The technician diagnosed the problem correctly. It was the sensors. He changed them and even helped me to program my remote. The entire job was completed in less than an hour. The price was reasonable too.

Town & Country was outstanding. I called in the morning and they were able to schedule a technician for that afternoon. They were not only prompt but ahead of schedule, and the tech called to make sure that was OK. The problem was thoroughly explained to me and fixed right away. I will definitely use them again if this service is needed.

Great service and price. Brian was the installer, and he was on time, courteous, and very experienced. Brian was very knowledgeable about the opener, and walked me through all the features. I would recommend Town and Country Door to anyone looking for great service.

They did not do the job right and we are having lots of issues. There have been lots of issues with it getting properly aligned. We have trying to get them to come fix it but they are being difficult. It has been less than 6 months and it should not be messing up already. They even had the nerve to try to charge us for the service call when they came back out after they messed it up!

The garage door spring broke on at 7:30 pm on Saturday 8/31/2019. Due to the Labor Day holiday weekend, service could not be obtained until 9/3/19 from any of the Angie's list recommendations. I left a message with all of the recommended companies on 8/31/19 and Town & Country had a message on their answering machine that they would call back on Sunday 9/1/19 after 9;00 am. On Sunday at about 9:45 am, Damion called back quote a price of $99 for install and a price of $149 for a pair of replacement springs. But, due to the holiday weekend the earliest they could do the work would be on Tuesday 9/2/19. He said Brian G. would arrive from 10-12 am. Damion was thorough, friendly, professional, and efficient. Brian G. arrived as expected and quickly and efficiently removed and replace the springs in about 30 minutes. Brian did an excellent job. He was thorough, friendly, and professional. I would definitely recommend Town & Country for garage door repair.

They did a good job of installing the openers and explaining their features and how to set up all the proper codes. There was a small problem with the installation where one of the brackets was pinching an electrical wire and causing it to short out. But after we had an electrician out to figure out the problem, T&C agreed it was a mistake and paid the electrician's invoice. Everyone we deal with was very friendly.

