They did a good job. We did not have any issues with them during the service. I also think that their price is also reasonable.

PERFECT!   Al handled the job in a very professional manner.Perfect communication from the first call.They came to do the estimate almost immediately after I first called them. Their prices are the best - and by far - out of several other companies I got the estimates from. On top of that they even threw in the free trim for the remaining palm! <br /> Very punctual. They worked their schedule to suit ours - which is very courteous of them,  and I know that not many other companies are willing to do that. Showed up to do the job sharp on day/time when the appointment was set. The job was done quickly and high quality. Cleaned up very well.  <br /> I will definatley be using this company for tree service again, and I certainly recommend it to others.

I called and received a response the next day.  Alan came out the next day and gave me an estimate  We set an appointment for the following week.  Alan called and told me when he would be at my home.  After, they cleaned up all of the branches.

After receiving several estimates, Jake, Tree Chop's arborist, described all the work in detail that his company would perform for a very fair price. We had a large diseased oak tree that needed to be removed, and two very large oaks in front that were always making a mess and were very ugly. Jake promised that when he was finished center pruning the trees that we would be very happy with the result. We were beyond happy at the amount of work and the quality of the work. The oaks in front went from an eyesore to now appearing almost majestic. Jake has an artist's eye when it comes to tree trimming. He also totally transformed another smaller tree from an unkempt mess into a beautifully shaped specimen. We were impressed with the entire crew, particularly since they were family members, who obviously took pride in their work ethic and in ensuring that the customer was happy. They continued until I was totally satisfied with every facet of the different projects I had asked them to do. They also removed hedges and cleaned out an area near the front door that I am hoping to make into a patio now that I have a clean slate from which to begin my design. The owner, Al, not only supervised the work but also performed much of the labor as well. They were very hard workers and we were very impressed with the end result. We would happily recommend them as being a rare find of quality, value and genuinely nice people to work with. We hope to have a continuing relationship as we now plan to keep our trees, shrubbery and hedges routinely trimmed and shaped.

In response to my inquiry, Alan came promptly and gave me an estimate.  I accepted, and the next day he and his crew came and did the work, exactly as we had discussed.  They cleaned up the site very well.  They did not press me to do more work than was needed; I was left with a good feeling as to their integrity.

they did what they said they would do, in a timely manner but the clean up was not done well.

The is the first time I used Angie's List. I needed my tree's trimmed and I contacted Alan from Chop LLC. Alan and his crew were professional, quick, did an excellent job of trimming the tree's as well as cleaning up afterwards. His price was very fair and honest. I highly recommend Chop LLC for any tree service you might need.

We have a HUGE palm tree that is about 30 feet now. I wanted it removed, but when Alancame to look at it, he asked for the opportunity to trim the tree rather than remove it. He said that the tree was still healthy and he could fix it up to look really good again. I was very impressed. It would have cost hundreds of dollars to have the tree removed. Alan was a super guy. I would recommend him in a heartbeat based on the way he conducted himself today.

Everything went great. Calls were returned promptly. Work was done on time.We were very happy at how smoothly everything went.

Alan responded very quickly to my e-mail request.  Called me same day.  Came out same week to give me an estimate.  He told me he takes care of his Angie's List customers, and my estimate and the work proved this.  He came out on a Sunday as promised, completed the work in a timely manner.  All cleanup was done.  I feel I got great value for the price.  I live on a lake and many of the trees on the shoreline had overgrown and the view of the water was blocked.  The view is clear and beautiful now.  I am very pleased.  Look forward to having more work done in the future.  Alan is very friendly, professional and obviously talented.  The fact that he loves dogs made me like him even more.  My beagle Roxy ran out to greet him and he was totally cool with it!

I had no idea who I should call to trim my palms so I used Angie's list.  I saw that Tree Chop was well rated and contacted the company.  Alan was quick to respond and kept me informed of the progress via email.

Called and came on time for estimate,very fair. Was here on day and time they said they would . Did work and cleaned up area completely.

Al and his worker showed up on time, as promised, and gave me an estimate of $110.00.  He trimmed all 4 trees and made sure I was happy with the results.  He and his worker cleaned up the yard after the work was completed.  Al and his worker were very personable and professional.  I plan on using them for all future trimmings.

