Please please please do not hire this guy. He showed up (eventually) and did a nice job opening the pool. It was all down hill from there. We asked him for a quote on a new pool cover and a few weeks later he told us it was going to be over $2600. I asked for the measurements and well, you can read the rest in the screen shots I've attached. Keep in mind, we NEVER asked him to order anything, just asked for a quote. He claims he "always wins" not this time, and I hope no one else falls for this dude's tricks. He's a scam artists and shouldn't be allowed to operate anymore.

All work went well and was reasonably priced. Bryan came at the time specified. He opened the pool and installed a new pool pump. He is maintaining cleaning the pool and closing the pool at again a very reasonable price. He is professional, quiet and courteous.

Please save your money and time and do not hire True Blue Pool Services. I paid a deposit and and services were not performed within the agreed time frame. I completely agree with the previous review. Owner Bryan takes more work than he can handle. He takes your money, never gets back to you, you have to call him numerous times to get updates since he rarely returns your calls. He is absolute unprofessional and lacks business ethic. Bryan should have never accepted the job if he knew he would be too busy to finish it within the agreed time frame. It started at the end of April. I found Bryan's add on Facebook and contacted him right away. He came the next day, inspected our existing pool system and told me he would forward me an estimate the next day. I had to ask for estimate a few times until I finally got a text message with the approximate cost, not an official estimate. I didn't mind and informed Bryan that I would like to start the process right away. He said he would need a $2K deposit to order a heater. I gave it to him the next day and asked for a receipt. He said he would drop it off tomorrow and never did. Since then, I have asked for it a a few times and each time he said he would drop it tomorrow and never did. Initially, Bryan said that the whole process will take about 2-3 weeks. 2 weeks later I texted him asking if there were any updates. The answer was "well, the heater is ordered". No dates, no explanations, no nothing. I waited for another 10 days and texted him again. Never responded. Then my husband waited a few more days and called Bryan himself. Bryan said that he was too busy and he would return our deposit in a day or two. Week went by and still heard nothing from him. I texted him asking when to expect our money back. No response. I called him a few times, as did my husband - no response. Another week passed by. I called again, Bryan did not pick up, but sent a text message saying that he was going through some personal problems and didn't have time to go to the bank. I said I was sorry to hear that and I will wait more, but I asked him to understand as well, that all I need is my money back, not more, not less, that I am willing to drive and meet him to take a check or he could send me money via Venmo or Zelle. No response. In 10 days I texted him again. I was asking if he could please give me at least an update on the situation. Also I mentioned that I would really like to resolve this issue peacefully, but if I don't get my deposit by the end of this week, I will be forced to seek resolution in another way. The way he responded was.... it was much more then just unprofessional, rude and arrogant. No one ever told me in my life "go f'''k youself, b''ch". For what? For the fact that I am asking for something that belongs to me? Also he said that threatening him would be the biggest mistake in my life and that I will eventually get my money back WHEN HE HAS TIME. This is what I got in response to all my patience, kindness and politeness. Totally unacceptable. We will see him in a court.

Bryan did an awesome job installing our new pool heater. He recommended some Maintenance to our existing filter and was able to replace parts for a reasonable price. All work we done on schedule and in a timely manner. We will be using him again for any other pool work that we need.

Bryan did a great job on our above ground pool! He came out and gave us an estimate right away. We were made aware how busy he was and that it would be a few weeks until he could get the job done. He came out as scheduled. He was very honest and always called or texted back if we had a question. When he completed the job he even asked if there were any problems or things we did not like about his work. We had no complaints! Our pool looks brand new and we can’t wait to enjoy it this summer! Would highly recommend.

I do not and will not recommend Tru-Blue Pool Services. A deposit was paid, and services were not performed within the agreed time frame. Owner Bryan takes on more work than he can handle. He gladly accepts your deposit, schedules you, never reaches out to his customers, and does not keep scheduled appointments that he agreed upon. He is unprofessional and lacks business ethic. Bryan should have never accepted our project, if he wasn't able to comply with the agreed time frame he set with us. This is our story with Bryan the owner of Tru-Blue Pool services Our first initial contact on April 28th, Bryan showed up within a half hour of receiving our email through Angie's List. The following day, through text message my husband and I agreed on his estimate and choose our liner. On May 3rd I texted Bryan for an available date in which he replied the earliest he could was the week of memorial week. So we venmo our deposit of $550.00 to him and asked for an email copy of the estimate to be sent, but this was never received. On May 11th I contact Bryan again for an actual date, since both my husband and I returned to work, and we wanted to arrange so that one of us could be there, he told he me would let me know as soon as he could. I heard nothing from him until I reached out again on May 19th, and asked again for a actual date. His reply was near the end of next. Week went by and still heard nothing from him. Again I contacted him on May 27th asking if was still coming out to replace the pool liner, he than said that he was behind, and we we pushed back until Monday or Tuesday of the upcoming week ( June 1 / June 2). On Friday May 29th I texted him asking which date he would be out and was given the response that he would let me know later when he returned home. On Sunday morning I texted him that I haven't heard from him and I needed to know if he was coming out, and I asked if we were pushed back another week to refund my full deposit. His text back to me was that he would give my deposit back and that he was one person and we would be charged a restocking fee. I asked what the restocking fee was, and he said he would let me know when he called his supplier the next day. (remind you, there was no information giving in the beginning about a restocking fee, and how can you charge your customer a restocking fee YOUR BUSINESS is unable to comply with the scheduled appointment) I sent another text expressing that it was unfair to charge us a restock fee as this was not our fault. I have contacted him several times about an actual date for service in which he has not provided. We understood that there are unforeseen circumstance that could arise and had he contacted us we would have been a little more understanding. I did mention in my text that if my full deposit was not refunded that I would be in contact with my lawyer and speaking to the better business bureau I will just say that his reply and threats were very unprofessional, rude and arrogant.

Bryan and his assistant Devon were wonderful! Bryan texted before he came and arrived on time. Since this was our first time meeting, I told Bryan everything about my pool and concerns. He listened well and answered all my questions. His work was extremely thorough and professional. I am very pleased with the service he provided and his price and have already written myself a note to re-contact him in April to open our pool. I would urge anyone needing pool service to contact Bryan/Tru Blue Pool Service.