FRAUD! I waited to post this review. The review and ratings could have taken several different directions. But after not hearing one thing from the company after the initial incident that I will describe below this is how the review and ratings ended up. The company made no attempt to at a minimum apologize, explain or acknowledge what happened, or/and try and restore any sense of integrity, reputation, or trustworthiness by offering any sort of restitution or responsibility for the fraud. First, Town and Country Door did underbid the job. (reason for n/a price rating: If it would have not been underbid it would have been the highest bid that I received on Angies list and I would not have even scheduled an appointment.) this all started with contacting town and country by email with pictures to get a bid on replacing one spring and cables on two separate garage doors. One spring broke door 1 and cables frayed and on door two I was replacing the spring and cables doing preventative maintenance. After all who would want a garage door slamming down on a person or a vehicle. I received email bid from Town and country. I confirmed the $225 price in a subsequent email. It was confirmed. In addition, I asked more questions about spring mechanical rates and warranties. I was given a warranty of 3 years on the springs, 1 year on the cables, and 90 days on the labor. Well I read a review for Town and country posted on 11/18/18 and it said that Angies customers get a 5 year warranty on springs. I could not understand why a 5 or 3 year warranty was given on springs to different customers? I sent Town and country another email inquiring if the spring manufacturer changed for the warranty to change from 3 to 5 years trying to find out why I was told something else. Town and country replied saying that the springs were the same manufacturer and if it made me feel better to schedule the appointment I could have the 5 year warranty on springs also. I scheduled the appointment after all my last questions were answered with the 5 year warranty on springs. I also must say that while I was emailing back and forth I felt pressured to schedule an appt asap. I even explained that I was in no hurry and that I was collecting information and estimates. I was also told in my email replies that the technician would be able to lift the garage door prior to working on it and I could move the car out so the door could be worked on without the car there, which when the technician arrived was not the case. In addition on the pre-printed receipt it stated 1 year warranty on parts towards the bottom, so more selectivity. If you don't ask you get a one year?! When I received my receipt I made sure that it stated 5 year on the receipt. Frank, the first technician crossed off the 1 and put 5. For these reasons i really do not know anything about the quality of parts that i received therefore i rated them n/a. and it has been less than a year that they were installed. I set up a seven strand led work light on a ladder so the technician would have ample lighting. When Frank arrived he handed me his business card and introduced himself. Frank told me the car could not be moved out before he worked on the door and he didn't know who or why someone told me it could be done. I also verified the $225 price I was given and Frank told me that it could not be done for that price. Frank told me he had 20 years experience. I was also told by Frank that the cables looked fine on the door with and without the broken spring. And "since the spring on the other door was not broken why replace it everyone waits until it breaks", he said. The spring on the not broken door was coming unscrewed at the bottom due to a cracked 2x6 piece of wood, which was acting as a spacer. He said he would move the spring over to the not broken piece, which would then be only a 3" piece of wood. I questioned why the 2x6 board would just not be replaced. He said again he would move it over and never really answered why. (after the second technician was sent out I imagine/guess that Frank really didn't have the supplies or inclination to change the board out. The second technician had a heavy duty pick up truck with multiple tool boxes in the bed and Frank arrived in a minivan without the same kind of layout to store excess needed supplies). it seems logical to me to replace a cracked board spacer or not. I explained that 225 was the price I was given and I was not going to pay more. I looked up the emails and gave him the names of who signed the emails. Frank called into the Town an country office. He said to the person he was talking to at the office that "I dont think there is any money in this job." Frank got off the phone and tried to explain to me that the price given was for one door not both doors. Again i said I sent in pictures and confirmed the bid prior to scheduling the appt. I asked him to leave since there was no way I was going to pay a price that I was not given besides the fact it would then be my highest bid plus they were changing the price. I asked Frank to leave. He then said there was service fee. Presumably they wanted to get some money out of me just for showing up. I said no one ever told me about a service fee either and I was not going to pay for that. I asked him to leave several more times he told me I could call into the office and he did eventually leave. At this point I was not going to call into the office since town and country gave me one price and expected me to pay another price and I had already scheduled and gotten ready for the appointment at this point for no reason. I received two calls from Town and country right after Frank left that I sent to voicemail. The second call a message was left. I listened to my voicemail after moving the other car back in the garage and took down the work lighting. While i was pondering my list of who to call next to do the job, i listened to the message. Josh, a manager from Town and country said that he spoke with the owner and they would honor the bid the person in the office responding who made the mistake in his reply gave me. I called Town and country back and they said they could send Frank back out an hour or so later. In the mean time, I was getting an intuitive feeling that I should mark the cables and not broken spring so I could tell if they were changed. I was trusting the company to do the job after all the positive reviews but after the initial on site contact I guess something felt off. (in retrospect I should have now just went with another company, the turmoil is not worth it) after I searched and got a white paint pen and that was not really showing on the dirty cables. Then I thought of nail polish. I searched the house and found some orange nail polish I painted it on all 4 cables towards the bottom portion of the cables and the not broken spring. Frank arrived for the second time. He got to work on the broken spring door first an I mentioned when he came back the right side cable was indeed frayed on that door ( I saw it when I was painting the cable.) I moved the car up on the broken spring door and then out after the spring was replaced and Frank opened the door so he could get to the garage door trolley and automatic unit. I asked him if he wanted tea, coffee, water when he arrived. He opted for tea. I made him tea twice and brought him out more hot water when he left and told him he could take the thermal cup. He was personable we chatted some about his health scare and he told me how his wife volunteers and makes no money and asked me some personal questions. I even printed him off some info off the internet. I did not spend the entire time in the garage being a technician babysitter. I checked how the work was going here and there and asked about his tea supply. After all you should be able to trust strangers you are inviting into your home via repair companies after some due diligence of reading reviews asking around, etc. Being a single female this may matter too me and not someone else, however. I did notice when i was out there checking in that the replaced springs were left on the floor but there were no cabl

I called at 9:30 am and Justin arrived at 11:15 am. He called first and said he was about 5 minutes away. He told me what the job would cost and I had him go to work. He replaced the gear drive inside the unit in less than 30 minutes. He was very professional.

We hired Town & Country to install a new garage door. We had a couple of delays because we were waiting for an insurance payment for the repair. This, at times, made the situation more complicated but they were always helpful, professional, and responsive when dealing with us. We primarily dealt with Josh who was quite helpful. We were eager to get the new door and regain the use of our garage and they were accommodating in getting us into the schedule quickly. The actual install of the door was smooth and done correctly the first time. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

I called and the person answering the phone said they could be out between 1-2 to perform the work. She said the technician would call when he was on the way. Jessie, the tech called around 12:45 and said he was 15 minutes away. He showed up and gave them the price on the replacement and he performed the work. It cost $156.00 total for the replacement of the spring. I would do business with them again.
