I contacted a few of the highly rated vendors here on Angie's List to get bids for installing a paver patio.  Rob from Trees, Shrubs, and More was the first one to respond and the first to come out to give a bid.  He was professional, explained exactly how the job would be done, took detailed measurements, and I received the bid the next day.  Only two other contractors bothered to respond to my request for bids and their proposals were close to double the quote from Trees, Shrubs, and More.  Considering that all we wanted was a rectangular patio with the most inexpensive stones available, those other bids seemed excessive. <br /> My husband contacted Rob a few weeks later, while I was travelling out of the country, and asked him if they would be able to install the patio as a surprise for me.  In spite of a full schedule, Rob found a way to make it work and had his top foreman supervise the installation.  They got it done in matter of 2 days and it looks fabulous!  We are very pleased with the results and would definitely use them again. <br />

It went wonderfully.  Robert provided me with two detailed estimates in order for me to make a cost-effective decision and once they arrived, their work ethic and attention to getting the job completed was very focused. The communication was prompt when I had questions and they were always pleasant and polite. <br /> Of note, being a woman who owns a home and talking to contractors, there is sometimes a condescension or a tendency to talk to "my husband." (I am single).  These fellows treated me with respect, they actively listened, they were polite, professional and efficent.   Thank you for truly being a 21st century company and for showing that extra bit of professionalism that I so appreciate. <br /> I will recommend this company to all my friends! <br />

So far, so good.The staff checked the items to make sure they were in good shape to take home.  The staff helped me to find the types of plants I was looking for and made recommendations based on the guidelines of what I was looking for. <br />

Logan (the landscaper designer) and his crew were fantastic.  We got three bids, and Logan is the only one who not only listened to our vision but also stayed within our budget.  We have extensive landscaping beds, so we thought the price was fair for the labor and materials to remove our old landscaping and retaining wall and install new.  Logan was very flexible in switching out some plants in the design.  He also worked the landscaping schedule around the pouring of our new driveway, which got rain delayed.  The crew was very professional, very friendly and cleaned up the job site after each day.  I also liked that it was the same crew there each time.  Logan and the crew were also very flexible in working through a short punch list of items we had during their last day.  I would not hesistate to hire back Trees, Shrubs and More for any future landscape needs. <br />

It went very good, I'm very pleased with them. They're very responsive and they did the job that meets the schedule pretty quickly and they did a great job at the installation. I would recommend them, I would use them again but I found somebody else that I like a little bit better.

What stands out is their professionalism and the designer.

Met with designer. He rocked out an amazing design for a great look for our yard in 20 minutes, sketching it out while we were standing there, including modifications to our driveway and front walk, that hadn't been poured yet, that flowed with the landscape design. Truly outstanding work. He came back later (just a few days) and included all the bits and details as fars as plant and tree selections. Then met us at the property with a print off of all the plants and trees so we knew what they looked like. He incoporated stone work as well that ended up looking amazing that also matched up well to our home and the natural stonework we had put on the house. <br /> The designer also came out and helped us mark the new design of the driveway and front walk and talked to the cement guy when he showed up to make sure he knew where everything needed to go, and also worked with the yard grader when we were getting everything leveled out. He certainly went above and beyond, which you rarely see anymore. <br /> Overall, yes it's pricey, but if you compare to the other folks in the area, it was dirt cheap. Designers from other landscapers we met were unfriendly and charge us a fee to even meet with us, which is ridiculous. They probably had to charge since their designers have no personality and shouldn't be meeting with customers, and they took weeks to come back with any kind of design. Trees shrubs and more was fast, did a great job, and excellent customer service! <br /> They have since followed up and helped with a couple other concerns, that had nothing to do with them, but they helped us figure out things (like if the drip lines in the sprinkler system was adequately watering the plants, which is wasn't, so they helped us out big time on that) <br />

Outstanding experience from the first communication. Logan was our contact. He always did what he said, when he said he would do it. The price was competitive with other bids. The installers were knowledgeable and courteous. Entire staff was easy to work with. We had to adjust schedules to accommodate sprinkler installations on new construction home, and Logan's crew was 100 percent flexible. With these services, unfortunately, I've found that many contractors do things entirely on their schedules, not their customers'. Logan worked everything around my schedule -- exactly as promised. He offered great advice on our design and plant selections, provided samples of our choices, met with us several times before we committed to the project, remained conscious of our requests and our budget and advised us on future expansion and maintenance of the plants.

The landscaper designer, Logan, was very easy to worth with and prompt with his plan and pricing.  The three guys who did the actual work were very nice and professional.  They did a great job cleaning up.  My yard looks beautiful!

