Montano Construction poured a concrete foundation for an existing metal building on slag. First things first - they answer their phone, they show up when the say they will, they know their business, and they pay attention to detail. Montano Construction got me out of a dilemma putting a metal building on slag. They dug it out, laid the barrier, put in rebar, and poured the concrete in just days. After it set up a few days, they came back and got any concrete residue off of the metal. It looks brand new. I love my new garage that's no longer dank and damp. These guys are great.

Montano Construction is a family owned business we hired to complete 3 projects for us. For the 1st project, they demolished our old shed and built a customized metal building for us. The crew paid attention to detail and used quality materials. They dug a good trench all the way around for the foundation, used a laser level, installed plenty of rebar, and steel beams for the structure while measuring and remeasuring to ensure a precise concrete base. Before they were finished with the metal building, we added two more projects. For the 2nd project, they removed carpet from two bedrooms and replaced it with vinyl flooring. They demolished our back porch and replaced it with a sturdy deck using treated wood, customized to our specifications. The project team was prompt, trustworthy, hardworking and cleaned up after each day. We would totally recommend Montano Construction to others and if we have any more future projects, we will hire them again.

Demolition of a section of my old driveway and sidewalk, then installation of new concrete, was not all of the several projects that Gerson Montano did for me over a period of about 4-5 weeks. I purchased an old house with some serious issues. Besides the concrete work, Montano Construction crews removed old porch pillars from where they were perched on a crumbling brick planter box (which he also demolished), reinstallation of new pillars. Power washing, scraping and complete painting of the entire exterior of the house, along with cleaning up many issues that cropped up in the process of the scraping and caulking. Next project: very serious erosion control project in a deep ditch across the entire back of my property. Scraped entire area, including hillsides on either side, installed four (count them, FOUR!) layers of rock to create a barrier to the rushing water that pours through that area in our big rainfalls. He also took down two large dead trees from the back hillsides. Gerson has a gift for the details, for paying attention, for seeing what needs to be done and coming up with a creative way to fix long-standing issues. His crew was cheerful, always smiling, and worked harder than any human beings ought to work in a day. I never had to guess where my contractors were ... because they were RIGHT HERE through the whole of all three projects. This is a company I will call on for anything I can think of (next project, the installation of trees and grass), and feel sure I can trust the quality and timeliness of the work. They will be there when they say they'll be here, or let you know immediately if something happens. No two-timing of clients: when he's working for you, YOU are the project he works on, not three at once while being unavailable for most. I cannot say enough good things about Gerson Montano and his smiling crews. The company itself is professionally run by Gerson himself. Nothing was done without a contract being signed and price agreed upon. Anything unusual occurring ... addendums to the contract were also signed. Nothing was left as a surprise or shock at the end. Do not hesitate to call this company for all your construction/demolition/remodeling needs. You will not be sorry.
