We have been in business for over 20 yrs providing deck, fence, patio construction, restoration and maintenance services. We are also the founders of the PressureLess cleaning & preservation system using a low pressure washing method. They were friendly and professional.
All the things that I used to do (I built the deck they sealed!), I can no longer do in my old age. They even helped to clear the tables and chairs.
I only wish they had a service to come back after it dried and replace the furniture.
Overall, everyone did a great job, including the home office !

Large deck work: company replaced rotten boards; cleaned entire deck surface and railings; restained surface. Did a great job. One of my sons said it looked like a new deck. Reasonable price for the job.

We had had an excellent experience with the predecessor to TrueDecks almost a decade ago so asked for our Ipe wood balcony to be cleaned and re-stained after being away from our house for several years. The customer service is responsive and efficient, although they clearly get busy in the spring/summer season, and also have to account for weather. Likely because the decking was so overdue for refinishing, the first coat really didn't suffice. The crew came back for a second round and the finished product looks excellent, just as dark as I recall from years ago. They were polite, careful, and timely...and also worked independently (only using a ladder to access the second-story balcony/deck!). We were pleased by TrueDeck's responsiveness to our concerns about the first coat and very happy with how it was resolved. (Sort of before and after photos below.). We will definitely use them again to keep our deck in good shape going forward.

Working with TrueDecks was a great experience. We solicited a lot of quotes (10+) from various deck companies in the Northern Virginia area. We previously had a terrible experience with a local contractor, and we wanted to make sure our next experience went smoothly. What made TrueDecks different was the confidence and professionalism of the team throughout the process. From our initial request for a deck proposal, to the design, to the proposal receipt and working financing options, TrueDecks staff were all very easy to work with and provided concrete answers all along the way. Once construction began, I was overwhelmed with the speed and determination the team took in tearing down the old deck, cleaning up, and installation of the new deck. The team showed up everyday on time, worked a full day, cleaned up afterwards and left the site in great shape, ready for the next day. After the construction was done, I was very impressed with the craftsmanship!

The owner of TrueDecks took the time to come to our house to discuss our vision for our new deck and screened-in porch, created plans that met our goals, and then ensured that the architect prepared detailed plans and drawings. The team at TrueDecks followed the lengthy permitting process through completion and prioritized our project, so that it would be completed in time for us to enjoy the warm weather. Pavel and his team were truly excellent, and were flexible in modifying plans to meet our needs. When the project was complete, TrueDecks gave us the option to clean the exterior of our home so that it would look great with our new deck and porch.
