1. The seal on the travertine wore off within months. (Even though their estimate was more expensive than any other, they appeared reliable.) We complained and were repeatedly promised they would come and fix it. We repeatedly waited for them to show up for the appointments, but they never showed. It looks awful. THEY WERE TOTALLY UNRESPONSIVE (except the secretary who made multiple appointments for the boss who never showed.) <br /> 2. When Trademark Floors sealed the driveway, they failed to cover the house and garage door. As a consequence, I now have sealer sprayed randomly on these areas which will require repainting. <br /> 3. After the job was initially completed, I found a huge amount of leftover pavers. When I inquired, I was told they could not break loads. I am suspicious it is a way to overcharge. <br /> <br />

Ira sent a team of guys (3) to the house as scheduled and they went right to work. I had cleaned out most of the garage so they were able to start quickly. They used a machine to grind the garage floor to bare concrete. The garage had lots of cracks so they filled them in with an epoxy crack filler. Once this was done and dry they rolled on the base color. They rolled the top coat and threw the flakes on the floor. Scraped the excess flakes off and i think another top coat, can't remember exactly. I went with the Poly Aspartic system since it was a one day process over the epoxy system which would have been 3-4 days. Yes it was a bit more expensive but the results are great and it has a great warranty. IMPORTANT NOTE - the stuff really smells and since it's in your garage it will seep into your house. Be prepared to deal with the smell for about a day, we left the garage door open a crack over several nights to help with the smell. I could walk on it within a couple of hours and parked the car on it the following day. Looks awesome.About a week later they came to start on the driveway, walkway and lania. They pressure washed one day and started the work the following day. They put down the base coat, we selected a two color acrylic system with a template design. After that the stencil was laid down followed by the top coat being applied by sprayer. This was all done by 2 guys, they'd been doing this for quite some time, you could tell. After the top coat dried they removed the stencil and you could see the design and colors. Once all was cleaned up from overspray they applied two coats of sealer. WARNING.... this stuff smells real bad, worse than the garage!!!! My wife and child had to leave one night because of the smell. All in all the driveway and lanai look great. Have received lots of comments from neighbors wanting to do the same to their house. I'll try and figure out how to add photos here soon.

Workers were prompt and efficient. Helped moved free standing cabinets, heavy tools, and machines to driveway.ACleaned up excess of chip residue from floor. Replaced all equipment and cabinets in garage after completion.

The owner Ira came out to do the estimate. He was very professional and seems to know the products and industry. We had a few issues, but overall the finished job is beautiful and I'm glad we did it. Issues: The stone samples provided were not sealed, so it was impossible for me to know what the final color would be. Be prepared for either a surprise, or ask Ira for addresses where the product is installed and sealed. I'm glad I did. We had a very specific schedule to work by. My husband needed to be here on the day of grading so he could deal with a drain pipe that had to be moved, and we made this point clear when we were scheduling it. My husband took the day off to be home, but the guys only showed up that day to start work at 3-4PM and only got as far as clearing. The grading did not get done on that day. The grading did not get done as we asked for it to. We wanted the entire patio to slope away from the house. The first good rainstorm after the installation revealed that just a 'v' like indentation was made to divert the water. It starts from the screened-in area back door and runs to an edge. I fear that we might end up with water inside the house with an extended rainstorm or hurricane. As I stated earlier, the patio is beautiful. The biggest issue I have is the grading.

My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with the work performed by this company! Their workmanship is excellent and their work and materials were reasonably priced. We had a significant amount of deck/patio to cover and the work was started and completed on time. The installers were very professional and cleaned up after the work was completed. We thought Jaydel and his crew were great. We enjoyed working with Ira, the owner of the company. He is very knowledgeable and was terrific at pointing out the important aspects of installing pavers. His company offered a huge selection of materials from which to choose. We would definitely hire this company again and highly recommend their work.

The patio looks real good. There is a tree root that was in the area of where the patio was being installed. They were able to work around the tree root. Had an issue with the grill pad in that it was installed in the wrong place. Met with the project manager first thing the next morning to discuss where I wanted the grill pad. This required adding a retaining wall, which Trademark only charged me their cost for the wall. They were out the next day and did the job correctly. I was very happy with the final result and pleased with how they handled the issue with the grill pad placement. They wanted to do the job right.

In 2005, Trademark installed pavers on my lanai/pool deck (the deck was originally built in 1992 and covered with an acrylic coating). That paver work has proved completely satisfactory, in terms of workmanship, appearance, and durability. Due to my satisfaction with this 2005 work, I asked Trademark to install pavers on the extensive concrete sidewalks around my home. This work, which was just completed in April 2008, is also exemplary. Would I use Trademark again? Absolutely. I just did!

It was hard to understand the workers because they were from another country. The man in charge was rarely there. There are places that pieces of pavers fell out, but you can't see it from a distance. I have had many compliments on how wonderful the pavers look.

