DO NOT USE THIS COMPNY FOR YOUR FIREPLCE - We hired USA Supreme to install two gas fireplaces for a remodel at our Client's property. During the process, their installer cut a gas line and covered the cut with tape instead of repairing and disclosing it. This wasn't caught by their team -- it was only discovered later by the clients and they called CenterPoint Energy to confirm the leak. They then pulled the gas meter and required a full-house gas test before it could be reinstated. That test and the search for the source of the failure turned up the cut line hidden under tape at the fireplace connection. Covering a cut gas line with tape, rather than fixing it and telling the customer is grossly negligent, and it put our clients family at real risk -- a hidden gas leak in a house is not a minor issue. The PM Tomer admitted that he was able to get the installer to confirm they knew about the cut and covering with tape. Ginger even admits to the error in an email, but did not accept responsibility for the required repairs. We are out of pocket $7,580 for all of the required repairs that the cut line/leak directly caused: the mandatory gas re-test after CenterPoint pulled the meter, the plumbing permit, the labor to search for and locate the hidden cut line, correcting the fireplace gas connections to code (their installer had used flex line, which is not per code), and the repairs to the sheetrock, cast stone and tile that had to be removed to fix it. Ginger only offered to reimburse us $2,046. All of these costs trace directly back to their installer's original mistake and how it was concealed. None of it would have been necessary if the line had not been cut. They expect final payment, before final completion, which is sketchy business practices in the first place. If you're considering this company for fireplace or any remodeling work, get everything in writing, have all gas connections and remodeling work independently inspected, before you cover walls and make final payment. I would have to assume all of their installations are not per code, based on my experience on this project. We would not use them again.

From the moment my husband and I walked in the store, we knew we had found the right fireplace and the right fireplace people (and it was our very first store!). Ginger and Tom and the team (especially Sharice who manages the phone, etc.) have all been professional, patient, and friendly. They installed the fireplace shown in the video this morning, and now it looks like it has always been part of the room. It is electric, but so real, that I found myself worrying that Tom or Fernando would burn themselves as they worked! 😂 If you are researching fireplaces, be sure you pay them a visit. Ginger's delightful personality and artistic eye and Tom's vision and attention to detail as he makes her creations come alive will immediately capture your attention and ultimately earn your trust.

It wasn't found until CenterPoint confirmed a leak in the home, pulled the gas meter and required a full-house leak test. Hiding a gas defect like that is grossly negligent and put our clients family at real risk. They admitted fault and accepted responsibility for the fireplace leak after the fact, but disputed the thousands in costs it caused ? the re-test, permit, leak search, code corrections (flex line where hard pipe was required), and wall/tile repairs. All of that traces back to their mistake. Get any gas work from them independently inspected before you sign off and final pay, their work is not per code and they do not care about making things right with the client, when major mistakes like this are made.

Technician was great, arrived early. Excellent communication, seemed knowledgeable. I had a problem with the pricing. I was quoted $169 for troubleshooting plus a fee for additional repairs, which I was fine with that. For the additional repair, I was charged $149 for a fireplace tuneup(no parts), not knowing the price until I saw the invoice. I don’t know what the going rate for 15 minute troubleshoot/fix, but I do not feel great about it. I paid $345 to this company, and that’s all they will get from me.

Found the problem quickly and went to work immediately to make repairs. Problem is resolved.

Great, Tom was my technician. Said it didn't need cleaning. Tom sealed part of leaking duct and suggested a anti-bacterial fog for duct system.
