The service provided was good. There was just difficulty with communication.  I also bought a gift for my neighbor, who seemed happy with the service also. <br />

They did a wonderful. I would use them again in the future.

I bought this deal on Angie's List.  I would not do it again.  I had several rounds of email with the contact doing the scheduling.  There was never a clear agreement about when they could come.  I wanted to be onsite so I could point out what area of the lawn i wanted done.  The deal was for a smaller area than my full lawn size- i forget if the deal was for 1/4 acre or 1/2 acre, and I have 3/4 total.  Before we could align on dates, they showed up and did the work.  However, the work was not up to my expectation.  Some area's of the lawn were properly aerated, but much of the lawn just had marks on it where the aeration machine ran, but didn't actually penetrate the ground.  Maybe my soil is too hard for it to work properly, I'm not sure.  But if that was the case I should have gotten a phone call about it.  I didn't receive any other communication except a bill.  So my impression is that they did the job too quickly, and possibly didn't have enough weight on the machine to properly work.  There was seed visible, so the overseeding was completed. <br />

Services were provided on the day I requested and completed when I came home.  I was surprised that I did not see as many aeration clumps as I would have expected, which made me feel the process may have been rushed.  It is for this reason alone that I provided my "Good" overall rating. Outside of that, I had no other issues with Tristate Landscaping. <br />

I do not remember the price - but it seemed fair.  However, I had to call to remind the provider of the deal and asked for a date.  I also wanted to make sure they knew what areas to seed and what not to seed. <br /> Before I had a chance to talk to them, they seeded my lawn and actually did more than I thought they would - which is fine, but they seeded area I did not want seeded.  So, overall, they were OK, just could have communicated better. <br />

It went ok.  I don't recall all the specifics because it's been approximately 8 -9 months.  I do remember they got in touch with me quickly but then did not follow up when they said they would.  I also asked for some warning as to when they may come because I wanted to make sure I had time to cut my lawn.  They let me know the day before the scheduled day.  And then didn't come till the next.  I thought it just seemed like an ok job.  I thought the seeding was sparse and the plugs did not look that big.  My lawn did not look any better last fall or this spring. <br />

In the end, we didn’t get the best results. The results weren’t what we had hoped for. We have since hired another provider who were satisfied with.

It was okay. They did they work while I was not at home. The scheduling was fine.

It was okay. There was nothing great. I think he got overwhelmed with the amount of responses and he actually kind of told me that so he didn't come the first time he was supposed to but he came. He was irrigating and seeding so I'm assuming there's gonna be some new grass growing in the next couple of weeks. He definitely irrigated but as far as seeding, I'm assuming he didn't. I don't know for sure as far as if it comes through correctly. It was okay. I didn't meet him in person. It was all over the phone and he did the work while I was at work so I didn't meet him face to face. He seemed all right. He said he was gonna show up one day and didn't so I called him and asked him what's going on and he explained to me he has just gotten so many responses and he got tied up so I gave him a pass on that pretty much and then about a week later, he came and did the work.

We purchaseda deal for aeration and seeding. It took a bit to schedule but we weren't that often on Angie's list to see meesages. We think they did a good job, in fact our neighbours got in touch with them when they were here (we told them about the deal) and received good service at good price as well. <br /> There was a bit of an issue in that I thought that they would come one day and they ended up coming the next one, I had to write an email. It was high season for aeration and seeding so I am sure they were busy. it wasn't a big issue for us but others might like a bit better communication. <br />

they did an OK job. The drawbacks were that I wasn't told when they were going to come out and therefore, could not ensure I gave them appropriate instructions. This proved to be an issue as the whole lawn was not aerated because of lack of communication. <br />

Work went quickly and I was satisfied with the job. <br />

They did a great job. They responded promptly and they were very thorough. They met my expectations. I would recommend them. I would use them again.

Scheduling was not good.  They didn’t come when scheduled.  When they did come out I had to stop them because I had asked them to do the back. I had to hire someone else to do the work.

The service was performed shortly after we ordered it through Angie's List's big deals.  They seemed to have done a good job.  My only knock is that we requested the work be done on a Monday - after I mow and clear the lawn of the debris over the weekend.  We received no response on timing, and they appeared one Saturday to do the work.  From what I'm told that's a less than ideal to have this type of work done.  I just wish I knew they were coming, and I would have prepared differently. <br />

Their visit was unannounced and no one was home so still never had any contact with this company

I was unsuccessful in scheduling a time that we'd be home to observe and discuss the job, but work seemed performed well.

I purchased a deal through Angie's List for aerating and seeding. I gave some suggested dates for the service as requested on the form. I got a response through Angie's list the next day, asking for information about the job and access to my property. I provided that information and then did not hear from TriState. I called and left a message. They did get back to me within a reasonable time but only to tell me I should hear from them in a couple weeks. I didn't. I called them back and they said they were in the process of scheduling the seeding. After another week went by they called in the morning to say they were coming out that day. Luckily they called in the morning and my husband was home to get the call. He stayed hoe to be there when they came to do the work. I preferred someone be home since I've never had them do work before. They came but I do not know what type of seed they used. I cannot comment on the end results since I won't really know until the spring. I realize this was a deal and they probably got more responses than expected, but based on this experience I would not use them in future. <br />
