Tubs R us NY

Falcon arrived 2 hours later than agreed. The work done was not good. He put expandable spray foam under the tub, which deformed the bottom and created an uneven and bowed surface. The crack that he fixed also isn't good. He told me it would be smoothed over and covered by the glaze. It is not, and shows through. Also, after about a week it's starting to crack. The glaze is not applied eveningly. It pooled in one corner, due to the deformation of the bottom of the tub, and bubbled in another spot. Because of the bottom of the tub is raised, water doesn't drain well. He also didn't seal the drain well, and there is glaze on the chrome of the tub drain, and pieces of foam and other trash stuck inside the drain, so the water doesn't drain well there either. There are also imperfections in the glaze on the tub edge, and drip marks on the side. There is also over-spray on my floor tiles. I noticed these right away and Falcon told me he could come back to buff it out. I have left several messages, text and voicemail, to no response. Falcon told me the glaze has a 3-year warranty, but I doubt I'll see him or hear from him again. I regret that I paid in cash, and didn't insist on getting a receipt. What a waste of money for a job poorly done, and I don't have the option to dispute the charge. I do not recommend this company.

Falcon swooped in and skillfully reglazed our bathtub. Scheduling and communication was super easy, price was right, and Falcon himself is a gem of a guy — my husband and I had a great time chatting with him. Oh! And the bathtub looks gorgeous. They came to the the house on time and were very professional. I never expected my bathtub to look brand new again but they made it happen. Great job!

It went well and the tub looks great, so much so that I don't want to use it. They didn't have to demolish anything, and the good part was that they cleaned up after themselves. I Iove the look and want to keep it forever.
