Excellent job. Everyone at Valley Forge Rug are pleasant to deal with. We got a good price for our floors and backsplash and they made sure that it was installed efficiently. Floors and backsplash are awesome! .We are doing another project with them, changing carpets in our family room. We will definitely use them again for our future projects - like putting carpets in our second floor.

Aimee and her husband were great to work with thru the whole process. They accommodated our request to split up the install on their schedule to aid us in moving items around the house. They showed on time and did very professional work. Got other quotes and VF Rug was very competitive for the particular laminate and Mohawk carpet we desired. Will use them again when needed.

The price was very reasonable and the work was performed in excellent fashion. The installation of the rugs went extremely well and the finished product looked beautiful.

Overall happy with the result, they do good quality work and very professional. The only caveats are 1) one needs some patience to get on schedule as they are small business and get very busy sometimes. This is expected and I'd rather deal with the same person and wait rather than many middlemen in a large business. 2) custom work and color matching is complicated and I was expecting a bit more guidance and oversight when it came to color matching. Stairs wood came from different company which was supposed to custom match color to what we had installed on flat surface ( standard bruce hardwood) they did match it on small sample fairly well to test and approve but when the actual product came to be installed, there were noticeable differences in undertone: bruce hardwood had some distinct red undertone and stairs wood had none. I understand that texture and grain of wood is out of control -stairs and planks are made of different wood with different grains, but the color of the stain is totally in their control and that part did not come out great. That's where I expected professionals to help more: customers do not have experience with custom colors usually.

First let me say that the customer service was impeccable. I placed the call and someone returned it within that day. They answered all my questions and we set up a day where I could come in to visit and view samples. On the day of my visit, Aimee showed me every possible sample I was looking for and mind you I wasn't sure what I was looking for but after her talking me through what vision I had , we nailed it. I needed another opinion and I couldn't be happier with the result Aimee and I came up with. The owner showed up on time with his employees and wasted no time in getting to work. They also had the annoying task of working around the other construction workers doing our kitchen. We went with a variegated Brazilian Cherry and they took meticulous care in making sure there was symmetry and allotted color placed accordingly through out the three rooms. My husband and I couldn't have been happier. They finished within 2 days and the results transformed our home. I truly dont have a negative thing to say. I loved the family feel and connection.

Aimee dropped samples and helped us pick out the right wood and color for our rooms.  Delivery and installation was quick and on schedule. Damian was very thorough and made sure everything was done right. The installation was done on time. We have been impressed with the results.

It went great. We allowed the professional (Moacir) to choose the best color stain and recommend a finish for the refinished floors.  <br /> He did word in 2 segments - front of house then kitchen/back of house.  <br /> The floors were stained a few weeks apart, but look like they were stained in one treatment.  <br /> We are very pleased with the outcome.  <br /> He also laid new floors alongside the 20 year floors and they look as if they have been there for over 20 years.  <br /> <br /> It is a dusty process....  <br /> we hired a cleaning service to clean top to bottom upon completion, but we did refinish 80% of the first floor.

I needed several large areas of my basement carpet replaced. The goal was to use the same slightly older carpet in our living room to patch the basement and get entirely new carpet in the living room. I got several quotes from big name companies who all told me it couldn't be done. The big companies on TV said they could only replace ALL the carpet in my basement and not patch it. Their quotes were outrageous! Valley Forge Rug told me otherwise. The said they COULD patch my basement with my existing carpet (that was in great condition) and that a full basement replacement wasn't necessary. Damon just installed our carpet and it looks AMAZING. The new one we chose for the living room is beautiful too and the patch work they did with the old carpet for our basement is seamless! I can't even tell where it was patched! Valley Forge Rug will be the ONLY place I call for our next rug job. Had I known they did tile too, I would've had them do our recent tile job. A+++

The entire experience was excellent. There were no hidden fees, rather a straightforward price. Aimee promptly responded to my initial query and request for an estimate, which was closely reflected in the final price. I highly recommend Valley Forge Rug Co. to anyone in need of flooring work! <br /> This is the second time we had Valley Forge Rug Co. do carpet work for us. The first time they installed carpet in our finished basement. In that job they went above and beyond helping me pick the right carpet style and prepping the cement floor so it was flat and even for us. The final product was perfect and cozy. <br /> Our second experience was just as wonderful even though it was a small job. We just needed carpet installed on the stairs to our second floor. Valley Forge Rug Co. responded very quickly to our need. It was only a week between when I first called for the job and carpet was installed. Again, they went above and beyond giving us helpful hints to keep the stairs from squeaking and Damon even brought in a very large package for me that was delivered while he was there installing the carpet. <br /> They did such an excellent job, I wish I had more carpet to install! <br />

Ultimately, we got a great carpet that is dark enough and durable enough to stand up to our pets. It was installed quickly and the installers took the time to secure some of the floor boards that were discovered as loose once the old carpet was removed. For both appointments, the folks from the company arrived on time and ready to go. <br /> The only downside was the lackluster communication. No one explained their process to us so, unlike every other contractor we've worked with recently, the first visit to our house wasn't a sales call. It was a simple, three minute visit to measure the area to be carpeted. After that, the gentlemen dropped off two samples from one brand. I really wish they'd just told us, at any point, that it would have been best if we visited their showroom to checkout different samples and different brands. <br /> That pattern continued when it came to scheduling the day of service. We were asked, via email, if we were available at a given time. We responded yes and then never received any confirmation. The next time we heard from the company was when the installers arrived. <br />

They were extremely professional and easy to deal with.  The price quoted was all inclusive (e.g., installation of new carpet, removal of old carpet, moving of furniture) so there were no surprises when the final bill was received.  They accommodated my schedule when they came to my house to measure and provide a quote, as well as when the installation was done.  The carpet was installed by company employees who do most of the installations (it wasn't outsourced to another firm) and was well done.  They were efficient with their time and cleaned up afterward.  I recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again. <br />

Overall, my experience was good. The end product is excellent and the process was easy and professional. I had been shopping around for wood floors for a while and really was at a point where most of the prices were in the same zone so I wanted to find a provider who could make the process easy and fast. I was able to secure a visit from the team to measure the space and provide an estimate for the work within days of calling. From there, they came back with an estimate and stayed true to their quote. I was really worried about moving furniture around but they made that part of the process worry-free and just asked that I remove the small stuff/electronics from the space. They would handle furniture moving and carpet disposal. It took about 3 weeks for the materials to arrive. They delivered the materials to let them acclimate to the environment and then based on my schedule they installed a couple weeks later. All in all, I think I contacted them mid-August and had my floors 4 weeks later.  <br /> The only hiccup in the entire experience was with the stairs. The stairs were supposed to match the wood flooring, but they ended up being several shades lighter.It was a manufacturer issue, but it was strange that nobody caught the problem before installing them. When I contacted Aimee and raised the concern, though, I have to say they were amazing. They committed to fixing the problem at no extra charge. We reordered and the materials were still not right so in the end they came out and sanded/stained to match, again at no extra charge. I was very appreciative of the team's responsiveness and customer care in that experience.  <br /> Overall, very happy with the end - product. My space was transformed and I know it added value to my home. <br />

Had to go over a concrete surface with peculiar angles.  Solved all the problems and did an excellent job. <br />
