Took about an hour from the time he arrived till he left,but I think the price was a bit high to replace one outdoor faucet $451 +.

The project was completed and correct. The issue is the bill was $444. I was charged $207 for two 2 Chrome turn straight stop valves. The tech went to a plumbing store up the road. I went on the website and priced them at $11.02 each in stock. What a mark up. I was charged $107 to drain 2- 30? lines which once the main valve is turned off all faucets are drained leaving a little amount of water. I changed my faucets a week ago, I know the procedure and amount of water left in them. $95 was for the call and diagnosis. I was shown the invoice on his cell phone but did not get the invoice until after 3pm via email. The work was completed by 11:30am. I would have paid the $95 and asked him to leave.

For over 20 years my wife and I used another A rated Angie’s List heating and air conditioning firm and we have given them good reviews in the past. Recently our 20+ year old heater started acting up. At times throughout the day or night the burner wouldn’t ignite and we would be without heat. After seven service calls and various parts at the cost of $700.00 our old service company could not repair the heater and the problem remained unresolved. So we decided to get estimates to replace our entire HVAC system mainly due to it’s age and this unsolved problem. Vaughan Heating and Air Conditioning was on our list of acceptable companies to speak with due to their Angie’s List A rating. We called Vaughan and they sent Tony Pellegrino to our home the next day. My wife and I were very impressed with Tony. He spent over an hour at our home scoping out our basement, configuring our new system and answering our questions. Later that day we received the Vaughan estimate that Tony sent by email. I called Tony and he spent another hour on the phone addressing my questions and concerns. We received the other competitor's estimates over the next two days. We accepted the Vaughan’s estimate which was $1,100.00 more then the lowest estimate and $2,500.00 less then the highest estimate we received. Our choice was based on our comfort level with Tony, the price of the job, the longevity of the company (established in 1937) and the quality of the heating and air conditioning units that Vaughan installs. We accepted the Vaughan estimate on Saturday evening and Tony scheduled our job that coming week on Tuesday (for the heater) and Thursday (for the air conditioner). The reason for the one day in between work was because they squeezed our job into an already full week of installations and we were really pleased that they did that for us. On Tuesday morning at 8:30am the installer’s, Marcus and Jeff were at our house ready to start the job. These guys were friendly, professional, extremely competent and also very neat and clean, covering our rugs, etc. Jeff and Marcus did and exceptional job installing our new HVAC system. It’s “state of the art”! My wife and I are extremely happy with the job Vaughan Heating & Air Conditioning did and we could not be more comfortable, then we are now, in our home. Everything went smoothly and the system works well. The crew was very professional and efficient.

It went very well. They did an excellent job even the township inspectors commented on what a nice job it was. Very neat and clean. They explained everything to me.

Vaughan company was very responsive to my call and scheduled the work on the same day. Anthony tested the AC unit and determined that it needed coolant added. The work was completed quickly. House is cooler now and AC is keeping up with the hotter temperatures.