The entire process was painless and pleasant.  I always felt like they treated me very well as a customer.  They truly cared about the yard and what I needed. <br /> The landscape design was developed by Logan.  He spent several hours with me to come up with his first design.  Then he personally came out again to review the design and walk the yard to let me know what his suggestions were for all sides of the house.  We tweaked the design quickly.  He revised the design quickly, offered a very reasonable estimate, and was able to get us scheduled within 2 weeks (I called them in late April and they did the work by the first week in May).  The supervisor over the work actually done was very knowledgeable about landscapes and design and plants.  Because of the weather and some additional work that I requested, the clean-up, the planting, and the mulching took about three days.  Everything was meticulously handled - and planted.  The clean-up was incredible.  No branches, leaves, sticks were left.  <br /> And, as I have mentioned before, the follow-up was terrific.  Logan came out several times during the work to make sure everything was going ok.  Then, when the work was done, he came out and walked the yard again with me just to make sure I was satisfied.  Then, after about two weeks, Logan stopped by to see how everything was growing and to make sure that the plants were settling in as planned.  The plants that they planted were good, healthy plants and survived the heat of last summer just fine.  The shade plants and ground cover did well in the shade, as predicted, and the beautiful brown mulch never faded during the season. <br /> I was ecstatic with the service that Trees, Shrubs and More provided.  They are a hidden treasure in the metro area, and I am SOOOOO glad to have found them and used them.  I will definitely be using them again this spring -- to add some new plants, trim existing plants, get rid of a large tree branch that cracked due to a heavy ice storm during the winter -- and, of course, to re-mulch the yard with that beautiful dyed brown mulch.  <br /> If you are looking for a competent, quality, customer-focused company to help you with your yard design at a reasonable price, please give Trees, Shrubs and More a try.  You will be amazed with the results. <br />

They did a great job.  Our landscaping was 30 years old, and they put in all new plants and bushes and our yard is the nicest on the street now.

Rob of Trees, Shrubs, and More came out very quickly when I called for an estimate to redo the landscaping in the front and side of our newly purchased home.  We discussed what I wanted. Within 4 days he offered us a design plan, we made some changes and he explained it would be about 2 weeks before they could do the work. Unfortunately due to the weather it was more like a month before they were able to complete the work.  When they did come out they were professional and quick.  Rob followed up within a day to confirm I was happy and understood how to take care of our new plants.  We are very happy with the new landscaping and the job they did.

In May I spoke to Rob on the phone and he made a in house consultation a few days later. I needed several landscaping issues addressed in front of my house. The ground sloped towards the foundation which would lead to water issues in the future. Plus, the area between the steps and the driveway was barren and eroding. ANd the front lawn lacked a tree. Rob quickly advised us on how to resolve the drainage and erosion issues while being of value aesthetically and financially. Rob provided me with a written bid about two days later. After selecting the brick for the wall, we signed the contract and set the project date for July--due to the busy season their lead time was about six weeks. The project took two days to complete (it started to rain heavy the 1st day so they had to leave early). The workers were neat, polite and productive. They also were very quiet ( I work nights and sleep during the day) and cleaned up their mess after both days. When complete, Rob came by and ensured we were happy with the work (which we were). The terms were Net 10 days (after the project was complete); we paid in full in 30 days without being charged interest. The drainage and erosion issues were fixed and the front of our house looks much better.

On a scale of 1-10, I would give Trees Shrubs & More about a 6. The plant quality was very poor, and I felt I got plants that would soon be on sale items for them. I felt they were very high priced for the work they did. They were very prompt and courteous, but I felt there was no pride of professionalism in the work they did. I really was not happy with the end result, and I did lose several flowers, and 1 tree that I had to replace.

They was able to get my yard exactly the way I wanted it and they made a really good impression on me. I wouldn t dream of using anyone else to do my landscaping. They were very dedicated and very respectful. I really enjoyed the service they provided.

This was not a very big job but it still turned out beautiful. I was impressed with this company and I thought they did really well. I would probably hire them again because I also thought that they were really cheap. They did a good job and I have no complaints.

Trees Shrubs & More are ok. They were prompt and courteous. Their price was very comparable. They were professional. We did have a few issues over the job and I had problems getting them to return my calls. They did come out finally and correct the problems and they did apologize for the delay. Due to the fact that they corrected the problem and apologized, I would probably use them again. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Tree Shrubs and More were very professional. They were prompt, courteous, and were very interested in exactly what I wanted done. They did a very excellent job and cleaned up when they were finished. They were very cautious of my pets running through the yard. The workers were very personable and I felt they took pride in their work. I had done some price shopping and felt they were very competitive.

Trees, Shrubs and More did a pretty good job. One tree needed to be replaced and they did that. The layout wasn't quite to our liking and there were a few things we thought they would do which they didn't, such as installing a weed barrier.
