Turned out better than they thought it would be, on time, reasonably priced and I would recommend them again.

Joe Wheeler was very courteous and helpful with phone text and call. Came out to give me a second estimate. overall, the driveway looked coated. However, I was a little disappointed in the finished product though. Some of the shallow cracks were not filled. In their defense, the advertisement only said that the deeper cracks would be filled.

I set up the work with them last fall, when it was too late in the season to do repaving.  They called me about five days ago to schedule the work for yesterday.  Large crew arrived about 10:00 am (after any threat of rain had vanished) and started to work right away and energetically.  The whole process took about four hours.  I am especially pleased with the attention to detail: making sure all driveway slopes have a good drainage path, careful hand work for all edging, bringing the asphalt height to just the right height at the entrance to the garage so that water would not dribble in under the garage door, final smoothing of the surface at the end of the process.  The workers were courteous and respectful and answered all my questions about the paving process and how to care for the new driveway afterwards.  The price was about 20% higher than two other bids I had, but the estimator was so thorough in detailing everything they would do to make the best possible job persuaded me that the extra was worth paying for.  The other two estimators just basically measured the drive and gave me a figure without explaining anything.  Trampler Brothers is a second-generation, family-owned business and in my dealings with them it was obvious they were determined to do a very good job and make sure I understood everything involved. <br> <br> <br> <br>

I got three estimates last fall for having my driveway repaved.  I chose Trampler Brothers because their representative gave me a detailed description of the work that needed to be done and how it would be done.  The other two companies just measured the driveway and gave me a cost figure.  Trampler Brothers' cost was about 20% higher than the other two, but I had more faith in the quality and thoroughness of their work after talking to their representative.  It was too late in the season for the repaving to be done last fall, but they called me in late March, as soon as the weather permitted, and scheduled the job. <br> <br>A very large crew arrived about 10:00 am on the appointed day and immediately got to work energetically.  They scraped and hauled away all the broken or loose asphalt in no time at all.  Once the stone arrived on a dump truck, they went to work with the paving machine.  Workers meticulously went around all the edges to make sure the asphalt interfaced neatly and cleanly with the masonry borders of my drive.  They also removed about 1.5 inches of asphalt where the drive approaches my garage, so that the resulting repaving would be perfectly level with the garage floor.  Drainage holes were made where needed on one side of the drive.  The edges of the drive out near the street were very neatly bevelled.  The whole operation took about five hours and they cleaned up nicely afterwards.  I asked about how to care for the asphalt and they gave me a booklet with a lot of good information in it. <br> <br>Overall I was very satisfied with the quality of the work and the staff that did it.  I think it was worth paying a small premium for a job this well done. <br> <br>

They came and gave me an estimate for sealcoating two driveways a few months ago. They have been backed up a couple of months due to all the rain we have had this year. Once they were able to schedule, they came and were done in a half hour. They edged the driveways and used a broom to do the edges next to cemented areas. They used a sprayer to do the rest. It was quick and it looks great. You could tell they really knew what they were doing. This saved me a long hot day in the sun pushing a brush to apply sealcoat. <br />

As I said above, part of this job was to pour a new headwall on the upstream side of the pipe. Seeing their technique, it was obvious they had done this quite a few times. They managed to make a wooden form, pour concrete in it, and allow the concrete to set up overnight all without having to dam up the creek - very clever. <br /> Throughout this whole adventure, there was only maybe a 4-hour period in which I couldn't use my driveway, so if anybody in my household absolutely HAD to go somewhere, they pretty much could. They were very considerate. <br /> They are also well-coordinated with their suppliers; very organized with the delivery of gravle, concrete, the pipe, etc. I never had more than one and quot;extraand quot; vehicle in my driveway at a time; nobody driving through my yard, etc. <br />

They did a good job and did it when they said they were going to. They were very respectable to the property. They cleaned up after themselves. They were nice to deal with. They are just a good company. I don't have anything to compare the price to because I have never had that kind of job done before but the price was okay.
