Guys did a great job putting windows i'll well recommend to other.

It started out well.  However, as the project progressed what we had in the contract and were told would be completed was not.  No matter what was done to cover up the A/C unit outside they would move the object and walk all over the lines.  Which I had to call a heating/cooling provider to come and repair.   When the remodel of the bathroom started and they tore everything out (except the tub, it wasn't being replaced) it took over 3 days and the demolition still wasn't done.  None of the workers showed up on any type of schedule.  They didn't cap the toilet opening so it was full of debris and a plumber had to be called since I could not get all of the debris out.  After 3 days the demolition wasn't done (bathroom is maybe 10x6).  Then then "nickel and diming" started.  Everything began to cost extra.  At the point the project was going over budget my mom requested the contract be cancelled.  Some of the windows were still laying outside on the ground.  The full price was paid and none of the work was completed.  Also, for some reason they took down a security sensor and now matter how many times they were contacted they wouldn't return it so a technician from the security company had to come out, which also costed for the service call.   *** This happened to my elderly parents who live in the home adjacent to my yard.  My mom and I discussed this in detail as to whether or not she wanted this on here because she was actually afraid of some type of retaliation.  But she decided to let me put this on here because she doesn't want the same thing happening to anyone else.  Make sure your contract is specific details, VERY SPECIFIC.  Everything they tell you they will do should be written down.  We were foolish to not do so, but the company should have honored what they said. <br /> ******************************************************************** UPDATE ******************************************************************* Retaliation is here! Sale and installation went as contracted.  Extremely happy with results. <br />

We paid 50% down by certified cashiers check on Nov. 12, 2015.  It was cashed the next day. <br /> <br /> The painters did a wonderful job but the rest of the project was not good. <br /> <br /> The windows took twice as long as we were told to come in.  And when they came in they did not have the grids between the glass as we ordered. (we finally received the correct sashes with grids between the glass after 5 months.) <br /> The window installers worked for 5 days and then packed their tools and left.  We left voice messages and emails for Jim with no response. <br /> <br /> We ended our contract with True Value Builders and our project remains unfinished. <br /> <br /> We would definitely not recommend True Value Builders nor would we hire them again. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
