At Tucson Mold Inspectors we pride ourselves on doing a quality job. We do not do any remediation, nor are we associated with any remediation company so we can give you an honest, unbiased inspection on your home. During a complete mold inspection, we will inspect your entire home looking for areas of current or past moisture intrusion, mold growth, or conditions conductive to mold growth. With our inspection we include two samples, either two air samples or two surface samples that we will send to a laboratory to evaluate the microbial content. I took a test and found out that I had mold in my body, at high levels. So, I wanted to know if there was mold in my home. Alex did a thorough job of analyzing my home, and saw a few areas in the kitchen (sink and dishwasher area) that was suspicious. So, she took three samples to send for lab testing. I did end up with high counts of Chaetomium mold where the dishwasher slides in. (I did have my dishwasher leak in the past). This mold (although not the worst mold like Stachybotrys) can contribute to autoimmune diseases and MS, so Alex recommended that I get that area remediated. I think EVERYONE should get their home inspected for mold.

We were buying our home and wanted a third party company test to see if there is mold before we closed. We did not want a company that treats mold as we have found them to be untrustworthy in the past and quick to diagnose mold and treat. Luckily she did not find any mold after doing a very thorough inspection in our home. She was able to give us tips and tricks to deter mold and other toxins growing in our home long term. Definitely would use Tucson Mold Inspectors again and would highly recommend to any buyers wanting a third party inspection.
