Oops I wrote my review in the wrong place but their construction crew that they still have stole our grill (they did return it once the city called and told me the garbage guy witnessed them loading it onto their trailer) this is all verifiable by the city in the garbage pick up department. That in itself speaks volumes plus unfortunately our mosaics didn't adhere properly so the repair is a mess and was done very badly causing further damage to our pool equipment. It's all written above.. forgot to mention above that our patio pavers installed by them are caving in. It just settlement but when friends see it and I say that they laugh and tell me if they had been installed properly they would not be caving in. It's not in just some areas it's everywhere.
all the worked was finished around the time we expected...its alot of work and we felt comfortable about the time...the one thing we didnt like is when the last man leaves you never see or hear from anyone again ..only reason they came back was because they failed an electrical inspection (which was corrected) they had told me if I bought an automatic vacuum from them I would get an extra year warranty on the pool filter..I told the yes but they NEVER followed through after I made 2 phone calls telling them I wanted that deal...its anice pool and the workers were for the most part good..Pableo who was running the crew was great...I wouldnt use them again because I didnt like the way they finish and didnt follow through with anything else
I ordered lots of bells and whistles for my pool. The jets don't operate off of the remote. The pool has leaks. They came out and fixed some leaks a year ago, but there are more leaks now and they won't come out to fix them. My pool man tells me the reason I have the leaks is because the water gets down so low because they didn't put a bracket in that regulates the water height so I get air in the pump. After someone came out to fix the leaks, they found that there were more leaks where the water was coming out of the piping and into the equipment. I have 20 messages that I have left them to come out and fix it. They always promise yes but they never come out and do anything. I have had nothing but problens since day one and I would never recommend them.

We are very pleased with our material selections of Pebble Tech for the pool lining, decorative tiles for the pool and water feature, and Artistic Pavers for the deck. In general we were basically satisfied with the end result, but getting there was quite the experience. The office team was quite busy during our several visits involving the selection process, but did their best to accommodate us and were very helpful in assisting us in making the important product decisions. Their bid was not the lowest but was at the lower end of the group of four competitors. The bulk of the work was perfumed by subcontractors.
We signed a contract on 4/20/12 and were advised that as soon as all of the materials arrived in 2 weeks that they would start and the process would take approximately 2 weeks to complete. Material arrived late so promised to start on 5/7. Re-promised for a 5/14 start. At this point multiple e-mails had been sent requesting a copy of our signed contract without success, but finally the job was under way. We were impressed with the nice team of hard workers - an excellent start . 5/19 still no signed contract. 5/21 contract received. Project moving along fairly well at this point, although response times from the project supervisor were a bit of an issue. The Artistic Paver order was short and unable to complete a portion of the job. By 5/30 things seemed to be falling apart and communications seemed to be getting worse. I was even wondering if they were still in business. On or about 6/2 water was in the pool, but communications still lacking. On 6/4 returned home from a short trip out of town to find the pump off at a time when I was advised that it was very important to have on. 6/7 still waiting for the rest of the pavers to be installed. 6/11 screen doors still not installed and waiting for the rest of the pavers. After requesting the Siesta Pebble Tech warranty on several occasion we finally received it on 8/14. 8/3 advised that water was leaking from behind the new water feature along with a number of small issues still not completed and still no response on 8/17. By 8/20 after the "leak was fixed" it was still no good. 8/24 all significant issues corrected and final payment made. 3/7/13 - They never did respond to e-mails sent on 3/7/13 (not to mention voice mails left on the phone) regarding a renewed leak at the water feature. I and my pool service changed out the undersized return jets causing a significant water leak from the spa air intake and repaired the leak that had returned to the water feature. By 3/22/13 after no response I assumed that they were either out of business or just didn't care. I gave up.
While the total time without a pool was probably not outrageously long by Florida standards, it was the lack of communications, or not honoring their promises at many points along the way, that made it extremely annoying. Better planning on their part, attention to detail, and improved honest communication could have easily turned this project into at least a B+ or maybe even an A.
I would highly recommend requiring waivers of lean and proof of insurance including workers compensation from them, and especially all of their subcontractors - unless you have absolutely nothing to lose. And take some sort of medication to maximize your patience.

