No complaints. It went very smoothly

EXTREMELY detailed, took their time and did GREAT prep for painting. The paint post prep looks FABULOUS! Great group of guys, VERY friendly. Would never hesitate to recommend them. As a matter of fact I recommended then without hesitate to my neighbor who just lost her husband due to cancer. I am pleased with how their are treating her and her home. Thbey are doing no different than what they did on our home - very detailed prep for painting, taking their time to do a good job. So far the house again looks fabulous, they are not finished yet, but boy, Looks FABULOUS!!!!!! My neighbor says she just loves them, they are doing a GREAT job and are so friendly!!!

Mostly very well. The outside of the house was done in a timely fashion once the crew got started. It turned out very nice. The kitchen had some hiccups due to paint color and sheen matching. All in all, Mike worked well with me in getting the job done, and it also turned out well.

Excellent Work

The owner and I discussed the paint job and I told him we just had new vinyl floors installed in the 3 bedrooms and the floors needed to be covered. The floors were only covered with a drop cloth against the walls. There were small paint splatters in the middle of the rooms in the area not covered. Let me say I was not happy. The painters should have covered the whole rooms as they were empty of furniture. The painters rolled on the paint for the most part but the little splatters of paint that comes from the nap of the rollers was not considered. It ended up on the new vinyl floor.

It went well the house looks all bright and clean. I had some other work to do power washing the driveway and rebooked them to do additional work that turned out well.

Looks great

Once painters arrived, it was all business. Took about a week to complete. They did a good job.

Great. Very neat and tidy-- cleaned up after each job.

We bought an Angie's List Deal for the project. They called right away to let us know their schedule would push our project out to 3 months from when we bought the deal. We asked if the square footage listed in the coupon would be enough for our house and he assured us that almost all houses they've worked on fit within that limit. When they called 2.5 months later to let us know they could schedule our job, we set up a time for the actual estimate. It came in much, much higher than the deal price. Since it was well past the 30-day return time frame on the deal voucher, we discussed the situation for a day or two and came to an agreement on the final price. Work started right away and took a day longer than originally planned (rainy weather was a big factor!). A little better communication on when the work would start/end each day would have made making arrangements for my dogs a little easier, but overall the work was done well and the house looks great.

It wasn't very good. They didn't finish the job because I fired them. They should have showed up on time. He did some work and he didn't get paid 100%.

Mike and his crew did a great job. I compared the work to the work of another painter on a family member's house and VIP Painting was superior. On the front end Mike helped us with the selection of colors and trim options. He was able to work with my wife and I to get the look we wanted for our house. Mike's paint supplier, Sherman-Williams had a great selection of quality paints. <br> <br>Mike showed up (weather permitting) when he said that he would. Due to the detail of the masking job it took a few days longer than I would have guessed but we're glad to have the great workmanship that resulted. We had Mike come back on several occasions to paint additional trim items and we we're never charged an additional setup or trip charge. <br> <br>While being stored we had three of our 20+ year old storm windows break. Mike said no problem and filed a claim with his insurance company. Before having a commitment from the insurance company that they would pay the claim Mike had contacted City Glass and had the windows on order.  <br> <br>Throughout the experience Mike was likable and congenial. Not all contractors share these traits. VIP Painting provided value and a great outcome. When we need our interior paint touched up we will certainly work with Mike.    <br> <br> <br>  <br> <br>    <br> <br> <br> <br>