Ira was prompt with an estimate. I got 2 others from Angie's companies. He was the middle price so I picked him. The 2 Brazilian guys worked very hard and I'm happy w/the patio. The lack of supervision, irresponsibility of leaving an 8' wide, 4' high pile of crushed concrete, paver pieces & metal bands from 3 pallets of pavers in the street for 5 days...is ridiculous. Neighbors & guests were appalled also. After hosing and sweeping my driveway 3 times, I told Ira he needed to clean the chalky haze that remained. He gave me a 5 gallon bucket of paver sealer as compensation and sent a man to clean the drive-he did a lousy job. I called Ira. He didn't respond so I sent an email that I would withhold $100 from my cr. card pymt. to have a pro clean it. Two days passed, I sent the email again and someone came several days later to pressure wash. It looks better but I just found my hose is split and my water bill is $10 more due this clean-up.

"WHEN CONTRACTED, THE JOB NEEDED TO BE COMPLETE BY THE CHRISTMAS WEEKEND, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. THE MANUFACTURER COULD NOT DELIVER UNTIL THURS. 12/21. AS A RESULT, WE OFFERED THE OPTION OF INSTALLING FRIDAY, BUT ADVISED THE REFUGE WOULD NOT GET PICKED UP UNTIL AFTER THE HOLIDAYS. WHEN ADVISED BY MY OFFICE, SHE WAS FINE AND SAID TO GO AHEAD. AS THE CREW FINISHED, EITHER SHE ASKED OR ONE OF THEM STATED WITHOUT THINKING THAT SOMEONE WOULD RETURN SATURDAY FOR THE WASTE. RATHER THEN CONFIRM WITH MY OFFICE, SHE TOOK THAT AS FACT THOUGH THE OFFICE HAD ALREADY ADVISED THAT WOULD NOT HAPPEN. TUES. THE 26TH SHE ADVISED ME OF WHAT OCCURRED. I CHECKED THE PROBLEM AND TOLD HER WE HAD A CLEAN UP CREW SCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT DAY. "THIS WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE BECAUSE IT WAS IN THE STREET" AND ASKED IF WE COULD MOVE IT ON HER DRIVEWAY FOR THE DAY. WE MOVED THE PILE ONTO HER DRIVEWAY THAT AFTERNOON. THE NEXT DAY, THE WASTE WAS PICKED UP. SHE COMPLAINED THAT THE PILE LEFT A MESS ON HER DRIVEWAY. THE NEXT DAY, I SENT A MAN TO CLEAN. WHEN HE LEFT SHE WAS HAPPY. THE NEXT DAY SHE SAID IT WAS STILL A MESS. I ARRANGED FOR OUR CLEAN UP CREW TO GO BACK AND CLEAN HER ENTIRE DRIVEWAY. IT TOOK A WEEK OF BACK & FORTH CALLS TO GET SCHEDULED. AT NO TIME DID WE NOT RESPOND IMMEDIATELY TO HER CALLS. SHE WAS ABLE TO REACH ME ON MY CELL PHONE AT ANY TIME. FOR HER "TROUBLE", I PROVIDED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY,& SEALER FOR HER PAVERS AT NO CHARGE. COURTESY AND PROFESSIONALISM WERE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES."

Rick really did an excellent job, working extra time to finish the job at the time I was promised, even though one day he was short a helper. The quality of work, the extra effort that was used by the installer (Rick), & knowledge of products (Ira & Rick) was great.

OVERALL VERY DISSATISFIED WITH TRADEMARK'S PERFORMANCE. POOR WORKMANSHIP, UNQUALIFIED PERSONNEL AND LITTLE TO NO SUPERVISION OF WORKMEN. THEY TOOK FOUR WEEKS TO COMPLETE A 5-DAY JOB. TOOK THREE WEEKS OF REWORK TO CORRECT THEIR MISTAKES. THEY LACK THE EXPERTISE TO DO THIS TYPE WORK.

THE CREW WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COMPLETED THE JOB QUICKLY. WE HAD A PREVIOUS COMPANY INSTALL A STAMPED CONCRETE PARKING PAD FOUR YEARS AGO AND THIS COMPANY DID A NICE JOB MATCHING THE OLD WORK. THERE WERE A FEW SPOTS WHERE THE STAMP LINES DIDN'T MATCH UP AND A FEW LOW SPOTS, BUT THE CREW DID A GOOD JOB BLENDING THE AREAS BEFORE SEALING THE CONCRETE AND PUTTING EXPANSION JOINTS IN THE LOW SPOTS SO THE WATER WOULDN'T COLLECT AT THOSE POINTS. WE ACTUALLY LIKE THE LOOK OF THE JOB THIS COMPANY DID AS OPPOSED TO THE CONCRETE STAMPING WE HAD ANOTHER COMPANY PERFORM 4 YEARS AGO. THE IMPRESSIONS ARE DEEPER AND GIVE THE CONCRETE MORE OF THE EFFECT OF REAL STONE.

IRA KNEW HIS BUSINESS. HE TOLD ME EXACTLY WHAT TO EXPECT (E.G. 'COATING MATERIAL WILL GET IN POOL - YOU NEED TO HAVE POOL CLEANED AFTER WE FINISH'). THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. CLEAN UP WAS FINE. THEIR PRICE WAS VERY CLOSE TO ANOTHER ESTIMATE I RECEIVED - SO THEY ARE COMPETITIVE, BUT NOT CHEAP. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
