They showed up on time and explained the work and how long it would take.  We were able to leave the apartment and come back in 4 hours and it was done.  Very high quality finish and workmanship. <br />

This was our first time using Angie's list but communication with neighbors etc prompted us to call and try.  Not only did we get a great value for the service but the company was true to it's promise. The gentlemen communicated with us right away and came out to our home ,on time as scheduled. He didn't try to sell us anything else he did his job and it was fantastic . Former quotes for this refinish job were double the amount that was paid. I have never been so happy with the service and the job done at a fraction of the cost. I will not only use this company again but I will use Angie's list for a variety of services in the future. Thank you so much to everyone involved. <br />

Issac was our finisher. he was on time, polite and did a great job. I wish I had more work for them. I highly recommend them. I bought the deal on Sunday night and by Tuesday, it was done. <br />

First off, I found this company in a flyer advertisement that came in the mail. I called the Broward number several times (5-6) and didn't reach anyone. I finally gave up and called the Miami number and was directed to a service provider who could help me. We agreed on a time for the technician to come out to do the work. I was given an estimate based on the description I gave of my bathroom. I was not living in the house at the time as I just purchased it and it was a good thing. The man showed up on time and didn't speak a word of English. The tech had some questions and due to the language barrier, I spoke to his supervisor on the phone. The price went up for the work due to him stating that there were more tiles in the bathroom than he originally believed to be and after some negotiation back-and-forth, we agreed on a price. He started the work and boy, did it stink. He wore a hazmat suit...that's how toxic is smelled. He finally finished after, what seemed like forever. The work, at the time, was so-so. I was pressed for time and I thought, it was good enough so I will live with it. How was it bad? It looked uneven, streaky, and overall, some areas were smooth on the tiles/bathtub and others were gritty/bumpy. Fast forward a month and I noticed a chip. I just moved in a week and a half prior and probably took 3 showers in the spare bath. The next month, I noticed a couple more chips in the bathtub. And today, I went into the bathroom to look for something and I noticed the entire tub's paint job is BUBBLING up. I mean, if I could place pictures on this site, I would. You can't even begin to understand how terrible it looks. I have no idea why it would do this. This bathroom rarely get used and now this expensive job looks really ridiculous and it looked better before I had it done. I could have bought the reglazing kit at Home Depot and done a better job. I really hope the owner calls me back and repairs this problem right away. I now have an infant and young child in the home and to repair it would mean to expose them to harsh chemicals in the house. I'm very disappointed. <br />

This company was very flexible and worked around my schedule.  The showed up when they said they would and the end result is that I have a bathtub that looks brand new.  I would definately recommend this company! <br />

they were on time professional and economical and were attentive when I called after I discovered a paint run they scheduled the tech to come back and they fix it no questions asked! Over all a very good service at a very economical price.6

We had some disappointments with them. They sent out a very inexperienced person the first time. He started the work, I looked at the refinishing and I'm like this is ridiculous. I re-called them, they spoke with him and sent him back, but there was nothing different. We called them twice and told them to send somebody with experience. They then finally sent somebody with experience, but by that time the other guy had done so much damage. Right now I'm left with the bathtub. I had put the new bathtub in a few years ago and there's blackness all over that can't be removed. We tried to figure out how to get rid of it, but there's nothing that we can do. My bathtub looks like an old tub suddenly. I'm very disappointed. I thought the service was extremely poor. It was the worst. They obviously don't know how to do it to have that problem afterwards. The price was reasonable. After the second attempt we called the company and said that we needed somebody else. They did send another person. The last guy seemed to know what he was about, but the damage was already done by the other person. The last guy was able to finish it and it looks acceptable, but the damage was already done with paint everywhere. The response was good. The only problem is that they did not do a proper job, but in terms of their price and reacting to complaints they were reactive. They just made a mistake and we paid for it.

