Jim Cunningham arrived on time, verified our concerns, and got right to work diagnosing the problem. He snaked a camera through a clean-out valve through our sewer line and found two problems, a belly, and tree roots blocking the line. He showed us the film his camera took of the problem areas in our sewer line and carefully explained what we were seeing, how the problems had happened, and options for repair. He understood the need to clear the tree roots immediately and arranged for a truck with the proper equipment to come to our house the same day. He also promised he would provide a written proposal to repair the belly. Brandon came on time later in the day towing equipment on a trailer behind a truck and removed the tree roots blocking the line. And the proposal to repair the belly also came when Jim promised. We have not yet started the work on the belly. All of my interactions with Trusted Plumbing and Heating were excellent, including the receptionist and dispatcher. Both men that came to our house were professional and helpful. They listened carefully to our concerns and answered fully. They were considerate of our home, furnishings, and landscaping. They impressed all of us.

It went very well, turns out the furnace needed a simple inexpensive part. That was a relief, less than $20.00. The plumbing issues were easily resolved. We've worked with both Jim and his sons and find them to be extremely integrous, generous and trustworthy.

It seems that this business has been going around trying to get my review(s) posted across various websites removed on account of spurious, false claims AND/OR minimizing and invalidating my CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. I definitely do NOT appreciate ageist AND misogynist/sexist-tinged comments, which is highly UNPROFESSIONAL at best. I was/am the sole assistant manager/principal office administrative assistant who especially deals with correspondences with companies and businesses that we are/have been served by. I fully represent and speak on behalf of persons who were on site AND the persons who were billed and paid for this repair. Trying to silence me/my reviews are extra reprehensible ON TOP OF the prior awful service experience. No amount of their excuses on account of the type of company and their practices, not to mention their sly attempts to silence my reviews while commenting publicly disrespectfully and dismissively of me where they can, will negate that. It seems like this company has been similarly challenging low-stars, negative reviews of other former customers. Instead of trying to "hush up" truthful albeit reviews they don't like, perhaps Trusted Heating Plumbing would do better to re-examine its policies, rates, practices and etc. and work on just HOW to improve and REMEDY their wrongs. This company was hired Summer-Fall of 2016** for a replacement of two pipe complement/joint parts, made out of plastic PVC, underneath a sink. The service person was in and out in approximately 30 minutes. Imagine our unpleasant surprise when we were to pay a total amounting to several hundreds of dollars for such a quick, simple repair. They didn't even bother with a properly itemized invoice first. In addition, some of the contact information was posted incorrectly on their website (I do hope they fixed it by now after I told them), and the (trade?) license number listed as part of their official business heading is so small and almost illegible. No business license number was listed on the invoice I received or their website, so I took the pains to go through the local** government to get those numbers myself. After some exchange of communications across various channels such as over the phone and emails a good amount of time, this company excused their practices on account of being a "Flat rate company," but after consulting few other local professionals in this service area, it rather feels like** this business is clearly pushing stuff on and overcharging their unknowing customers and getting away with it. I/my reviews does not seem to be alone, as** echoed by several other reviews I have now seen and read across various review sites. So I recommend prospective customers just to be aware and careful.

We were provided this company by another Angie's list plumbing service. When we called we were given a morning time frame (8am -10am) that was moved out by two hours within a short period of time. On the morning of the service (due to arrive between 10-noon), we heard nothing from the company be 12:30, so initiated a call. We were promised someone within an hour. By 3pm we called again and were told it was an unusual day, but that someone would be there in 30 minutes. An hour later, technicians arrived. We understand delays and all this frustration could have been avoided by simply communicating with us. Once the technicians were onsite, the job went very quickly.

They did it quickly. I was not thrilled with price which was in retrospect was pretty high. I am no expert but from what I can tell they did the job adequately. The texturing on the cement fill in was not up to my standards but as they explained they are not concrete experts even tho they work with concrete. I was also a little irritated that after speaking to the son and the dispatch lady and arriving at plans of action I get an unfriendly call from the Dad when I was in the doctors office who apparently micro manages every aspect of the business and he informed me that only he had the authority to authorize anything. I had paid half up front and agreed to a payment plan for the balance with the son and after an unpleasant call from the Dad (while I was at the doctor) where he basically accused me of trying to rip him off, he agreed to a payment plan and then refused to invoice me. It made it very difficult for me to know when a payment was due, which I found unprofessional of them.

Many plumbers were not available and this company was recommended by another plumber. They came out the same day even though it was not an emergency. I had siding going in and the leak I had needed to be taken care of quickly. Friendly, professional, helpful. I thought the price was high but I don't really have a reference for that. Everything was done as I wanted and looks great. He even noticed my water heater was getting old and suggested I look into it so that I didn't get a leak. I would use them again.

James recently replaced a 50 year old furnace that was built into our tight crawl space. James removed the old furnace, and worked well into the night customizing the new furnace and ducting to fit into the space. It was a challenging job, and he worked very hard and thought out of the box to get it done. He did a great job and we were impressed with his knowledge and skill. James has also replaced our water heater and removed and replaced our old galvanized pipes in the past. We like him, trust him, and will continue to use James and Trusted Plumbing and Heating in the future! Highly reccommend!
