I had an driveway extension performed on June 5, 2020. After the work was done i made the owner aware it needs to be repaired or corrected for multiple reasons (uneven, soft spots, thin layers). Owner agreed to repair or replace the section. The owner came to the site and assured me this would be repaired or replaced. Since then they have scheduled the repair more than 5 times. Each time they will no show, no call. I have spoken to the owner or scheduler multiple times and each time they will set a new date or promise to show up for repair. I am not receiving any updates or progress from the company. The owner also promised a complimentary seal coat with the repair for my inconvenience.

Initial work was adequate. Follow-up was, well, see attached photos.

Tried to sell us half a truck left over from another job for 1,500. Ended up being less than 1/4 of a load. Horrible to take advantage of people like that. Tried to tell us it was 6,000 worth of asphalt and only did 10 feet into our driveway. Thankfully my husband does construction and we ended up paying 300. Didn't go the actual width of our driveway, pieces everywhere. Looks a mess. Unknown to them we wanted to get our whole driveway done this year and now will not be going with them. They lost out on a lot of money.

My driveway was sloped the wrong way towards the house. The result is water in my garage. The driveway is not even 2 inches in some areas. The cost was originally $8,700 then extra costs were was estimated for the thickness to be 4 inches rather than 2.5 inches which then brought the quote to $10,100. On the day of after all equipment was on site and work was about to begin the owner Robert Stone showed up and stated the job would cost $15,000. Then the price went to $12,000. The original quote was significantly increased. The repairs were promised to be made and were not. The company is a very bad and untruthful company. The blacktop paving job was completed on 7/15/2019. Upon the first rain it was discovered there was a 1.5” low spot holding a massive amount of water. The whole driveway portion in front of my garage is sloped wrong and towards the house. Water flows in the garage. They did come back to make repairs and this made it look horrible for a new driveway. Their remedy to the slope issue was to carve a ditch in front of the garage which still didn’t fix the issue at all and looks horrible. To fix the low spot they put a thin top patch on the low spot which will likely chip up after a year. It looks really bad as well to have a new driveway with a big patch and a ditch.

We are extremely impressed with this company. The owner came last week to give us an estimate and explain exactly what they would do. We have a very large 3 car driveway but they were able to complete the work within a day. Everyone was very professional and well organized and did an outstanding job. We highly recommend Tri County Asphalt!

After 3 other quotes, I decided on Tri County Asphalt. They were able to do our driveway in a time efficient manner. The employees were very hard workers, careful about their machinery and courteous. The owner oversaw the process to ensure the process was completed in the best way possible. The driveway did great over the winter and others in the area have asked who we used since it was done so well. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend them and their team.

Guys were very professional and respectful and did a great job. Nice equipment and were very easy to work with. They did exactly what I asked for the price we discussed. Would highly recommend!