I found Tree Chop on Angie's List, and Al was agreeable to coming out to give us a quote at 6:30 PM to accomodate our work schedule.  His responsiveness was excellent, and he was able to come back the following day to remove the tree.  While Al may come across a little rough around the edges at first glance (more like a hippie tree hugger than a tree chopper) :), he was very respectful and professional in his interactions.  He made it clear that he was a big fan of Angie's List members and gave us an excellent price for the job as a result.   He completed the job as scheduled, on budget, and left no need for clean up whatsoever.  Overall outstanding experience!

Contractor is pleasant and quickly responsive to calls and questions.  The price for the service performed was exceptional and the attention to detail regarding service was impeccable.  He arrived on time and the job took the amount of time he projected.  I would not use any other tree service contractor...no matter the price quote.

Alan showed up bright and early at 8:00 a.m. with a truck with a bucket so they were able to cut the tree down from the top in sections. They completed the work before 12:00 p.m. and cut the tree very close to the ground so that I would not even have to have someone come in and grind up the stump. They cleaned every branch and piece of debris from around the area that they were working, including using a blower to clean off my screen enclosure where some of the needles from the tree had fallen.(That was another reason I was happy to see this tree gone. It was always dropping needles on the screen enclosure which would eventually make their way through the screen into my pool.) Alan and his crew were very professional and I would not hesitate to call them again for tree trimming which I will be doing in the near future. I was very pleased with their work.

Four trees were trimmed, and 2 bushes that were close to the house, were removed. The estimate was just as quoted, and the job began on the day that was planned. Absolutely no problems. The workers were fast, and did a great job trimming, and removing the debris.

This is the second time I used Tree Chop. Al and his crew arrived on time and removed the large branches that were hanging over the screen enclosure. Al actually removed more than was estimated in his original quote but did not charge extra. After they started the job I asked him to remove part of another tree which they did for a nominal charge. I was afraid they would damage my screen enclosure but they were able to remove everything with no problems. It is very evident they know what they are doing. They cleaned up all the mess before they left. I was pleased with the job they did.

They were great overall. I felt comfortable, and felt like they knew what they were doing.

We moved into a very old house a couple months ago, with a very old beautiful oak tree in the front yard. Without warning or any kind of inclement weather, the largest branch gave way and fell - luckily causing no damage. After receiving city approval, we looked up tree services on Angies List and called Tree Chop. Alan gave my wife an estimate that was slightly less than the other two she received (for the record, I was shocked at the price to remove a tree, but all prices was that high). He was here with his team and had the job completed in the timeframe he initially gave us - 2 full days. They did exactly what we had expected and were very professional. He also referred us to a company that handles stump grinding, as they are not equipped to do so. We paid that company $250, and he also did exactly what Alan told us he would. Great job all around and we will certainly use them both if we have another unfortunate incident of a tree dying or needing to come down.

Al and Jake showed up on time to give me an estimate. when i mentioned angie's list and the coupon, they didn't hesitate to give me the discount. the work they did was very professional. they were polite and very considerate of my neighbors' yards. they protected my drip irrigation lines and sprinklers and the smaller and fragile plants within range of the large and small branches that came down as they were pruning. the amount trimmed from the tree pretty much filled my backyard. they did an excellent job cleaning everything up and carted it all away and the tree looks great. overall, i am very satisfied with the job and would use them again. i recommend them to anyone.

Al and Jake came out to take them down. They, initially, wanted to dig them up and take them with them, but it turned out that the roots showed us that they were mostly dead and probably would not have survived a transplant to there own property. As it was, they had their hands full getting them out of here. My two palms were very, very wide around the middle, very, very heavy, and very tall. It took them quite a while to take them down, cut them into movable pieces and dump them into the back of their trailer that they brought along. The whole time was about four hours and they worked non-stop during that time. I was very impressed with their professionalism. They work well together.

We were concerned with the branches being so close to the house. We called several tree services for estimate. We found Tree Chop to be most informative and prompt. Sales representative was very courteous, he took his time to explain how the job was to be done. We scheduled the service and crue showed up on time and prepared to work. I was impressed with their professionalism and very please with the results of their work. I would recommend their services to friends and neighbors and to anyone who wants to have the job done right. I found their prices to be competitive and their work to be outstanding. The trees they trimmed never looked better. I have used other services before, but never one as good and informative and reasonable as Tree Chop LLC.
