I hired this company in November and the tech came out and half assed this job, I went up in the attic afterward and found that he didn't complete the work, not even close. Humidity went high right after he left and my AC system was back in service. After several attempts to contact Top A, I finally got a hold of a manager to come and complete the job, got it scheduled, and he never showed up, completely ghosting me now. I want this job completed or I want my money back. It's seeming more and more that this company is a scam job.

It started with a $194 duct cleaning based on 2 HVAC units. The technicians then inspected the attic an found multiple slits in the ducts running in the attic. This looked a bit suspicious to me as these could have been done using a cutter. Anyhow, the technician quoted $450 to duct tape the slits bit settled for $200. In addition, he also pointed out that there were many places where the ducts touched each other and there was no insulation in between the ducts that were touching each other. He further quoted $600 for getting this done with insulation material costing ~$400. They used 3 rolls of insulation material. Unfortunately I subsequently checked the price of the insulation roles at Home Depot and the cost was $90 for the same spec 3 rolls. I called the Technician and told him about the discrepancy in price and he said that the company charged him that much. I would strongly suggest that the homeowner needs to be present along with the technician during any inspection work.

Service for duct cleaning complete on 5/20/25. Initial service was for $97 / HVAC unit. Upon inspection the tech noticed mold on the vents. We agreed for an up charge for $485 to clean the mold and put a chemical in the attic units to remove the mold. Within 60 days the mold came back stronger and in vents we didn?t even had before. I texted the tech on Wednesday 7/23/25 of the issue. The tech responded that they?ll review my report. On 7/24/25 I called the tech as he didn?t respond back via text, but he did answer. The tech told me that he had someone coming out the next day 7/25/25. No one showed up or communicated they were coming. This is like any other typical duct cleaning company. They promise to take care of your issues and then they ghost you. I don?t recommend this company for not honoring their 2 year warranty commitment and not communicating.

They did a really good job. The man who came was professional, considerate, and a very hard worker, he did a great job. They are honest good people.
