Fantastic!

As of July 31, 2017 no work has been completed. I'm still waiting (even though I requested that the job be completed on or before July 31). I contacted Ultimate Custom Painting shortly after making my Angie's List purchase (by e-mail and by phone) and was assured that I was on the painter's schedule - but so far, no work or response. Very disappointing - both Angie's List for listing this deal (the Special Deal has already been paid to Angie's List), and the lack of response from the painters.

it could not have gone any better, the only mistake they made was not taking a before & after picture to add to the company web page. the painters could not have been nicer all in all it was really great. thanks guys.

What an incredible experience it was to work with Dan and his staff! The work that they did was absolutely excellent in every way and far, far exceeded what any other painter was willing to do for us. I am always nervous about lead around my young children, and told them that up front. They said, "Don't worry," and they were right; they were neat as a pin and didn't spread a speck of dust where it shouldn't be. For all this excellent work, they actually charged far LESS than I would have paid for other painters. I would absolutely recommend them!

The owner always returned calls/e-mails promptly and professionally. The painter did a very good job of fixing up small flaws in the surfaces before painting and took pride in a job well done. The room looks great! I will hire them for work on other rooms in the future.

I'm so happy with how things look now. I know a great deal of attention was paid to prepping the old walls and tons a bad paint jobs from before ( the house is 100+ years old!) but it was worth the time it took, as the spaces are smooth and quite refreshed.

Perfectly! The guys did the room in one day - base coat and two coats. Even though I created a drama by transposing Sherwin Williams numbers, they were still able to make the correction and finish the room that day!

Rick returned my calls promptly, came to my home right away to give me an estimate, and got us scheduled quickly. He went out of his way to accommodate our schedule when we were having some plumbing work done and we needed his help. I highly recommend Ultimate Custom Painting and have referred him to my friends!

These guys are absolutely amazing when it comes to the profession of painting. They make it look effortless as they work their way room to room. The employees are very courteous and are very respectful of your belongings. I can't tell you how happy we are with their work. They have effectively transformed our house into a new home. We will not hesitate to bring them back to finish our house once we complete our other renovations. I did not include photos because I don't think they adequately reflect the quality of their work.

They did real good. They took a lot of pride in their work. They did stuff beyond what I thought they were going to do. They sealed everything. They did two coats of paint and I know they did it throughout every room and hallway. That was something I did not expect. They said they were going to do it and so, they did it.

This was a fantastic experience. My initial call for a bid was responded to very quickly. The work did take longer than initially planned, but this was because the prep needed was pretty intensive. Communication was easy and the work faultless. Adaptations that hat to be made because of a 100+ year old house were easily and fairly discussed and negotiated. I was so comfortable with them right away, they had a key to the house. The only possible reason I would not want to recommend them, is that you will read this and want to hire them.... and then I will have trouble getting scheduled with the rest of my projects! They use only Sherwin Williams, which should tell you their professionalism and goal to make the completed project last a long time.

Rick and his crew did a great job. Showed up right on time and finished in a day. Ultiamte Custom Painting really went above and beyond. They treated my home as if it were their own. Staff was very professional, polite and dedicated to their work. I would hire them again for any painting needs.

We think that it would be impossible to find painters who are more skillful, more dedicated to the customer's satisfaction, and easier to work with than the Ultimate Custom Painting team (Rick, Dan, Erik, and Rome). This was the third time that we have hired UCP to do interior work; and we did so because we had such positive experiences the first two times.  Once again we were thrilled with the outcome.  Our house was built in 1928 with large baseboards and window trim, crown mouldings, lots of nooks and crannies, and (lovely but hard to paint) textured plaster.  It is not, in other words, an easy house to paint.  On top of that, the areas that UCP painted on this visit hadn't been painted in at least 12 years; there were settlement cracks in the plaster, areas of peeling paint, and lots of prep work required.  And prep work, in our view, is what identifies the real professionals.  UCP patched plaster, scraped numerous areas where peeling had begun, sanded, primed, repatched, resanded and reprimed as needed.  For every hour that they painted they must have spent 4-5 hours in prep work.  And did I mention that they did this, to accommodate our crazy schedule, working full days from Friday through Monday (i.e., including Saturday and Sunday) on two successive weekends, arriving promptly first thing in the morning.  Indeed, this schedule added a certain complexity to cleanup (since we had, for example, to use the kitchen between visits) but they managed the juggling act with great skill and good humor.  The final results is fabulous.  Everyone who comes into the house comments on how great everything looks; and we can only smile and agree.  We still have some exterior work and a couple of interior rooms to do and there is no doubt that we will call UCP when the time comes. Highly, highly recommended! <br />

Great work. Moved most of the heavy items in the basement, epoxy finish looks amazing. Third floor room went from blue, orange, purple and lime green child's room to a neutral any age bedroom. They tinted the primer for best coverage of old color, two coats of paint. Instead of just touching up the baseboards as we agreed, they repainted them completely so the finish would look better. This is the second job they've done for us. Wonderful company! <br />
