First, I must express how extremely happy I was that Brian came out on labor day weekend. My carpet hadn't been cleaned in months and with a 4 year old, a teenager and constant traffic from her friends and our guest, it showed. Brian was on time and worked quickly, efficiently and was profesional. There were several really tough stains that I thought would be impossible to get out. Brian was able to get all of them out with the exception of one which was so light you could barely see it. I have since recommended him to several of my friends and they have had nothing but great things to say about him and his company. I will be hiring him again in the very near future.
He was efficient and fast. He was reasonable with his prices. He was even able to schedule the job within 48 hours.

DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE!!!!!!!!
I was looking for a carpet cleaning company to come into my home and simply shampoo/clean the carpets so I got on Angie's List and started making a few calls when I came across Total Home Carpet Care which I called and spoke to the owner, Brian Ginn. I told him I had lighter colored carpets that really weren't all that dirty as well as one room with a shag-like carpet that my carpet cleaner didn't work too well on and concluded that both could use a good professional cleaning regardless. I also shared that I was looking for a company that had one of those old-style vans with the hose that ran out of it to get in smaller spaces as I do live in a smaller home with larger furniture. He assured me that they had exactly that set up as well as a NINJA smaller carpet cleaner to use as a back up. He was very good in answering all of my questions on the phone and scheduled the appointment for him to come just 4 days later on Monday, October 27th.
He was on time, backed up into my driveway in his SUV, as I went outside to meet him he opened the back hatch of his SUV and there was his NINJA carpet cleaner sitting in the back of his truck. <CONFUSED LOOK> I asked him where the rest of his equipment was and he said he could go get it if I wanted him too (well, yes, this is what we initially discussed!, I'm thinking YIKES at this point!), but he was adamant that this little carpet cleaner in the back of his truck could get the job done and "it is a $4000 machine" so I had nothing to worry about. By the way, I looked online and you can get a NINJA carpet cleaner just like this one he had for about $1500-2000 new. Then, he added that he would need to use my water from the hose outside or bathroom inside!!!! I live on a well, so the hose (non-filtrated, dirtier water) was not an option so he set up shop in one of our bathrooms to fill his machine. I didn't have a good feeling and looking back, it's really my fault that I didn't go with my gut instinct and just tell him no thanks when he arrived. What can I say?! I'm nice. Some say too nice. Apparently.
He cleaned for 2+ hours then I looked around finding areas that didn't appear clean at all so I asked that he go back over those spots which had him here another 30-45 minutes, so 3 hours total. He seemed happy to go back as needed and wanted to please. When he left I didn't go inspect again, but the next day once things had dried a bit I went around and found several circle spots where his machine had leaked (the machine was in bad shape I noticed as it dripped from the sides and underneath) and here's the WORST PART OF THIS STORY OF ALL...the orange soap he used was still in my carpets, especially where he used more of it where I had showed him the dirtier areas. THE ORANGE CLEANER was ALL OVER the place!!! You could even tell how he had used his wand like tool as the design was still implanted into the carpets how he had sprayed it on. OMG! I was devastated. I hired him for help because I'm really busy and needed help. I contacted him to tell him about the issue at hand to which he offered no solutions and by the way never followed back up with me either. No one would want him to come back, trust me. I was scared to ask him to come back to fix it because what next?!?!
I have been working on getting all of the ORANGE cleaner out of my carpets for the past two weeks off and on as time has permitted and so far have spent 7 hours on it. A lot of dirt is still coming up as well, so he unfortunately did a VERY poor job all the way around. I'm really concerned about the shag carpet as the orange is still really showing in some areas, but I'm going to work on that more. I've been using my own Bissell carpet cleaner on my hands and knees scrubbing good to get all of this soap up along with the dirt stuck to his orange soap now. If it doesn't come out, I'll have to replace that carpet for sure. I'm already considering companies to hire for new hire in that particular room. UGH.
IT'S been a NIGHTMARE that I won't forget anytime soon. I'm super busy, but wanted to be sure I took the time to share this awful experience on Angie's List even if only one person reads it and doesn't make the same mistake I made in hiring this company. Thinking back, sometimes you get what you pay for and he was the least expensive option.
He was very timely, professional, and the products were wonderful. The deodorizer smelled really good. The cleaning was excellent, even in the high traffic areas.

The company gave me a fair price and was very prompt at coming when they said they were coming. They did an outstanding job of cleaning my carpets. My carpets look new now. They cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful of my furnishings in taking great care not to damage anything when they had to move something. I will certainly use them again and again in the future
The provider answered my initial call and we were able to set an appointment. He gave me a quote over the phone. He called when he was on his way and was on time. He did an excellent job as our carpet was extremely dirty. He kept his quote even though he spent extra time on the soiled areas. I was extremely happy with his overall service and have already referred him to friends.
It went good. I definitely was impressed by the quality of their work. We have a few animals and the carpet needed cleaning. I highly recommend them to others.