"We apologize that the customer had not gotten through to the company via email or phone numbers. The website and email addresses have all been updated and are new so the old emails may have gone to a previous employees old account. As far as phone calls there was nothing received into the office that had come across my desk, it is possible that they were made to old cell phone numbers of the sales man or workers who were replaced since 2012. We apologize for his ordeal and wish him the most enjoyment for years to come. New Owner Venetian Pools"

They started at the end of August but didn't finish until the near the end of January. They always wanted to please me with what I wanted done, but they seemed like they didn't have enough supervision to go ahead and get the job done in a more timely manner. It may have been due to my location, it seemed like they were doing a majority of their work across town. They had a problem with being here all the time when the trades came in to do the work, it seemed like I was representing Venetian Pools more than they were. They hit my well with a Bobcat and broke it. They did put that back to my satisfaction, but it was broken due to carelessness. They never came back to do work on a timely basis, they didn't keep their appointments, but they did come back but not at the time that they scheduled most of the time. The pool is now finished and it looks good, but it was a pain in the neck getting it installed. I have a waterfall and they left it untiled, so they had to come back and do it, and when they came back they cracked the system that pumps the water into the waterfall. They fixed that with epoxy instead of replacing the part. I asked them to extend the warranty on my waterfall and they did. If they said they were going to do something, they did it, but it wasn't in a timely manner. I don't think they had enough representation from Venetian Pools when the trades came in.

We initially made contact with the company in mid Sept, with a very nice couple who took time to talk to us , explain the different types of pool interiors, the styles etc, Due to our working hours they met us in the evening and week-ends for our convienence. Before long they were replaced with another sales person, who tried to assist us, but was rude when it came to the time we were taking to make a decision. Understand, the choices are many when it comes to the surface of the interior , the colors, the add-ons such as interior decoration (turtles, fish, sandollars, etc, ) plus matching with the paver bricks. We are looking at spending a lot of money and having to look at this for several years, so we wanted it to be something we liked. This salesperson quit the company and we were switched to a 3rd sales person. Each time it was like starting over because not all choices were written down and passed along. Shortly after making choice on pavers, we were called to say that style was no longer available, we had to make another choice, Then a long delay because that company only made that design when they had orders for certain amounts. Actual physical work on pool finally stated around the middle of January. We were told the workers would move all lanai furniture outside in the yard, they did not , so while cutting bricks, dust covered EVERYTHING on lanai. We are still removing dust from areas.
The people actually doing the physical work were great-- punctual, friendly, informative, helpful. Also, pointed out a a problen with the whirlpool jets and fixed that issue.
In the mean time, office staff had changed and the receptionist /office manager, was replaced. When we called to verify the status of the work to be done on the pool, she was rude, very impatient, unresponsive. If we called to speak with the salesperson, or the person in charge of our renovation, she would say "they just stepped out for lunch, I will give them the message" , no matter what time of day we called. Sometimes we got a call back, sometimes we did not.. During this time, the people involved had given us their business cards, so we began to call them if questions or problems, They always answered and called us back.
We had ordered inlays for the bottom of the pool. It was good that my husband happened to be there , the day they were to put then in because they did not have the proper inlays and that would have been wrong.
Now we are dealing with problems with new salt system read outs are not reading out and pool jets that will not turn off and call are not being returned promptly. This now early March, work fo
Response from Venetian Pools & Spas
"The salt system and the jets not coming on were both user error and have been addressed and the home owner has been better educated on how to adjust his system to his liking. Staff has been addressed and personnel changes have been made in the sales department, material suppliers (very slow production and delivery time on this customers paver order, with false promised delivery dates which were in turn relayed to the customer for our scheduling), as well as front office staff being replaced. Venetian Pools is striving each and everyday to take the positive, as well as the negative reviews, and use them to further change the company as needed for the goal of total customer satisfaction."

When the crew was on site, worked hard and long days, several spans of time with nothing progressing though, which is touch for the homeowner that's waiting and watching. Not always easy to contact or quick to respond, but overall good product, good price.
I would start by saying, I love my pool and hot tub. I would say our friends and family think its very beautiful and classy as well. In my opinion they are going through some organizational challenges. I have used few contractors in my life, so this might just be par for the course... I spent my money and i got more than i imagined, but i still have a few issues, and getting any response is impossible. they seem somewhat overwhelmed at times.

Good experience. I requested a quote on a pool and spa and gave them the job and in 3 months I had a wonderful backyard play ground. They did all possible to get me the design I made and fulfilled all my requests for details. The pool has original design, unique tile work unusual layout with a riser deck. Nice and friendly owners. I love my pool. They were easy to work with and sincere in their effort to do it right. They were fair in their price and willing to explain the process and the products and gave me choices. This is a good company. I would use them again and enjoyed the business relationship as the project progressed.
