I thought that they were very good.  They were quick.  Actually, I had a painter lined up and he backed out a week before our open house so this guy came in, put his other jobs aside, felt sorry for me and did it.

Quick assessment:  prompt, professional and a good value.   <br /> I found Benny and his team to be reliable and fast painters.  They basically painted the entire interior of my house (less 2 bedrooms) in 2 days with a 3 man crew that had to move everything out of the way.  I've been around the house and still have not found one drip or significant mistake.   <br /> Benny had a 3 man crew, including himself, and they just did a fantastic job.  The rooms look great and my expectations were exceeded.  I added a number of things at the last half of the 2nd day and they were able to accommodate and hit the mark!  I appreciate that kind of flexibility--I could have been skewered when I started changing things but Benny was fair and reasonable.    <br /> I would recommend Benny and Universal Painting to anyone who's looking for great work at a good value.   <br /> <br /> <br />

They were fantastic! They were professional, punctual and their lines are straight. Even when we accidentally locked them out of the house for an hour, they did not complain at all. They were so good we gave them a tip. We will use them again and recommend them to friends and family. <br />

We had Benny and team recommended by a friend where they had comepleted a basement and house extension.  After receiving several quotes, we decided to go with Universal Painting as they offered us some flexibility on the work and were also able to comeup with some innovative ideas to fix a few issues we had.   The team was on time, very professional and completed the work to our satisfaction.  We had an issue as we needed a 7 foot mantle which Benny's team assisted and came with a idea to get this done at a reasonable cost.  We loook forward to having Benny do our exterior paint in Spring <br />

These are outside painters, they would stop our inside painting job when the weather was dry outside, they would then leave for another outside painting job before finishing our inside painting work. A two day painting job took a  whole week. We were very in convenienced.  This was done by Univearsal Painting Inc.

They are extremely detailed and careful. They are on time and have an excellent price. They also do interior and commercial. The owner has a really good eye for color.

Before I begin, my wife and I highly recommend you stay away from this company. We fell victim to the lowest quote line for the first time, and we regret it. If you feel that GREAT communication with ANY contractor you get is HIGHLY important, this is not the company for you. That being said, here is our experience with this company. <br /> <br /> We initially requested a quote from Benny at Universal Painting Inc back in April of 2011. We were not home so he decided to come out anyhow and leave a quote on the door, adding items in the quote that we did not want. Several attempts to contact him after the quote, I was finally able to get in touch with him. I had told him not to replace the wood boards at the bottom of our columns as we would do that later. At that time, he had told me that this was not a problem and that our painting would start in mid May. Mid May came....and went! I then tried to contact him on several occasions after that both through email and through phone messages to no avail. Finally, in late May, I was able to contact him via email. At that time, he told me that weather was the factor of not getting out to the house, and we understood this. We finally came home from work on this past Friday, June 10th to see that they had started. Initially, they were supposed to just power wash the outside of the house to prep for painting.  Well, not only did they power wash, but they replaced boards that I specifically requested not to be replaced, and they also trounced all over our landscaping, killing one of our newly planted bushes. I immediately called Benny about this and told him that one of our plants was killed and his response was, "Well, I was not there. That was one of my other guys." I then told him that we no longer wanted his services and he replied with, "If you don't want my service, you don't want my service. Goodbye." I was floored. He didn't apologize for his workers, he didn't even try to keep our business. I guess that shows us how important we were.
