Varsity Movers was very professional. We had some jukeboxes and antique furniture to be moved, as well as a lot of boxes and everything made it without damage. They packaged everything well. Would highly recommend.

The movers were a bit late, but called to let me know they'd be a bit late. All work was completed by the time they had originally specified. They stopped at our storage unit first, and then the apartment before moving our furniture into our new home. I'd used them for a previous move, and the service was fantastic this time too.

After numerous phone calls and email regarding my over payment for services rendered I am now forced to proceed with legal action. Per their request I paid their estimate in full on the day I moved via a cashiers check. The final invoice was hundreds of dollars less than the estimate. I asked how I would be issued a refund and I was told to contact the office which I have been doing since September (I moved in August). I actually laughed out loud the last time they told me that Rob would get back to me. I sent my last email over a week ago and attached all of the documentation since I had to put it together to proceed legally. It was one last attempt on my side, but still no response. Frustrating to say the least and to think I was going to give them a good write up based on the experience with the moving crew.

Move from New Jersey to Maryland. Movers for the load were excellent. Movers for the unload in Maryland did not do a walk through and left boxes in the living room which were labeled for other rooms in the house.

They were careful, efficient, skilled, peofezsional, courteous, responsive to all my needs & requests both during the move & when I requested assistance afterwards. They actually came back to help me rearrange the bedroom the next day as I had them originally set it up in a very impractical way. I am a senior & have movedan6 times throughout my life & they were undoubtedly the best movers I've ever used. And to top it off they ended up finishing the job for $200 under the original estimate. I couldn't recommend any company of any type more highly. Thank you for the recommendation.

We interviewed 3 moving companies, including one we were happy with in the past. It was a double move as there was a time gap between the 2 moves. Robert explained everthing in detail. He gave us much needed packing advice since our stuff would be in storage for 2 months. The other 2 estimators recommended a storage unit that would have been too tight; Rob recommended the largest size available to give us easy access to our stuff if need be. The sellers of the home we purchased kept changing the closing date. Robert was very flexible in adjusting his schedule during prime move season to allow us to move into our home. Movjng is tough as is and many moving companies make it tougher. Varsity made for a very smooth and easy double move. I have already recommended Varsity to friends who are moving. Very well. 4 men working continuously save for 30 minute break that was of the clock. They took good care of furniture and boxes, and avoided knocking anything into walls.

Great. Rob's original estimate was very accurate - there were no unexpected costs at the end of the move. We had challenging winter weather but the move still got done- high wind on the loading day and snow covered ground the next day for the unloading. The crew arrived on time both days. They were friendly, worked as a team, and worked hard without any complaints. They expertly packed the trucks to fit many odd shaped large items. We had the same core crew with some extra help on both days. We were impressed with how well the trucks got packed and nothing got broken or lost. And they figured out how to unload with the snowy conditions. The crew and Rob made this stressful move painless. We are glad we picked Varsity Moving. We would recommend them for fair and honest pricing and professional work from Rob and the crew.

My house was OK Problem with second move-owner very nasty and threatened my wife and I because his men left without getting paid.I did mail his money as promised after he calmed down.Not very professional.

Possibly the worst company you can use. They broke my dresser leg and destroyed all 3 doors on my 2 year old, perfectly good stainless steal fridge by not strapping it in the truck right. The fridge rattled around and all the doors are scuffed scratched and dented. Someone did come out to look at it and that's all we heard for weeks. Finally we called rob and he wanted to give us $500 for a the damage of a $1700 fridge. Not acceptable. After weeks of not hearin from rob we got a hold of him by calling from a different number ( yea we had to do that ) and he finally agreed to pay us $900 for the fridge. Still not right but my wife accepted to end the . We moved on November 18 2016. It's now January 15 2017. I have still received nothing from rob. And I still have a broken fridge. Stay away from varsity moving. They don't care about your belongings. Nor will they fix or replace what they break.

These guys were fantastic. From the first phone call, I knew I was in good hands. Understanding that this move was for my elderly mother, Rob walked me through the particulars and put my mind at ease about everything. After giving me what I thought was a very fair quote, he added the senior discount on top of the Angie's list discount! On the day of the move, just as Rob promised, we received a call from Tyler, the head of the crew, telling us they were on their way. They arrived ten minutes early and set straight to work, carefully wrapping and padding all the furniture. We were especially impressed with Tyler who, for a young guy, displayed a very high level of professionalism and maturity, making sure the the other guys kept things moving. There were no extra charges or hidden fees. We will definitely use Varsity Moving again! Thanks Rob and Tyler for taking such good care of our mom!

From the first phone call to the estimate to the actual move, every interaction was handled professionally and efficiently. Rob looked over our house and provided an estimate that seemed very fair (we had obtained other quotes, all of which were higher) and turned out to be accurate. Four movers arrived as promised on the day of our move and worked **** ** a very hot day on both ends of the move. They were respectful, friendly, and very careful with our furniture. I would highly recommend this company. They clearly take pride in their work and are reliable and honest.

It worked out great. They did a terrific job. They showed up exactly when they were supposed to, they handled everything properly, nothing was broken and on the other end when we got to Memphis they arrived on time and quickly unloaded the truck and put everything where it's supposed to be and they did a great job.
