The original Company owner Greg Verdugo provided great services to the greater Vancouver area for 20 plus years... I was honored to spend the last ten Years under his wing and learn from one of the best! My name is Robert Edwards and I have about 12 years experience cleaning, repairing and rebuilding chimneys in the Vancouver area. Many of you know me from being the main Technician at Vancouver Chimney and Masonry. I have assumed ownership and I am very excited to Continue providing services to you and your loved ones! A fireplace inspection from another company advised that the cracks in two fireplaces in our 1965 home were so significant it rendered them unusable until repaired, and we needed chimney liners. I obtained additional inspections & bids from 3 companies including VCM. I knew I needed a professional mason due to the size and location of the cracks. Greg walked me through what needed to be done to make both fireplaces safe to use again which gave me confidence in his pricing, scope and quality of repair (his 30 years of experience was evident). The cost was very reasonable, and significantly lower than the other two bids. He also worked this job into his busy schedule because we had a renter moving into this property very soon. The quality of his work was excellent. I highly recommend this company.

In 25 yrs. we've never had our chimney professionally cleaned, my husband always did it. However, getting up in yrs. doesn't warrant diy, so this year we decided to hire a pro, and found Vancouver Chimney & Masonry on Angie's list. From the first phone call to the end of service was nothing short of a great and honest experience. I want to commend this company's service provider Robert for doing such a fabulous job and was so pleased to watch his demonstration of such respect, care for cleanliness in our home, while being just a genuine easy person to talk with. He explained exactly what he was doing and finding all through the process. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and will continue to use this company.

The chimney looks amazing. The issue I had was cleanup. My driveway was left with the mortar powder that took me a few hours to get clean. They also left without saying a word. I appreciated the promptness, but would expect a bit more in cleanliness and professionalism.

The crew kept the appointment as promised and provided a thorough inspection of our chimney from firebox to roof. They allotted enough time for a cleaning but after the inspection they advised that the chimney is safe to operate and did not require cleaning. The price was very reasonable and we appreciate not being upsold on unnecessary services. Crew was knowledgeable and professional.

The two workers were prompt, efficient, neat, & nice. We would hire them again & are pleased with the results. They suggested we seal the concrete top of our chimney because of developing cracks. We will have that done at a later date.

Their workers came in a timely manner but left for 2 hours to pick up some supplies. The job was completed that day and they were paid. The chimney continued to leak. They came back out and caulked. We still had a leak. We asked V.C.M. to at least come and tarp the chimney so we wouldn't incur more water damage. Greg Verdugo (owner) told us someone would be out that afternoon. No one came or called. When we talked to the owner's wife she told us that they were a small company and didn't have anyone to come out and that maybe we should get another company. We did, and found out that our chimney was full of moss and the crown cap had not been replaced. We asked V.C.M. for a refund which they refused to do. I would not recommend Vancouver Chimney & Masonry to mu worst enemy.

We purchased the cap and scheduled all the work to be done, They did not come when the appointment was scheduled nor would they return any calls. I have had to have another company come to complete the work after I had paid Vancouver Chimney.

Perfectly. Was called the night before to let me know the exact time they would be at the house instead of just a 2 hour window. Showed up promptly at that time. Put down cover to protect my floor while cleaning and cleaned the entire of my fireplace as well as the chimney. Very friendly! Will definitely hire again.
