I have an appointment for him to come this year. I only use him once a year. About this time of year I call him. I have a double and some of my windows are giant windows. Some of the windows are screen so he does not do all the window. He is very reasonable that's why I call him. He only lives around the corner from me so I don't know if that's the reason but I am not questioning it. He is very nice. I call him and make an appointment because sometimes he is very busy. When I call him I ask if he can come within a week. But if he is not easy he will come within 2 or 3 days. This time I waited a week which I do not care. Price is reasonable. He knows what he is doing. He has to use a ladder. I leave him a message and some times I have to wait a day for him to call me back but I know he will call me back. He comes very early like 8 in the morning. It is always very early in the morning. He is very nice, very nice. I have been using him for years. He use to be cheaper but I do not complain. I am very happy with him that is why I call him every year.

They did an excellent job. It just wasn't that long really. They weren't really wanting to do exactly what we needed to have done so we added another aspect to the project which allowed them to do everything that we needed them to do plus. Clean up was very good. There were 2 people.

They weren't too bad but I think they could have done a better job. They did a couple of different jobs. I own rental property but all the 3 buildings are on the same piece of property where I live at. So far it seems they've done the trick as far as solving problems like pipes freezing out, that kind of stuff. Unfortunately my house itself can't be insulated any more than it already is but what I was trying to get at, like trying to get rid of dross and making sure that doors seal up well, things like that, I think they could have done a little bit better. If their prices are as reasonable as right now, I'd probably use them again. They could have tried harder to insulate my apartment. There are places they could have done it because we had a section of the house redone. Our kitchen was remodeled and they could have done it but they didn't. They could have been more attentive to detail. My house is not a new house but its also not a real old house either, it was built in the 40's so something needed to be looked at to make sure that the draft was kept out not just from the windows and walls that were insulated but also the door, the door jambs, making sure the door fits tight and all that kind of thing.

The salesman showed up on time. He gave an estimation. We had 3 estimations done and theirs was in the middle. My husband was very impressed with the salesman's knowledge and felt the company would do a good job. They put holes in the outside, we have wood cedar siding. The holes were plugged well. They blew in the insulation. They blew in the insulation into our kitchen wall too much and the wall had a fine crack in it. I was concerned about someone coming out to look at this, and also to check and make sure a good job was done. We are not knowledgeable about these things. Someone came out and looked at the cracks in my kitchen wall and basically said too bad, it was our walls fault. My husband said they checked the walls with an infra red thing that could tell if there were any pockets, and it check out okay. I spackled the wall and tried to make it look halfway decent.  So for 6 years we have had this insulation. We recently went to sell our house and the new buyers had an inspection done. The attic has a huge un-insulated area around the fireplace flue or what ever that is called that goes up through the attic to the roof. I always wondered about this, you can see right to the ground floor. Also, the insulation is  blown to the very edges of the attic floors. Apparently this is not how it should be. So for all of these years, we assumed they did a professional job and it turns out they didn't. I am skeptical of workman ship of many contractors and this re-enforced my belief that most do not have the moral fiber or contentiousness to do a job without screwing up or just not caring if they do. I called Anita at Town Insulation who is a very nice, professional and caring person. She had them come out and inspect the work. A worker came out, he was late and my husband finally called him to see when he was coming and he said that he was held up but would be out that day, which he was. He corrected everything that was wrong so that it will pass inspection. I am glad they came out and did this without any hassle. I regret that I lived with this done incorrectly for so long. I would not use them again. I don't know if I would trust anyone else any more than them, but at least I know they do not care about workmanship. If you are lucky enough to know someone to inspect the work besides them, then that would be helpful. <br />

They told it would not matter that we didn’t get the insulation in the walls, but it was very cold last winter. It is code in our town, that we needed insulation in the walls, but they didn’t know the answer to that after I told them a handful of times. Their installers were very nice and did a very nice job though.
