This company was reasonably priced to fit our budget. The carpentry/craftsmanship work was exceptional. Unfortunately after removing our old deck we discovered throughly rotted out roof support posts , which required repair. Repairs were completed by this company and the project proceeded without delay. All in all it was a pleasure working with Steve and his crew. They were always on time, respectful of our property and professional. My husband and I highly recommend this company.

I used HomeAdvisor to gather quotes from several reputable contractors for painting the 6,000+ sq. ft. metal roof on my shop and house. After meeting Jeremiah from Top Gear Roofing, it was clear they were the right choice. During the estimate, he also pointed out that my 12,000 sq. ft. asphalt driveway needed resealing and a fresh topcoat, so I hired them for both projects. The very next day, their crew arrived and got right to work. My roof was fully prepped, painted, and completed in just three days. The team was courteous, professional, and took pride in their work. As soon as the roof was finished, another crew immediately began restoring my driveway—scraping, edging, cleaning, and applying a beautiful new surface. Steve, the owner, was on-site throughout the process making sure every detail was done right. The results are outstanding—my roof and driveway both look brand new. Top Gear Roofers went above and beyond my expectations to give me a great looking, and well done new roof. My old roof was a complete failing patchwork mess. They removed it and replaced it with a dependable seamless torch down roof. This was a very awkward difficult job, and Top Gear Roofing diligently worked hard to make it right. I had water in my attic roof around the flashing. I hired Top Gear. Nobody climbed on the roof or looked through the attic door at the problem. Just told me what I needed. The crew came out and did their work. It rained the next day and I still had a water issue. The next day a Top Gear Roofing employee showed up. He was up there for some time. I limbed up the ladder to check on what was going on. He said that it was not their flashing. It was the shoulder on the chimney. He had already began to cover the shoulder with asphalt sealant, Something that I had not approved of. He drove away with out laying out why he did what he did. When I investigated I notice that he also applied asphalt sealant on the outside of the flashing onto the brick itself. I contacted Top Gear and Steve said that is what is done to a chimney shoulder. I explained that it is not so. He offered to give my check back. I am left with a chimney that will not pass a home inspection. The crack on the shoulder should have been repaired with mortar. When Steve finally did get around to giving me my check he stated that there was nothing he could do about the shoulder. I am left with the cost of replacing the shoulder, trying to remove asphalt from the flashing, brick and the terra cotta. There is documentation as we did most of our communication through your portal. I have texts as well. Now you may not remove my Top Gear review, but I am sure going to post on every site I can to inform people of just what happened.

What I initially thought was a small job on my deck turned out to be a bigger issue—it had been built using interior wood. Steve, the owner, truly understood my financial situation and went above and beyond to ensure I ended up with a safe and solid deck. The entire deck was removed and rebuilt in under a week.
