After 30-years since building our home it was time for a major kitchen/1st floor gut and renovation. Being an engineer in construction I am familiar with the electrical skill set that is required to properly perform this challenging and complex work. Impressive is the best way to title this review. This company was for my third estimate on the purchase of a generator. From the first call and speaking with Maria and visits to my residence with Ioanni, my wife and I were very satisfied with estimates, contact with the office about installation and permits, and delays due to weather and Covid. Impressed is the way we felt on the day the generator was installed. We have never seen a crew work so hard to see that the client was satisfied. From helping with landscaping at the location of the unit, to making sure that none of our gardens were disturbed, Joe and the whole crew made sure my every request was made to ensure our satisfaction. I highly recommend TSD for a complete job. From permits to the final instructions and cleaning up, they are very Impressive!

More important than the quality of the product is the quality of the people you deal with. Meeting Ioanni who gave us the proposal to Joe, Zack and others who installed the product in one day was a very pleasant experience. Everybody was professional, honest and treated us with respect. Also my compliments to Maria who answers the phone and kept us informed on the timetable for the work schedule. She is a great representative for your company, In summary they are a great team to deal with. Highly recommended.

All went very well. Yannie (Owner) is a tenacious salesman and a man of his word. After negotiating a deal, everything except the weather went like clockwork. His crew did great job on the mechanical, gas plumbing and electrical installation. I was especially impressed with the rewiring of the of the main electrical panel which turned out to be as neat as a pin and far better than it was when they started. A few weeks following the install I received a call from TSD saying they wanted to schedule a time come back as the Internet connection was not working properly. This functionality reports the generator status to TSD on a continuing basis. As I had no knowledge of this, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Yanni's promise of proactive maintenance was spot on. Staff was informed and responsive. They cane when promised and worked diligently to completion. They cleaned up the area affected.

Everything with TSD was excellent. I left a message with them and my call was returned the next day. They were able to schedule an early appointment for me the following morning. Two electricians called one hour before my appointment to confirm then texted about 15 minutes before they arrived to alert me they were on their way. They both wore shoe covers in the house and were extremely friendly and helpful. They replaced the switch and fixed the light fixture in about 25 minutes. They were very professional and I would certainly hire them again.

Great! The switch I bought to replace the old one that wasn't working well anymore wasn't able to be used. So, Josh changed the living room light switch to the new one and replaced the kitchen light switch for a three way switch. What made this so great is that they are the only company that I was able to get to help me get my lights back on in my kitchen as everyone is so very booked. I appreciate them being able to fit me into their schedule and get this done for me so quickly. I only just called them yesterday and they were here today.

I will definitely hire Ioannis again!! He went above and beyond for the work that needed to happen right after a big storm, in icy conditions. We had our electrical line knocked down during the last big storm in Boston, fortunately we still had power so it wasn't an extreme emergency but it obviously needed to get fixed as soon as possible. Cutting the line would mean no power to run our heater and with 2 small children in the house I wanted to make sure we wouldn't get frozen out of our home. Ioannis went above and beyond by coming out to the house that evening to check the line and see what needed to be done. He then showed up the next morning with his crew and replaced the line and worked with the power company to get it re-attached as soon as possible (only about 2 hours). He also called us later that evening to make sure that the power was reconnected and working properly. I really appreciated his work ethic and responsiveness. I will definitely hire him again when I need electrical work.

Came by my house early evening after an all day job somewhere else just to evaluate the problem. He instead, with his helper, solved the problem and installed a thermostat I had bought within an hour or so. TSD is now my go to electrician.

Ioannis did a fantastic job! He worked quickly and everything looks great and functions well. He also involved us in decisions as they came up and clearly explained what was going on, which we really appreciated. It took some time to confirm a date and firm price, but once Ioannis and his team arrived everything was smooth. Ioannis and his team were professional and friendly. They do not remove trash from the job, but did clean up well and left the trash and old fixtures in bags and boxes. We will absolutely work with Ioannis again.

I couldn't be happier with Ioannis and my experience with TSD Electric! I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND this service to anyone looking for an electrician. I have worked with two electricians in the past and didn't have great experiences with either- I am very glad I finally met Ioannis, I will always hire him for any future electrical work I need done. He was so professional, polite, patient, and friendly- he always showed up on time (or 5 minutes early!) and was very responsive to communication via email or phone. He was honest and upfront about everything, he did a great job on the walk-through and gave a very accurate and appropriate estimate of what the project would entail (his estimate was also spot on in terms of how long the work would take and how much it would cost- you will know what you are getting into if you hire Ioannis and TSD Electric!). Ioannis worked to fit us in as soon as he could, and was great at communicating regularly to let me know what his schedule as looking like and when he might be able to come by to work. He completed all of the work we needed in about 8 hours and everything was done perfectly. His work was fast, high quality, and carefully done. We came home that day to a perfectly clean home with all the electrical projects perfectly done. I was especially thrilled with the amazing job he did hanging my new kitchen light fixture- the fixture is very heavy and has multiple lights hanging down, and must have been very difficult to move and hang centered over the kitchen island (see picture). But it looks exactly how I wanted it to look, and it's very reassuring to know that it was installed correctly by someone who knows what they are doing! Ioannis did a great job on everything and it was a pleasure working with someone so respectful and considerate. I could not be happier with the experience I had working with him and TSD Electric. Ioannis promised to get the job done in a weekend but got it done in one day.  So he beat his estimate.  His price was lower than others and came highly recommended.  He left the place spotless and was very professional.   <br /> I will definitely use his services again. <br />

We were very impressed (as we have been before) with Mr. Poimenidis professional level of service. His concern for safety is obvious. We will work with him on improving the wiring in our house. <br />

I was awakened yesterday morning very early by a smoke alarm.  There was no smoke and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off.  I went onto Angie's List to look for an electrician.  I called Ionnis' number because he was local and had received great reviews.  I did not realize it was his home number.  His wife answered and was amazing, concerned and helpful.  He was already on a job in Newton, she contacted him and let me know he would stop in as soon as he could.  He was there within an hour, assessed the problem and offered to return the next morning to replace our old, outdated, and malfunctioning smoke detectors.  He did not charge me for the initial visit.  He came today, exactly when he said he would come, with another electrician and completed the job quickly and efficiently and at a reasonable cost.  He also showed me how to clean and maintain the detectors.   He is great to work with and I plan to use him whenever we have an electrical problem. <br />

Ioannis returned my call quickly, showed up promptly, and completed the work in a thoroughly professional manner. If I have any need for future electrical work, I will call him without a moment's hesitation. <br />

Ioannis was very helpful in explaining what I would be able to do in my house, due to old plaster work and construction issues. He really understood the entire house electrical system. I am confident that his work is extremely safe, which is the most important thing with electrical work. <br />

Ioannis and his helper arrived right on time and did an excellent job installing the two lights and running the additional power line. They did a great job in cleaning up after themselves and in touching up any surfaces that were affected in the process of completing the work. Ioannis had the great idea of running the new line around the frame of my new prehung entry door which saved me money as well as damage to the walls or ceiling!

Awesome at every step. Within an hour of leaving a message for Ioannis, he called to set up his coming by for an estimate later that day. He showed up on time and set a fair price. He came just when he said he would the following day and did a beautiful job, leaving the room cleaner than when he arrived. <br /> I will use him in a flash for my next electrical job! <br />

Great, needed to get done fast as this was an inspection item that came up when we were selling house. <br />
