I used this waterproofing company cost me over 9500.00 and i still have the same problem. they dug up my basement and now they are out of business. I had mold on the wall in a certain area, they told me it was leaking water, the mold came back so that wasn't the problem. On top of that they put in a filter and there was a $25.00 to have the filter maintenenced and now i cant have it serviced because the company is out of business.

I understand my tone was harsh but this has been a slowly growing situation. Here are some of the reasons we have for being upset at this point in the project
1. The waterproofing took around 5 weeks to complete.
2. The workers were only going to put up 2 layers of waterproofing and we insisted on a 3rd layer - as the contract states.
3. Your salesman Tom told us that we would have river rock to back fill everything except the top 18". Only the top 18" would be topsoil. In reality there was about 3' of river rock and 4'-5' of topsoil. We had around 10 quotes from waterproofing companies. All of them but 1 said that there would only be 18"of topsoil. The one exception said he back-filled to ground level with river rock - no top soil.
4. Your salesmanTom told us that all proper permits would be requested and any inspections needed would be completed.
We could not find any records of permit requests on the City/County website. If you have the permits please let us know and show us.
5. After the work was completed we were left with a very large pile of dirt that we cannot get your company to come and pick up. We have been requesting that this pile be picked up since June.
6. With all of the extra dirt that was used to fill around the house there has been a large amount of settling which caused the downspout
Drains pipes to separate from the downspouts - our downspouts were draining against the foundation wall. We called and emailed starting the beginning of June. We emailed and/or called every week for a month to get somebody to fix the drain and pick up the dirt. The company's response was that we were on the board. Then because of the settling and the lack of a response to correct the issue, the drain pipe disconnected from the sump pump which caused our basement to flood. We called the night our basement flooded and it was still another week before workers came out to fix the drain pipes. When the workers got here they said they didn't know anything about the dirt that needed to be picked up.
7. Per verbal agreement, we agreed to put our wraparound porch back together ourselves in order for your company to agree to run the drain pipes to the catch basin at the corner. We agreed to this despite the fact that we thought the drains would run directly to the catchbasin from the beginning. We were told again by your salesman that you would tie-in to the catchbasin. I'm pretty sure that it's industry standard to use the term tie-in when you are directly connecting to something - not water running down the street.
8. In addition, we told the workers that the brick paver patio did not need to be put back because we didn't want the pavers behind the house. It is in the contract that you would put the patio and wraparound porch back. We have saved your company many labor hours and money by making these changes.
9. Now, with the settling of the dirt, our chimney has shifted/fallen and looks like it may fall soon.
10. We were also originally told that you could do the waterproofing and drainage without going through our sump pump. This was the main reason we hadn't signed a contract with anybody yet-we didn't want the drain water to come into the house.
11. We didn't find out until after the project was finished and the work crew had left that the workers had been urinating on our stack of paver bricks in the yard. We could see the stain on the bricks and could smell it.
12. While the chimney issue is recent, all of the issues combined have culminated in giving us a feeling of untrustworthiness with your company. We do not have faith that you will make an effort to correct the problems we are having.

So far my basement has not leaked and the valve hasn't leaked because my sewer has not backed up . Anew sump pump was installed and it drains onto my lawn ( makes a muddy mess in the summer ) they put furnace drain into their drain tile which increases the water that pumps out. Should had left it as it was.|The did work fast and were neat - came early and left by 5 pm.|The offer a free lifetime warranty and included 3 glass block windows with a vent .

I hired Ultra-Dry Waterproofing back in July I have been going back and forth with them ever since. In July the first time they came to my home the work was done incorrectly. Water was still coming through on the floor. I also realized that the water main line had been cut and covered. Drip lines from the boiler system had also been cut and a door for the chimney clean out had been covered. I contacted the company and they agreed to fix my basement and also cover the cost for the replacement of the missing pipes - a total of $650.00. They also agreed to replace my door for the chimney clean out .The water proofing has since been redone, but the other issues still remain.Over the course of several months I have tried unsuccessfully to receive the payments promised to me. I have supplied the company with photos and receipts for work I needed to do to repair the damage that was caused by their employee. Several times appointments were made and no one showed up, leaving me waiting with no explanations. My calls and messages have not been returned. I am tired of chasing after them and the entire experience has been extremely unpleasant and frustrating.

We've had a lot of rain in the past days and we haven't had a drop inside! Tom was professional and knowledgeable and followed through on everything we were getting. There were no tricks or surprises or fine print. He was very clear.

When they finally did it, they did a pretty good job but unfortunately we have a little problem with it. Some of our water leak that we had in a particular area, we thought it was from the outside which they told us and not that it was from the dishwasher above. So it didn’t help the situation because we’ve had him out here 2 more times after and we’re going to have the dishwasher pulled off and either get a new one or find out what’s wrong where it’s leaking at. Unfortunately he didn’t tell us. They did a very good job. It’s just the idea of getting them out here to do it and too bad they don’t have the right people to do it. They are very nice. They took a basement because that’s what they do all the time and as a normal statement that they would need that the water is coming in through the bricks from the outside. Instead of digging it up from the outside which would have been a lot more money, they did it from inside. So that’s a good bouncing thing. It’s just the unfortunate area in this location in the work room that they didn’t notice above them and as time went out and we called them and they come out to repair it then they happen to notice it. That’s really the only thing that got me disturbed. They seem very concerned and they seem very professional and that’s why we used them. As far as the painting of the walls and everything else, the flooring and cleaning up, it was good. My wife called them quite a few times and they said they called my cellphone and there were no messages on my phone. They were here when they said they would be here.