I called three providers to get an estimate. Two did not want to do my type of floor tiles. <br /> David at USA Bathtub and Tile Refinishing however, guaranteed me that they could do my floor tiles. <br /> As Saturday was the most convenient day for me to show what exactly had to be done, David easily scheduled me in for April 18. Isaac who was going to perform the work, arrived right on time, and explained to me how and what he would do. As my wive and I had specific color combinations in mind, we gave David the number codes, so he could order the right materials to do the job. <br /> When the materials were in, a week later, David called to schedule the work. Because of the combinations we had chosen, we initially planned for a four day job, so David scheduled us in for Wednesday thru Saturday. <br /> On Wednesday April 29 Isaac and Heyler arrived at 9:00 am. to do the job. They were very nice, courteous and professional. <br />  Isaac and Heyler worked all day, and by 7:00 pm they had finished the Jacuzzi tub and one of the bathrooms completely. <br /> They recommended to skip the next day to allow proper drying time, before I could use the first bathroom, and make the second one available for them to work on. <br /> On Friday May 1, they only needed about half the day to finish up the job by doing the second bathroom. <br /> I had a little concern about the grip of the floor tiles after having been refinished. <br /> Now that we have used both bathrooms a couple of days I must say that we are very happy with the surface. Plenty grip (in one bathroom, even more than before), while the tiles are nice and shiny. <br /> My wive is happy with the work, and the savings we accomplished. We can now start our next project much sooner. <br /> Thank you David. A job well done, Isaac and Heyler. <br />

The Contractor was very personable and I enjoyed his personality.  However, Contractor mentioned we may of had a leak within our shower/tub underneath the tile due to difficulties he was having with caulking around the tub.  We had a plumber contractor at our home today (3/26/15) and they could not detect a water leak anywhere within our shower/tub.  It was during this inspection I was able to see the work USA Bathtub had conducted with refinishing the bathtub.  The work performed was sloppy and the finish . . . I cannot even type the response I would like to type!!  I contacted USA Bathtub & Tile Refinishing immediately and spoke with David and he said he would have the same person return to our home with an appointment scheduled for Monday (3/30/2015) to correct their mistakes and work performed.  I am not in favor of this - to be honest with you.  I am not happy about this at all . . . UGH!! <br /> <br /> <br />

They did a beautiful job, were on time and very professional. <br />

Carlos arrived very promptly at 9 AM with a smile on his face. He was adorable & very courteous. He explained to me from A-to-Z how he was going to complete the job. He set up a tarp on the ground to contain all of his working materials didn't make a mess at all. He and his helper taped off the entire bathroom so that nothing got painted that wasn't supposed to get painted. He was very efficient & made sure I saw the job that he had completed vs running out the door. The job was done perfectly very efficiently in a timely matter by a very nice person. I was impressed that he's only been employed by USrefinishers a month. Don't let him go!! Workers like him are hard to come by!

The tub and tiles in my 1977 condomium had never been redone. The second floor tub was discolored and the tiles looked old and had chips and cracks.  My realtor suggested USA Bathtub and Tile Refinishing. I called on Friday and they were courteous and quickly made an appointment for the next Monday morning. I made arrangements for someone to let them in.  They were on time and called me to tell me they could not get in.  I called my friend who went over and opened the door.  <br /> <br /> <br /> I was at work while they completed the work and when I got home, I did not go upstairs to look at the work because it smelled very strong and they had told me not to disturb it for 24 hours. The next day, I went up to see it and it was very nice. The white coating looks very clean and bright.  The tiles look new.  However, I saw outside the bathroom door a large break in the wall.  The wallboard had been broken in. I emailed right away telling them about the break. I included pictures including one that showed the size of the hole.  They called my cell phone right away and then later but I missed the calls.  The next morning I called and the receptionist, Sara, told me that she would check with the workman to see what he would say.  I called her later that day and she said he told her he did not break the wall.  I told her that since my condominium is empty and no one else was doing work there, the only people who could have made the hole was them. She said she would check with the owner.  I called later and she said the workman said he did not make the hole so there was nothing they could do. <br /> <br /> <br /> I wrote a detailed letter describing the situation and what I wanted. I asked them to send someone out to look at the damage and to send someone to fix the wallboard and that I would do the rest of the repair.  I included the pictures and the invoice with the letter.  I told them when I was available and my phone number and asked them to call me.  I called and left a message the next day. <br /> <br /> <br /> I waited for a week but did not hear anything.  I sent an email telling them that I was very disappointed that they did not respond.  I got an email and a phone message telling me they forgot and that they would send a service technician out the next day. Unfortunately, I am on a short schedule to finish my condo and the repair had been made that day. <br /> <br /> <br /> I feel that my complaint was ignored and they did not have the courtesy to come out to see the damage that was obviously caused by the workman.  I would not do business with them or recommend them because of the poor customer service.  I was very reasonable  and feel that I was not treated fairly.  <br /> <br /> Update:  Sara called me again to apologize for not responding to my complaint in a timely manner.  She explained that they were very busy and that she had to speak to several people before she could get back to me. I told her that I understood that but felt that my email should have been acknowledged when it was received and that someone should have come out to inspect the damage. I would hope that in the future, they would be more responsive to reports of damage.
