Troy was very professional. worked hard and his cuts were on point. he did miss a couple of spots, but immediate came back out to finish the job

If he would have just showed up on time, or showed up like he said he would, it would have made the experience for me a lot better.

Painter arrived late first day without informing me (arrived at 1140 AM instead of scheduled 8-9 AM). Second time he again came very late (1145 AM) after telling me that he would be there shortly. Hard to reach the painter. Not impressed with the work at all. Most importantly, I believe that he is too slow.

"Check out my work ... www.tuckersdecorating.com I had spent 2 days at the homeowners home. The offer was only for one day. (8hrs) I cannot finish all 20 exterior windows (2nd story) in 8 hrs. I also had offered to come back to finish for additional work but was not taken up on my offer. I believe my prices are fair and I always encourage more estimates just to make sure. It worked out fine. He didn't have the necessary ladder and or platform for the job so I was able to assemble some things I had for him to do the job. If I hadn't had that equipment he would not have been able to do the job.

We had spoke and I thought we had agreed you had the necessary equipment to get the job done. This is really the only reason that I didnt feel a need to bring double of the same ladders and setup. I hope I did not inconvenience you for our arrangement. I enjoyed the work put in and consider it time well spent. It was a true pleasure chatting with you and your wife and getting to know my customers. I try very hard to set the bar high for my work. I bought a special deal for $250 for 8 hours of outdoor painting. The deal was for mostly the labor as I also had to buy the paint. I bought a gallon of outdoor paint for $44 before the project was to begin. The painter was to be at my house by 9am to begin the work. He was timely, looked around, and set up pretty much right away. Around 11:15 he then told me that the gallon of paint would not work because it would drip and he felt that it would not look good. I had to send my husband out for spray paint at that point. I was able to have the front shutters completed after that. The shutters were taken down, painted, and put back up. The positives: my appointment was made quickly, the owner was very polite while dealing with him to set up appt and while he was here, shutters were taken down and put back up, the paint does look good on the shutters The negatives: I wasted money on a gallon of paint that cannot be used, I wish that there was a way for the painter to come and tell you the information before so you are not wasting money, the painter was there for 2 hours before letting me know he couldn't use the gallon and when you pay for a certain time limit, that is important, when he left, I walked around to the side of my house and there was black spray paint all over the lawn -

"Yes ! I will not forget the sunny front door that I did. Bright yellow, I really liked it. I am sorry to hear about the negatives. I am sorry you were out the $44 for the gallon of paint. Nobody likes to feel like they are wasting money or throwing it out the window. I do often try to procure some sort of photos before hand. Especially in today's day and age of cellphones it is usually not difficult. I do touch base with each and EVERY one of my customers before the work begins simply because every job that I do is unique. My apologies if I had not asked for any photos before hand. Your concerns are very legitimate and are noted. In regards to the paint on the lawn. It is now gone. Lawns get cut. But I do still have the drop cloth that I used that day. I look forward to working for you and your husband again. I do not have ANY complaints. It was time & effort well spent. I still would like to finish the additional shutters on the home as I believe you like my work. Please let me know. Thank you again for the opportunity !"

It went fantastic. Troy was neat and respected the house. He didn't talk a lot which I like. Sometimes the talking gets in the way of the work. He did more than what was asked and he is definitely is a true craftsman of his work. I could not be happier. If you need painting done, you should really try him. I would not hesitate to have him back. Excellent experience.

"Sounds like you were a bit disappointed. I take this very serious and I always want to make good for my customers. I really do try hard to go above & beyond my customers expectations. I suppose the only thing I can say is that the amount of work in your basement was well over 8 hours. This is simply a special that I offer. It is only for 8 hours. There is also the issue of going from opposites sides of the spectrum. COMPLETE Opposites The doors I painted were "white". We had went a "black" semi-gloss. The only way to cover is several coats, unfortunately there is no way around this. I believe my customers enjoy when I take a little extra time with their specific details. I never want to view my work as a race. However I do often have very specific time frames to work with. I enjoy the time spent with each and every customer, please let me know if anything needs any touch-ups or I can help with the completion. Thanks again for reaching out to me on Angieslist"

We bought this through an AL special -- prepaid. Tucker never followed up. Finally after two emails he said he had no record of the sale. I sent him The confirmation number. Took him ten days to get back. We set a date which he then canceled. I had to send two more emails before we rescheduled. It was now past the 30 day refundable period. He canceled again 12 hours before he was scheduled to show up. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY --you will be ripped off. What a scum.
