We hired Cain to do work in our basement in November 2024, in January, he informed us that they were not doing any work any longer and the money we gave him as a down payment would be returned in a few days, it is now April and we have not seen those funds returned. We have found out since that he has a history of taking money under one company name, then stopping after he has your money and opening a new company name. We will be filing a claim against Cain and his companies to recover the money he has taken. We have contacted him many times and not received any response from him. This is a buyer beware company. I would look for someone else before working with him again

Cain will quote a job,take a down payment & then disappears. He will not return phone calls,voicemails, texts, or emails after he takes your money! This is what happened to us along with many other customers. We had a bathroom remodel quoted, made a down payment & then couldn't get ahold of Cain. He also started using his wife Mckenzie for his Trubuild Construction Co. Her number is 608-718-5422. We are looking into a lawsuit along with other customers that experienced the same thing from Cain.

HBC completed a re-siding of an existing shed. There was excellent communication from Cain of HBC. He contacted me soon after I placed my work request on Angie's. He was out to review the job within a few days, and I had a written estimate the next day. Work on our shed started the next week. Cal would text to let me know the arrival time of the crew. The HBC crew worked throughout 2 days to complete the job. The job site was cleaned up before they left. The shed looks great!

Cain was friendly, kind, and professional. I had such a small "honey-do" list, but he treated me with as if I had a remodeling contract with him! HBC is providing such a needed service to those of us who need minor repairs done around the house and we can't do them on our own. Now, I know who to call, and that will be HBC!

Cain and his crew came and did a great job mounting my TV above my fireplace and installing an electrical outlet. They were fast and easy to work with. They answered all my questions and made sure everything was working before they left. I would definitely recommend!
