I recently had a kitchen drain snaked by Top Contender drain specialist Inc. They did a great job. I've hired them numerous times over the years because I own an apartment building, they've done all kinds of work for me. They've done everything from jackhammering the cement to get out a bad pipe, to climbing on the roof to access the vent pipe, all types of repairs, they have consistently been excellent. When they work in apartments that are occupied by tenants I always get a happy response from the tenants because everything gets fixed right and they clean up their work after they're done. I've even hired them to work on my home and my parents home. I have no hesitation in recommending them, recently they showed up on a holiday weekend with a smile and took care of my clogged drain that was affecting three different apartments. Because they were willing to show up at a difficult time it made the weekend nice for everybody and I appreciate that.

Noel showed up on a Saturday and unclogged our kitchen sink in an hour. We had tried everything we knew to do and even took all the pipes apart under the sink to try and find the problem. When we couldn't find the clog we decided to look for a professional to help out and we called Noel. He and his employee were awesome. They replaced all of our old pipes and snaked the lines to the outside And all for under $300. We will definitely use him again and are planning to use him to power was all of our pipes soon.

Generally, it went well. I was told exactly what they were going to do before they did the work. The first day, I was taken aback at the price of the work, I assumed the original request would not be such an ordeal, so they allowed me time to consider the work and price while they fixed the toilet. I did decide to go ahead with Top Contender, and I am glad I did. They opened up the wall opposite the faucet, shower head, etc, and found rotten wood, which they replaced, cut away old pipes that were causing electrolysis, reinforced the pipes with staples(not sure of the technical terms), and patched up their work after replacing the shower head, faucet and spout. They were thorough. I had to add additional work to the kitchen faucet problem after cleaning under the sink and notice a crack on the pipe and ask if they would replace it after they fixed the faucet. The issue with the faucet was that it looked like it should have been stuck in the wall a lot further. I wanted to add tile on the wall behind the sink and the faucet stuck out of the wall. The exposed section was covered nicely and I am able to slide the piece, install the tile, and slide the piece back to the wall - problem solved. They did remove the plumbing underneath the sink with new, ABS p-trap assembly. Before they worked in the bathroom, they papered the floor from the front door through the bathroom, used any parts I had on hand, and aired out the bathroom during the entire time. They did clean up, better than most.. not perfect (but I would only notice that)..

Noel and his helper showed up on time and brought in their equipment, protecting the floor area around the sink with a large mat. He patiently worked to break down the clog, which was extensive and sludgy. After the clog was fixed, he checked for leaks and cleaned up thoroughly, leaving the area looking and smelling nice again.

Easy, roto rootered 6 feet into discharge pipe and removed the clog.

I have used this company several times in the past. The owner is personable and always quick to respond, always finds a way to fit you in when you have an urgent need.

After clearing the clog, they explained to me that everything - the toilet, the tub and the sink are all going through the same drain and recommend that each drain be separated to the main drain from the house. I agreed (it was about time). So, they went to work on rearranging the draining system.

They gave me a wonderful service and gave me a senior discount. There were two men out here when they did the drain. I had a million questions and they answered all of my questions with no issues. I felt respected.

The plumber did clean out the drain line at the three compartment sink area, but in the process, he drove his snake through a cast iron "P-trap."  I asked him about it, and he denied it.  He also lied, and said that the cast iron pipe in that area was all "corroded through."  He said that there was a good 20 feet, or so that needed to be replaced.  He also said that there is not any access to this area (another lie). <br /> There was a lot of water, and clean up downstairs in the mall the next morning, and the mall contacted me.  Fortunately, I had discontinued using the drain, when I realized the problem was there. <br /> I talked to mall maintenance, and gained access.  I also replaced the "P-trap" myself.  The rest of the cast iron pipe in this area looks to be in very good to excellent condition.  I have the "P-trap" in my possession (as proof), along with receipts from my plumbing purchase. <br /> The other floor drain that was cleaned out (supposedly), it still clogged, and I am still dealing with it (very frustrating). <br /> <br />

We have used him three times, and he was always excellent, easy to work with and very professional. <br />

The service was good. They came out within a few days of when I made the purchase. They cleared the drain, but I had to call another plumber out within a week. That does not mean it was their fault.
