They were ok.  The person who was supposed to come couldn't make it, so he sent a substitute.  I wasn't really happy about that, but the substitute did the work just fine.  I would consider them in the future.

(for framing, drywall, painting, insulation, tile) <br />  <THINGS GOING WELL> <br /> . <br />  <THINGS NOT GOING WELL> <br /> -Slow progress.  <br /> The contract says the job will finish in 15 working days. But today is 17th working days and the job is not halfway done. <br /> -Overcharge on material.  <br /> Project manager told me he would send the shopping list before purchasing but he didn't. They kept the materials in their vehicle. I got the home depot receipt after plumbing job started. I demanded the materials to be in my house and found items were missing. I couldn't check all the materials because many materials already used. Only checked big material and found $226 worth goods were missing. The amount was subtracted from imbursement.  <br /> -Water flooded 3 times <br /> Water flooded from 2nd floor bathroom to 1st floor kitchen to the basement. <br /> It happened once while demolition, twice while plumbing test. <br /> -Additional charge.  <br /> The contractor said there will be new plumbing and electrical update accordance with building code. <br /> But junction box relocation from bathroom ceiling to attic, and dedicated wire for GFCI outlets from basement was charged as additional. <br /> The work was done without prior notice. No discussion about additional work nor cost. I just got billed after that. <br />  <OTHER NOTES> <br /> I hired LSI for small handyman job before and was satisfied. But this bathroom renovation job is complete mess. <br /> I heard the bathroom renovation is capital improvement and there's no sales tax on labor. But LSI says there is sales tax on labor. This must be inspected before we can move forward. After the inspector got there we passed plumbing inspection. The electrical inspection failed due to existing electrical issues which were not up to code which was not LSI's fault. Kevin Quallis went out of his way to get the electric up to code for you. The only tax you were charged was for $27.00 which was for electrical supplies which is considered a retail purchase. You are not paying tax on the labor. Work was performed and completed in 4 days as promised.  Customer satisfaction is definitely #1 priority to this company. I left a message to obtain an estimate and my call was immediately returned by the owner who promised that someone would call me back same day to arrange an appointment.  I was contacted by Project Manager, Kevin Quallis who visited my residence the next morning to furnish the estimate.  I showed him everything that needed to be done.  He explained exactly what was needed, how the job would be done, and made suggestions when necessary.  Mr. Quallis is patient, comfortable to talk to, and dedicated to satisfying his clients. <br /> He prepared an itemized bill listing cost of each job. The estimate seemed reasonable; receipts of all materials purchased were furnished.  His crew was sent the next day to begin work.  The guys were respectful and hardworking.  Jobs were done to my satisfaction & I would definitely hire this company again in the future. <br />

<p>My Project Manager was Kevin Q. He contacted me the same day I called to get an estimate on repairs in my home. Set up a appointment the following week. Kevin arrived at my home on time and was very polite and professional. Kevin looked at each job I wanted completed, taking notes and measuring. Received estimate the same day and signed contact to have the work started. All prices for materials and labor were outlined and listed on the estimate for each item that needed to be repaired or installed. The estimate was a better price than I had received from 2 previous companies. As each job was completed I was able to inspect it and make sure it was what I wanted and looked good in my house. All jobs were completed quickly and I was very pleased with the service, professionalism and overall effort to keep the costs affordable.  I was provided with all receipts for any materials purchased.  I would highly recommend LSI, the staff is professional and efficient. My project manager Kevin was organized, knowledgeable and hardworking.   LSI is a One Stop Shop and a great resource for getting many different odd jobs big and small and repairs all done with one job.</p> <br />

We found LSI via google search and what a blessing! This company rocks (no pun intended) so happy to have found them. From my first phone call with Randy to the day of completion, what a joy is was to work with them. So many terrible past experiences and I have found my 'go-to' company. Not only do they do incredible and very reasonable exterior work, they can build you a house or fix a light bulb, seems like basically anything you need, Randy and the so nice and 'RELIABLE' crew will take care of you. I can go on for hours, the customer service is unreal, responses in minutes to my many many questions, anything they do to help they do it! Even things I didn't need help with they offered to help. Sherman, who is the contractor and Gregg the painting foreman are also top notch. Real guys... but so nice and incredibly knowledgable about their crafts. These guys are not jaded old timers, they are filled with energy and as far as I can see they love what they do and take great pride in their work, it really was, and this is a bit cliche, but it was like they were working on their own homes. Such a wonderful job from top to bottom, and this was a big long job, but they did it on time and on schedule. Randy who owns the company keeps you updated constantly and comes by to check on things, which I really liked. He did everything possible to keep us happy, even when things would come up as they always do, but his problem solving was stellar. I have already referred LSI to my friends, and to sum up I will refer them to anyone reading this review, highly referred. I already have them booked to renovated my kitchen this summer, can't wait.

LSI is one stop shop, they have provided us competitive pricing for pretty much any job you need for home renovation and done an excellent job on execution (so far we've done wallpaper removal, floor installation, carpeting and are about to do custom cabinetry installation). On top of that their customer service is superb, they treat you like family and really take care of you and communicate with you on every step of the process. I will never have to call another service again and have no desire to. If you have a busy full life and need handyman or home renovation work done and want to hand it to people you can trust to execute and deliver, LSI is the company to call.

I am in the process of selling my home and as I update various areas of my home, I have come in contact with several contractors.  Luckily, my experience thus far has been largely positive.  LSI Services, however, now sets the bar for how a contracting company should interact with and service its customers.  I was particularly impressed with its owner, Randall Strauss, who worked with me under some challenging scheduling issues.  His communication as we worked through the schedule was second to none and is probably what I appreciated the most.  Many businesses fail at this basic concept of communication, which is why it's so refreshing to find one that does it so well.  <br /> <br /> As a result of the initial experience, I plan to work further with LSI as I upgrade more areas of my home.  I've already received an estimate for this additional work which seems to me to be very fair and competitive.  I have no doubt the additional work will be performed in the same professional way. <br /> <br /> I highly recommend LSI Services.  I feel fortunate to have found them.

First, I must say this company has taken customer service to a new level. As Randy says, 'we provide "Four Seasons" customer service and Mike Holmes quality workmanship, he was one the money with both. When calling the (888) you are cordially greeting by Randy, who is one of the owners of the company. He has excellent communication skills and sets up your free estimate within 24 hours of your call. Randy, goes out of his way to make sure everything is on point from your first conversation with him until the job is done. I can really go on all day about this company, but I can just say, bottom line, in a business full of rip off artists and poor results, LSI has changed the game and turned this business upside down! I will never call another company for any home or office needs, LSI pretty much does everything except roofing I think, although they should probably get into that as well. Anthony, who also is a partner, arrived at my residence on time, total pro, got the jobs done within 48 hours and I had a long punch list including; painting, fixing exterior siding, garage door install, carpet rip and new wood flooring, then 50 or so minor tasks. As I said, don't think twice, I have already recommended this company to several friends and family, oh... and LSI has a standing promotion that when a client refers 5 new customers, they will provide you with a free entire day or labor for any projects you have, looks like I'm 1 person away from getting my free day, maybe they will let this be my fifth.
