Mike was such a pleasure to work with! He was extremely responsive and always on time. He saw to it that every detail of the fence was installed with excellence and efficiency, and he coordinated of all the necessary permits. I appreciate his hard work and ownership of the process!

Mike came out in 2020 to put a chain link fence up for us and his bid was the lowest out of 3 quotes we got and he did a great job for us. Last week he came out to put up a wooden privacy fence for us and did another awesome job and was very reasonable on price. Very professional and great to work with, highly recommend!

Mike and his guys poured a 24x30 foundation for a metal building I was installing. They did a great job. I told Mike my daughter had a graduation party 3 day later. They did an excellent job cleaning my yard up when they were done. One month later I had them pour a driveway and a sidewalk. They turned out great as well

He ordered the fence permit before we could even agree to accept his bid so we felt cornered into using him. Fence was completed but gate was not. He blames the microchip shortage for not having the gate opener. It's been 4 months now and we still don't have a working gate. We have repeatedly asked him to prove that the gate opener is on backorder and show documentation of the delay. He has never provided any proof of delays. We have asked him to use another vendor and no response from him. The barb wire is already sagging and gate is stuck in the dirt; we cannot open and close it. He is unprofessional when it comes to communication. He does not reply promptly to multiple emails, texts, and calls. He never kept us updated on when he was planning to come out to complete the fence. We were constantly having to reach out to him to get a response on when the job would be finished. There was always an excuse for the delays. When the gate was delivered, he showed up with his new dog instead of a human helper. My husband and I had to assist in unloading a heavy 30ft aluminum gate. We paid him a total of $28,000 and should not have had to do that. His bid was not itemized after we had asked him to do that from the get-go and there was no formal contract. Lesson learned for me in trusting that other people are honest and will not do you wrong and leave you with an incomplete job. We will never use Angi's list or Home Advisors again for any of our contracting needs. We are so disappointed.

Mike was prompt, professional, and an effective communicator. TriStar arrived early in the morning to install our new fence and finished installation promptly. We were impressed not only by their speed, but also at how well everyone understood and worked at their role in the fence installation. While one gentleman was digging holes, the other was removing the old fence, and the others were carrying in supplies to streamline the process so it went smoothly. We have already received compliments on our newly installed fence and I would be happy to hire Mike and his crew/Tristar to complete other landscaping needs, as well as recommend their fence work to friends, family, and neighbors. The fence work was performed on a wet muddy day. The crew did a good job of not doing damage to the lawn and cleaned up the work area. The crew installed the fence the way that I requested. There is a large dip in the lawn and the crew installed the level across the dip as requested.

Mike and his team did an excellent job from beginning to end! He went over some pricing on different types and let US decide, but also gave his advice. Due to weather, the project had to wait a little longer, but Mike kept in contact and did what he said he was going to do in the initial meeting. We have a very sloping yard and Mike wasn't happy with one of the gate placements and came back out and changed it to make it right. I definitely recommend using Tristar Landscape and Fencing!
