Ventura County Rooter

The plumber was the worst I have ever had in my home. He complained the entire time he was here. He complained that I had hard water. Tried to sell me on a friends filtration system. I have a very good whole house system. He sawed the old faucet off and got shavings in the sink. I asked him if that would be **** ** the garbage disposal, and he said no. The next day my garbage disposal stopped working, and I had to hire another plumber to fix it. Also, the sprayer that went with the system never has worked. I don't recommend Ventura County Rooter for any plumbing inside the house.

It went ok but realized later that I didn’t receive original receipt for the part that he purchased.

Although he seemed pretty knowledgeable about plumbing and did a fair job, I had a number of problems with this plumber. He tried to convince me that he came out many months before he did (which I later realized was an attempt to try to invalidate a coupon). After I emailed him the coupon to show that it was valid, he refused to honor it (the coupon being the only reason I went with him). I wasn't happy with the unit he picked. He got joint compound all over the place-carpet, plumbing hardware, doorknob, outdoor faucet handle, etc. I was super bummed because I generally liked him and he was good about getting back to me, but he was dishonest, so I would definitely not use him again. If you use this guy be very sure you get a written quote.

They came to the house and told us what we needed to do. They were very nice and very helpful.

It was very expensive, they didn't fix the hot water heater issue, and the plumbing work was a little messy.

Once I moved in, my cat freaked out and managed to crawl into the floor heater register. I hadn't been able to find her for 5 days. After calling several businesses to help, I called Miguel in hopes that he could find her hiding under the house or using the camera and searching the heating system; since he was already familiar with the house . He wasted no time in getting here and thankfully was able to locate her - yes, SHE WAS under the house. While he and his helper couldn't catch her it was a huge relief they found her. I eventually borrowed a trap from the Cat cradle rescue and she is now back and home safe. Miguel didn't want to charge me for "just' going under the house versus having to use the cameras in the heater vents. So, in summary - whatever you need, miguel is your guy! Thanks so much Miguel!

Mike and his plumber had to cut off the existing pipes on all three sinks. They replaced the pipes (u joint) and all the hardware at no extra cost to me I was impressed by their promptness, organization,professionalism and the time it took them to complete the job. I didn't even have to clean up after they finished. I couldn't get a better price from my brother if he did plumbing. Bottom line Mike is the plumber you need to call for any size job if you are looking for quality work at very reasonable rates. Because of the extreme labor involved they had to come back and finish the next morning. I am looking forward to MIke replacing my kitchen faucet in the near future. I apologize for the pictures being so dark but I was trying to reflect the subtle LED lights that highlight the water when turned on. MIKE YOU GET ***** FIVE STARS

The owner came to my house. He was very nice, thorough, and explained the problems and the fixes he would recommend very well. He checked under the house for leaks in the sewer system and checked the water pressure coming into the house. He advised me of what next steps I needed to take. I plan to hire this company when I get the work done.

I had a very satisfactory experience with Ventura County Rooter. Within about 10 minutres they had successfully cleared the plugged water line, and then based on their inspection of the house and when it was built and its general condition, provided additional feedback about other plumbing topics that were beneficial to me. I had them come back the next weekend to perform a general maintenance check of the entire house plumbing system, which is now warrantied for two years. It was very good service.

Miguel was professional, courteous and thorough in his interfacing with us. They had equipment issues which prevented the first service date to be pushed out but contacted me in advance so it was not an inconvenience. Fair Services for a Fair price.

Miguel did an excellent job. The old faucet and valves were corroded from years of hard water deposits and were very difficult to remove. He recommended a single lever replacement faucet, and installed it along with the valves. The entire job took about 4 hours. At its conclusion, he also recommended installing a whole house water purification system to condition the highly mineral-laden municipal water. He recommended a specific vendor's product for this purpose.

Mike was on time. He presented as friendly, courteous and professional. I showed him the job to be done and he talked me through what was needed to complete it. He became very creative in completing the job, and I didn't have to pay an extra penny beyond what I had already paid for the Angies List deal.

Mike diagnosed the problem right away, quoted a fair price and completed the job quickly and professionally.

Framework, piping, plumbing and tiling was done well. The concrete floor was cut without hitting any tension wires (we had no knowledge of its existence nor location and had to cut a lot of it in several parts of the house). Demolition was done very well too, no damage to anything. Miguel has got very high standards on how framework and plumbing are supposed to be done. The crew cleaned up their area very well daily. Some imperfections in the finish work were not critical for the overall final look. Miguel tried very hard to meet and exceed expectations on all requests and was accommodating on my changes. The drywall for the curved wall is beautiful.

I checked around for multiple quotes before using Ventura County Rooter. Ultimately I chose to go with this company because the owner was very thorough in explaining the work needed to be done and his prices were reasonable. He was very knowledgeable, professional, honest and upfront about everything which I appreciated very much. While performing the work on both my homes he made sure to keep me informed and up to date on the progress being made so I was always in the loop. His workers were great. They left my homes clean and the work they did was exactly what I had hoped for. I would highly recommend this company and I will definitely use them again.
