Vegas Best Tree Service

The work on the pine trees and pears took two days. The olive trees took one day. The crew arrived on schedule and came back the next day at our request. The olive trees were scheduled for later as we went out of the country. My husband is extremely particular about how trees are trimmed and he thinks they look great! We will definitely use them again! Great quality workmanship!

First they said they'd be here at 9 am, then kept putting it off; they finally had to squeeze me in late at night. They assured me that they'd be back the next day, finishing it off correctly. However the next day came and went. Finally AGAIN late at night, they showed up and finished taking the trees themselves down. They said they "cleaned up" and everything would look great in the light. However when we saw it, we were horrified! They left the stumps sticking up quite a few inches, dirt all over and yes, they left some of my rock intact. They ruined 3 of my underground sprinklers, and left an overall terrible-looking yard. I figured I'd just contact the owner, the guy who sounded so sincere and assured me that his company would make sure to do a great job. At first he had an attitude of well, things get broken when trees are taken down, it's just common. Then he assured me that at least he would have people come back to grind the stumps and clean up the mess they had left. Then when he never called me back to schedule and I managed to track him down, he assured me again it would get done but said since he supposedly laid those people off who did my yard, that he was having difficulty scheduling someone else. After that it was one excuse after another. Now it has been a couple of months and he doesn't even bother to pretend to make excuses anymore. Last time I spoke to him, he said "well just do what you have to do" when I told him I was going to try to get my money back. One of his excuses was that he couldn't get a stump grinder. I have since found out that they are common and cheap to rent. When I checked into him, I found out that he no longer even has a business license!! His website talks all about "arborist" and all of that, but he seems to mean collecting checks and not doing the work, so I don't think he knows what the word means!

THE STUMP COULD HAVE BEEN MORE LEVEL AT THE CUT, THEY BROKE TWO SECTIONS OF CURBING UNKNOWN TO ME AT THE TIME OF PAYMENT. IVE ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT THEM 5 DAYS AGO AND STILL NO RESPONSE.

They cleaned up afterward.  They went above and beyond for me.

Service went fine. The guy who trimmed the tree accually cared about his job. He was very nice and provided tips to keep the tree healthy. <br />

The service turned out well. The technician was very nice. In the end, I actually got my money back for the deal. The guys came in with their chainsaws and did clean up all of the palms. They left a mess of palm seeds and debris all over, however. The service was more trouble than what it was worth. I called the owner regarding my complaint and he let me know that because of the huge response from the deal offer they were rushed and overbooked. The owner was very nice and realized the error of his ways. I would assume under normal circumstances a good job would have been done.

We were not on site when the tree was removed but all debris had been removed when we arrived.  The next door neighbor stated that the crew had been very careful to keep anything from falling in her yard. <br />

They went beyond my expectations and couldn't have been nicer about it.  I will definitely use Affordable Tree Service again and will unabashedly recommend Affordable by word of mouth whenever the chance arises.

Evidently he offered his services for a reduced price and couild not comply with all the takers - consequently we had to contact him more than once.  Trimming was satisfactory and so was the clean up. <br />

They delivered as promised and did a great job of cleaning up as well. I would recommend them to others. <br />

He is already in Angie's List, and he has got several reviews.  This company is very, very good!  They came out no longer than 40 minutes, and they pulled out a palm tree. Also, they trimmed a lot of trees.  We had two appointments with them.

Vegas Best Tree Service was very nice. However, at one point he tried to charge us more money than the Angie's List thing was worth what we paid for. But after we straightened that out, the actual work that he did was very nice. There was some kind of confusion there about the price but we straightened that out. We paid exactly what we paid for. We didn't pay more which at one point, they were trying to get more money out of us. But it all worked out in the end. The pricing was a great deal. It was an awesome deal that we bought from Angie's List. They were on time. 

It did not go so well. We had a dead tree that we needed taken out. We had a lot of trouble getting him out to do the work. When they finally came out they stayed long enough to cut the trees and then left, and they were supposed to come back to do more work and they never did. It was strange because that was the second time we used them and the first time they were great. They were on time and did everything we asked the first time.

We had several trees badly in need of trimming.  A crew of five showed up with all the equipment they needed for the job.  They did above and beyond what I thought should be done and suggested several things that made everything look much better.  They cleaned up the yard and street good as new...great people <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />

He did not keep the appointment.: I had to hurry back home from work for the appointment. He was a no show, I called  to ask what's going on, but he did not answer the phone. Later he called & said that he was busy with other customer. When asked then when he would be coming, he was not sure. Rescheduled , but he had called & changed a couple of more times. <br /> When he showed up for estimation , he generally said that; he makes no money from  Angies List deal, he is doing it only to advertise his business. He got too many customers from Angies List, but he makes no money out of it. He sacrifices himself for his business, etc....  <br /> All of his complaints were not my business. I had to tell him that " I got a contract , I paid in full, so  please do what you have to do.."  <br /> He came & cut the trees in my yard while I was not at home as we discussed at the estimation. <br /> A couple of months later, in November, he sent me a text that  he did more work than he should have done per the contract, so I owe him extra $35.  I ignored it. He sent me the same text again. I called him & said that "I had a contract with Angies List, you got yours with Angies List, too. If you have any problem with Angies List Deal, contact Angies List, & please  do not bother me". <br /> I don't think I want to work with this guy any more. <br /> <br />

They were okay; I did not have any problems.  The people who came out to work were okay too.

He lost my information twice and missed the first appoint and the second appointment he was so late I was not here and I wanted to be. I wasn;t really happy with the outcome but it was ok I guess but the did not clean up really well. <br /> <br />

They did a great job. They did the work in less than thirty minutes. They were fast and reliable.  We were completely satisfied with the service.
