It worked out well and I used them before.

Things could not have gone better. The movers were friendly but very efficient and although I didn't have enough items to move to fill the 2 hour minimum it was well worth it to use this company.

TERRIBLE! They charged $50 extra and required hiring 3 people to "carefully and safely" move our piano. Their website claims they have the equipment and experience to move an upright piano. It states "We guarantee an experienced, clean-cut, honest, and hard-working crew to move your valuable possessions with care and precision. We are fully licensed and insured to provide you with complete peace of mind." They didn't use pads, just shrink wrapped the piano and caused $4,200 damage - they only want to compensate us $250. A professional piano repairman gave us the following estimate, "The cabinet appears to have been crushed causing the right arm to split the wood and separate from the rest of the cabinet. The right arm also separated at the joint between the right side and the plate that goes below the keyboard assembly. This separation and splitting caused the plate below the keyboard to move backwards and bind with the keyboard keys. This separation and splitting also caused the key cover slot in the right side arm to distort causing the key cover to bind when lowering and raising the key cover assembly. When I checked about the availability of a replacement piano cabinet, I found that the cabinet was not available in the USA. There is a possibility there is a cabinet in the Kawai factory but the part would be about $4000.00 and the labor to move the parts to the new cabinet would be about $200.00." It took 3 weeks for the insurance company for umbrella movers to contact us. We were told it was because the person they assigned the file to was on vacation. They also damaged our dining table, but that is minor in comparison to the damage done to the piano.

After having local folks pack my truck in CT, I hired Umbrella Movers to drive the truck cross country and be met by additional Umbrella folks to unpack the truck here in Vegas. I could not have been more pleased! They were not only effective and efficient, but very professional and pleasant to have around. As for the drivers, when my truck I had rented directly from Ryder broke down (due to no fault of the drivers!), they unloaded and reloaded into the replacement truck and got back on the road with minimal delays and absolutely NO loss or damage to my stuff! A HUGE relief!

<p>Kate was outstanding and really on top of my needs and scheduling.  Alan and Reed were the movers sent out who did an outstanding job of carefully unloading the truck and placing our items.  I have move 30 times in the past 37 years and trust me, this was one of the best firms ever used.  On time arrival, worked diligently and courteously the entire time.  I did my homework well and will always tell others about this Number 1 firm I found and used to help this senior get moved into our new home.  I just can't say anything could have done better in any way so help this company grow and help others like it did us.  </p> The company reviews on Angies and Yelp convinced me there was not better firm to count on and they were right! <br />

Oscar and Mitchell did an outstanding job moving a huge computer desk, sofa, chair and ottoman, love seat, dining room set, and large patio swing into a truck. Without being asked, they wrapped the items in moving blankets and even secured the load using cord with trucker hitch knots. We were blown away by their professionalism, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness. We immediately scheduled them to come back to the house for another large move. <br /> <br />

I contacted them after finding the company on Yelp and checking Angie’s List. I dealt directly with Kate, one of the owners. Everyone in the office is very nice as well. They are very hands-on and very personable. This was the first time I have ever used a moving company and there were no damages. The price was very fair. The final cost was less than quoted and they refunded the difference without having to ask. They are very efficient. My experience with them was wonderful!

The team that I worked with on the move were very professional and I can't say enough good things about them. They were very careful and listened to my requests at every turn. I asked for their advice on certain packing and storage ideas and were vey knowledgeable and gave me great advice that I had not thought of. The two man team worked very efficiently and did not waste any time in getting the job done. They were very careful about moving my items and treated everything with respect and I can't thank them enough for their efforts and attention to detail. I am glad I called this team and I would highly recommend them to anyone. <br />

There were four men that came and they got it done very quickly.  Very professional and got the job done.

These guys are great.   I was set up by Moving Staffers with Umbrella moving company.  They showed up on time and worked on a hot Las Vegas morning to get all my stuff un-loaded from 3 ABF cubes.  They guys were professional and handled all of my stuff with TLC. .   I  plan to use these guys for stage two of my move from Houston to Las Vegas.  Highly recommend these guys!  Especially Juan and Erin!!!!!!  Very efficient and professional. <br />

It went smoothly.  The workers know their profession,  they are fast, efficient and most importantly, very careful with your possessions.  When they moved us back in, I told them where I wanted each item and they place everything in its spot.  they even helped with corner curio cabinets that had to be placed on wooden bases to hold them sturdy.  I would use this company again.  Everyone was very nice, professional and informative.  Have given their names to many friends and family members. <br />

It went very well. It was a pretty good deal, it took a little bit long and cost a bit more but in the end it was significantly better than the other offers I had gotten.

rThe two young men who came out, Jeff and Mikey, were on time, extremely well mannered and very helpful.  They listened to my instructions carefully and went to work immediately.  They didn't stop working until they were done, and they made sure I was satisfied.  They were very careful with the packing and the loading.  I would most definitely use this company again. <br />

They were WONDERFUL!! They kept us fully informed, treated our belongings with great care, and double checked that everything was done the way that we wanted. They were kind to our son, who has developmental delays, understanding of all our dogs and were always professional. <br />

I've had good and bad moving experiences. Seems the larger the organization, the worse the experience. In this case, found Umbrella on Angie's List and contracted with them to move furniture and personal effects from my parents home in Las Vegas to my home in San Francisco.  <br /> Went well.  <br /> No.  <br /> Went exceptionally well.  <br /> Kept in touch by phone to advise me of schedule, progress <br /> Movers were friendly, personable and very efficient - they hustled <br /> Packing was very professional - nothing, repeat nothing was damaged or shifted during transit <br /> Arrived on time, hustled to pack up, but taking direction well, and listening - doing what we asked <br /> Made the trip in good time, and unloaded in San Francisco without any issues whatsoever. <br /> Great job Mitchell. Did a fantastic job for us.  <br /> Will recommend and specifically, will recommend Mitchell (the driver) again. <br /> My parents passed away and it was a big hassle clearing out their house and getting all their stuff out. <br /> Umbrella movers really came through for us. The movers arrived at 9:15 AM.   Mitchell, Anthony and Victor were all very professional.  They worked very quickly and their energy never faded throughout the day despite most of the heavy items going to the second floor of our new house.  Not one item was damaged which is a testament to how careful they were. <br /> I thought the job would have taken 2 days but to my surprise and delight they finished the job in about 7 hours.  I provided the moving truck and they provided the muscle.  They know what they are doing and plan to use them again and tell all my friends how impressed we were with the service provided.  <br /> I would say all these guys were in their thirties and worked as a team.   Was in the military for 33 years and moved over a dozen times and not once have I seen movers who were this strong, careful, fast and courteous. <br />

Those two loaders were very good and had a positive attitude as well as humor. I would endorse and recommend them to anyone who will listen. Great set of guys!

They handled all of the large pieces of furniture well. They were polite, professional and on time. Mitchell was great to work with and you can tell they were very experienced. They loaded the total capacity of the truck. There was a slight hiccup in the morning of the move since the dispatch had given them the wrong address so they were an hour late. They made up for it by giving us an extra mover. They professional solved their error.

The three gentlemen were friendly, funny and very accomodating.  The Lead coordinator onsite went through all my questions and planned out the move room by room.  We had a tricky move because of the multi-levels in my home and the flooring was still being installed due to major delays and they worked around it like pros.  Great service, all the way from Kathryn at the office to the end. <br /> <br />
