Expensive but effective

Jesse is awesome, I call, he shows up, no bs, straight shooter and he stands behind his work. I have even called him when I was out of state to tell him my gardener reported a leak in the yard. He went directly to my house to turn off and protect all of our equipment and repaired the break the next day.

The whole process was very smooth. They came out and spent a couple of hours assessing the problems...turns out we had several. The water heater burner had failed and was under warranty. But they also discovered our pressure regulator had failed, our gate valve was frozen, and we had a pipe leaking in the wall! They found the necessary part for the warranty repair and drove 50 miles each way to get it rather than make us wait 1-2 days for for the part to be shipped. They stayed until all the problems were resolved which was greatly appreciated! (My wife and three daughters were not relishing cold showers!)

A little pricey for additional work requested but otherwise satisfactory.

Now my MB toilet which I had no issues with now will sometimes not stop because he changed the flapper. I have to jiggle handle to stop water where before he did that I never had problems. Also, the the actual toilet that had the problem.. nothing was resolved except telling me I needed a new one.

Work was done the same day after setting on an agreed price. It took one person a bit of time to install three toilets, but I’m sure it’s not easy work. He did forget to completely hook up one toilet in the lower bathroom. When we noticed there was no water in the toilet, we opened the valve and had immediate flooding in the bathroom because he did not hook up the other end of the supply line to the toilet. Isn’t that plumbing 101? Also, his caulking skills left quite a mess. It had to be redone. One of the plastic bolt covers was missing on one toilet as well.

Frustrating. I called for the toilet tuneup at the end of September. Did not show up because of truck accident. The plumber did show up for his appointment and did a good job on my toilet. I decided to get a quotation on my shower leak in rear house. The plumber quoted $180.00. I needed to pay extra money for a shower valve. At the side of the house, there was a water leak in which he stopped. The plumber got sick and I had to deal with a subsitute plumber. He finally finished the job 10/26/17. Gave me a deduction for my frustration.

Plumber was very knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. Would definitely hire again.

Said we had a different connection and it wasn't covered under the coupon price. So I said it never said anything in the offer and to cancel it. The owner called and said he would honor the coupon, but blamed Angie's List for not putting it in the details. Angie's List said the owner approved the offer as is so it was their fault for not specifying what type of replacement the offer was good for. In recent offers for the same thing from the company still does not specify only good for one type of connection so I don't know why they gave me such a hard time about it. The tech that came out was good, except if there is any pressure, water still leaks from the faucet handle. The new handle and faucet ended up not being much better than what I had. I take it as a loss and would not use that company again.

Great- found the source of the leak and installed new faucet. He was on time and completed the project within an hour. Very satisfied. Will definitely use again.

I had an issue with my garbage disposal and my faucet. My faucet has a long hose that pulls out. The guy actually couldn't figure out the hose, and it works worse than it did. The garbage disposal installation was fine, but as far as the faucet, it's wobbly. He couldn't get the hose to retract and extend. The sprayer where you can shift it between the stream and the spray that was working before he worked on it, and not working after he left. The garbage disposal looks great and everything works fine. He couldn't manage to reinstall a faucet on my kitchen sink.  <br /> <br /> I knew that it wasn't going to take very long and had considered doing it myself. I had an issue with my arm and didn't want to exacerbate that. I though while he was down there disconnecting stuff, he could troubleshoot the hose getting stuck, and he couldn't. He tried to get me to pay $125 a piece to replace ankle stops, which turns the water on and off from the hoses for your hot and cold. He turned it, and it leaks a little dribble down and said it needed to be replaced. I knew what he was doing and he quotes me $250 to replace those and you can change them for under $10. They are the easiest things to do. I wasn't appreciating the professionalism with that.  <br /> <br /> I didn't pay more than the Big Deal. It was only for two hours worth of work. I knew the installation of my garbage disposal wasn't going to cost more than $200. I made the arrangements before they came out, I didn't spring it on them. I notified them in advance what I needed to get done.  <br /> <br /> The garbage disposal was an "A", but making something I had not working as well as it should even worse, and then trying to sell me something for an arm and a leg that wasn't really broken would've been an "F". <br /> <br /> They were on time and notified me when they were on their way. They didn't take very long to complete the job. They left it clean. I think they should be able to troubleshoot a fairly new faucet. Anybody who's fairly handy could install something like that. They couldn't troubleshoot what was wrong with it and it wasn't technically broken. It was a fairly new product that got jammed, maybe by the way it was connected, may have tangled to the point that it just wasn't pulling out and going back smoothly. I think that would've been plumbing 101, first day on the job, that level of education. I would've expected any plumber to be able to solve that issue and they did not. I don't have a lot of good to say about that. I don't have a $500 faucet in there, but it wasn't a junk item, and had only been in there for about a year. <br /> <br /> I don't think it's professional to try and rip off a customer. You won't build a customer base with that dishonesty.  <br /> <br />
