Jim was super responsive and gathered all the needed Info up front to have everything he needed to hang our new TV. He was quick, reasonably priced and did a great job! He was able to hide the wires behind the dry wall and the TV looks awesome! We would definitely use him again for any future needs.

Jim was fantastic and installed a large tv into a natural stone fireplace while relocating the mantle. It looks fabulous and took less time than he quoted. Don’t hesitate to look at him for you next project

Jim was fantastic. Super busy but still took the time to come out on a weekend morning to complete the job before our furniture arrived. I would highly recommend Jim and will hire again for all of my home theater needs.

Jim arrived and went right to work. He determined the best place for the tv and put up the bracket and hung a surge protector behind the tv for Roku and Fire Stick. Dropped HDMI and Ethernet needed for my TiVo. Everything was working and he cleaned up after himself.

this is the 3rd time I've hired Jim and I've been very happy every time.

Highly recommend. Jim was knowledgable and easy to work with. At his advice, we ended up purchasing a sound bar to enhance the sound quality in our space and I'm so glad we did. It has made a big difference. On the day of install he showed up on time and provided the mounting equipment needed. He ran all the wires through the wall up to the attic and back down again and even helped us connect IR extenders so all the wires are hidden and all the components are neatly tucked away in a cabinet next to the fireplace. He then attached the sound bar to the tv and mounted both over the fireplace. The end result looks and functions great.

Jim, the owner, was personally involved in designed and installing a fairly complicated home theater and home office.

His crew had to install several units throughout the house. Of particular note, he installed an connected a home office that required hard wiring, due to the confidential nature of medical records. He relied upon his extensive home building background in ensuring the end result was aesthetically pleasing, not merely functional.

We are extremely pleased with his work.

Some of my 77 year old father-in-law A/V system speakers had been disconnected by a remodeler, and needed to be hooked up correctly so he could listen to his stereo, and to check the rest of the setup. He was suppose to be there at 3:30 pm. He called at 4:30 saying he was running late and showed up about 5 pm. He did hook up the speakers but forgot to connect the subwoofer. He switched some cables on the DVD and in the process shrunk the picture of his home security camera system. Both had full size pictures before that.

I went over there a few days later, and found that my father-in-law still could not listen to his stereo. He had left many unused wires and cables unhooked.

I called Jim who said everything worked while he was there and that the shrinking picture of the security system was normal (even though it wasn't previously). I asked him why he left all the unused wires and cables and his answer was that I did not ask him to straighten everything up behind the system. Jim recommended I buy a new Onkyo receiver because he was familiar with it that the Sony was more difficult as he could not get any stations on the Sony.

He said he could come back Saturday and clean up the wiring. He selected the time as 9 am and asked that I be there. At 10:15 am I called him and asked where was he. He said he had something to do with his kids and was running late and had sent me an email, even though he had mine and my father-in-laws phone numbers. (I don't have a smart phone and my computer was at home). He said he was on the way and would be there in about 15 minutes (11/2 hours late) and I said ok. My father-in-law said forget it. I then called him back and told him the same just forget it, I'll get someone else.

Not at all dependable. Keeping a 77 year old stroke victim, and myself, waiting an hour and a half each time past the agreed upon time. Very disappointed with work especially after reading al the excellent reviews. I wonder if the reviews are legit or some of his family members making posts. Will not recommend to anyone.

Response from ULTIMATE IN-HOME THEATER INC
"As I had never experienced a negative review in the 9 years I have been in business, I felt a response was in on order for this negative review. I was running late from another job and had previously told the customer I would try to be there at the scheduled time but had other appts which may run over. The customer ask me to get everything working again on his fathers home stereo/home theater receiver since they had had a remodel and the re-modeler had disconnected everything. I toned out all four ceiling speakers, center speaker and two outside 2nd zone speakers and assured they were all connected correctly. I ensured the subwoofer was connected properly and working and that the other components were connected also. There was a Brighthouse cable box, a dvd/cd player and a camera dvr for the outside cameras. The receiver did not have a pass-thru hdmi pass-thru system like the newer receivers have (I had suggested the customer upgrade the receiver prior to me doing the work) but he decided to continue to use this one. When I arrived, the DVD was not providing a picture (no video), but the CD (the sound side of the unit) was working. The camera DVR was connected into the video port of the TV providing less than HDMI quality and not allowing the DVD to operate nor show a DVD picture (because it was not connected). I connected the camera DVR to the HDMI port on the tv and connected the DVD to the video port of the tv as it should be. Now the DVR was showing the camera video in HD quality, although the video was a little smaller picture, and the DVD now showed video, which, before I arrived, was not working at all. I was having issues with the radio tuner picking up anything but local FM channels and needed some info on resetting the tuner. The customer had installed an outside antenna which did not seem to be picking up much of anything and the only thing working on the tuner was the preset stations, none of which were picking up broadcast. I later asked the customer to provide me with the manual for the unit so I could later reset it. When you work with a customers older equipment, you expect and experience issues unforseen...equipment not working correctly or outdated technology...I could not assess which this was at the time. The customer had asked me to cleanup the wiring mess behind the unit, not “clean” up the dirt and dust on the back of the equipment. It wasn't that bad but it also wasn't something I quoted him I would do. I did bundle some of the wiring and pushed some of the unused cabling out of the way. When I finished, the DVD, TV, cable, camera DVR and radio (one or two stations) and the outside speakers were now working. I showed his father how to make everything work with the remotes. I was asked what he owed me, paid me and I left, letting him know that I was available should he need help. A couple of days later, and after receiving the receiver manual by email, the customer called me (not the father) to tell me nothing was working, and later emailed me telling me he had ordered a new receiver to replace the old one, which meant I would need to disconnect and reconnect everything. We set up the new appt for the following Saturday morning at 9:00. Saturday came...I called the customer at 8 but got a “all circuits are busy” message so I emailed him immediately telling him I would be there around 10 instead of 9. I later found out, that although he had been emailing me, it was not on a smartphone. I was enroute to the customers home and shortly after 10 he called me asking me if I was coming. I told him I was 15 minutes away. He called me back after 5 minutes and told me to forget it. I later texted him letting him know that I had intended on reinstalling the new receiver at no charge and I was sorry for any miscommunications in the matter."

Jim showed up on time. He was very informed and provided the services that were needed. Very informative. I would use him again and gladly recommend him to anyone. He fixed the sub woofer, installed an audio cable, checked the two TVs for correct set up and provided valuable technical information on how to use the devices.

Jim did and outstanding job. The two rear speakers in the ceiling were challenging as we live in an older home that wasn't pre-wired, so Jim had to run wires through the attic and down inside the wall. He took his time and the TV looks and sounds awersome. He's very professional and courteous. All work went as promised. I definitely recommend him!
Jim was very helpful in making recommendations for both the mounting position as well as arranging for an electrician to come in and install the two outlets we needed in our conference room. He worked very promptly in mounting the monitor, and did everything exactly as we wanted it. I would highly recommend using him if you are having any doubt about doing it yourself.
Installer was very professional and prompt. We only ran into one issue during the install due to the block construction of the home, which he easily remedied with a quick trip to Lowes. To date we have had zero issues with the work and the TVs are still firmly in place. I would highly recommend this installed for any of your needs.
I couldn't be happier. While he was working I asked questions about some of the problems with the previous set up of my home entertainment system (done by another company) and he gave me some great ideas about improving the ease of use. He was very professional and informative and I recommend him without reservation. Ultimate In-Home Theater Inc. is definitely on my A-list!
