Herman and team were absolutely exceptional! Great to work with, easy to get in contact with and accommodating to project needs. Their crew was phenomenal, courteous and kept all work spaces as clean as possible. The renovations were done with meticulous care and attention to detail. Cannot suggest working with Tristate Contractors enough!

We hired Herman Recalde and his excellent crew to remodel our upstairs master bathroom. They did a great job, and the quality of the work was significantly better than contractors we hired previously for other projects. Herman took his time to understand what we wanted (and didn't want). For example, we chose 2'x2' tiles for the floor and 2'x1' tiles for the shower walls, and they were installed with tight and clean grout lines as we requested. He also made good suggestion that we hadn't considered. His plumber and frameless glass enclosure guys also did great work. Importantly, the quote Herman gave us for the project was competitive and there were no surprises at the end. Actually, we requested some extra work to fix the ceiling in our other bathroom, and they just did it at no extra cost. I didn't observe any short cuts, and all of the work was top quality and with an eye for perfection. Herman and his team earned our trust. I've already recommended them to a friend.

The job was done well and customer service was very good. I do still need some repairs on some of what was done but it is minimal.

The level of respect and professionalism shown to our family and home exceeded our expectations. The work was impeccable. Each member of the team could not do enough to please us in every way. In 30 years, home ownership, have never experienced this level of service. We will be using them again for another job in the near future and will highly recommend.

There is so many amazing things to say about Tristate Contractors! We had a very large renovation we were interested in doing, but didn't quite know how it would work with our current structure. We had a design and architect team that recommended Tristate Contractors and it was the best choice we could have made. Our entire first floor was renovated from top to bottom, including a complete kitchen demo, tearing walls down, new flooring, installing cabinetry, installing fireplace stone, insulation, drywall, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, trimwork, new doors installation, tilework in the kitchen and powder room, a stairway redo and the list goes on. They were able to set up a makeshift space for us in our basement so we had a kitchen to use while the work was going on AND they even helped with an outdoor drainage problem we had in our yard. They completely transformed our house and we couldn't be happier with the result. Tristate Contractors is a company with trustworthy, reliable, kind, knowledgeable and talented people. We will definitely be calling them again for our future needs!

Faaaantastic from day one Herman R was upfront on completion dates and provided progress updates weekly. What I appreciated most was his overall expertise and experience doing what they do. He helped save me money by suggesting different "to dos" along the way and even if I didn't do them it NEVER impacted the quality of the work his team performed.... After my initial engagement I have had Tri State do 2 additional jobs for me and plan on using them for some 2021 work also...

My bathrooms are beautiful. Herman and his team was very professional, gave good design advise and good recommendations. They were very patient, we never felt rush to make decisions. Our satisfaction was a priority to him. We truly appreciate the service.

Painted entire interior of our home including, sanding and sealing woodwork and windows. Our home was built in the eighties, so all of our woodwork was stained and they sanded, sealed and painted it all including the windows. I would recommend them and use them, again.

I worked with Herman from design and they completed demolition of master bathroom including removal of walls down to the studs, installed luxury travertine shower, pedestal tub, cabinets, heater floor and quartz counter tops all the way to completion. All of the employees who worked in our home were incredibly nice and left the work area in perfect condition everyday for the duration of the eight week project. I would recommend highly and use them, again.

The relationship with our previous contractor didn't work out and we hired Herman and his crew to complete the job. <br /> <br /> They were able to start quickly and their work was impeccable. The bathrooms included complicated marble patterns along with granite work. When they came across errors from our previous contractor, they were able to fix them while keeping the project on time.   <br /> <br /> I especially like the work they did on our new hardwood floors. He had to refinish the mistakes from the first contractor and restained it beautifully. We get compliments on it all the time. <br /> <br /> I've renovated multiple historic homes in the past and have had to deal with more than a dozen contractors. Herman was the best to work with by far. The price, timing, and quality could not be beat.

Once we had the estimate the work started quickly.  The workman (Fredy) was polite, tidy, discreet, and showed me how to clean the faucet filters.  I was very impressed with his professionalism. <br />
