Top-tier painting co.

At first, all was well. Quote was inexpensive compared to other local painters. Painter showed up as scheduled and worked diligently until completed (or so I thought). Overall impression of result was positive. However, over the next 2-3 weeks I became aware of several problems with the job, including missed sections (no prep or paint), preparation short-cuts, sloppy brushwork and a repair that was never done. The painter was working in my town for a month or so, so I asked him to come back to fix the issues. Although saying he would, he never came back and has repeatedly failed to return phone calls and numerous texts and has outright LIED about when he would come back (which is looking more and more like never). I am now faced, at the age of 72, to make repairs myself, which involves 2nd story ladder work -- precisely what I had wanted to avoid by hiring "professionals." I have since discovered that a large, horizontal surface (15 sq ft.) of the house not visible from the ground was left completely unpainted. Despite the fact that I saw the owner standing on that surface for the better part of a day while painting the visible surfaces of the house. This omission could not possibly have been accidental, it is simply too large an area for that. I consider it fraud, that he took money to paint the trim on my house and deliberately left a large area unpainted simply because he thought he could get away with it because it's not visible from the ground. Being suspicious after his refusal to fix the other areas, once again, I climbed the ladder I didn't want to in order to be able to see that area to find it unscraped, unsanded, unpainted and fully exposed to the weather. That's not sloppy, that's criminal.

The guys were very respectful and kind. Sean was great with communication and gave me a great price. I had a pretty tight deadline and I was impressed that they met it. I definitely recommend!
