Prompt high quality job

I originally contacted the company Dec 2020 and decided to go with them because they claimed to have the best materials and service. I paid $674 to reglaze our bathtub. The work initially looked good but within 3 months, I started to see a small section begin to bubble a peel. I contacted the company right away and spoke to the sales people. They directed me to Oscar who is the owner of the company. I’ve sent continuous messages with no reply. I finally gave up and decided that this week to contact them again. I sent a message to Oscar and he replied that he would be willing to help. I’ve followed up few times and completely gone silent again. I’m very disappointed that this company touts their superior service and quality of work and as soon as something goes wrong, they just ignore their customers. Ken F.

Sink looks awesome. The only issue was the base of my faucet fixture got stained and discolored during the process.

The workers were prompt and professional. The tub looks great. Unfortunately, it's no longer completely smooth and there are dozens of scratchy areas, so it's not comfortable to take a bath in. The guys also did a terrible job recaulkling the tub. I had recently recaulked the tub myself, but when they resealed the tub they had to do new caulking. There are multiple spots where caulk is missing now. I called to ask them to come fix it, but while they initially agreed to send someone out, it has been several weeks and they are not answering their phone or returning calls. This is completely unprofessional and now I have to pay someone else to finish the job that they couldn't do properly. I wouldn't recommend them unless you just want he visual effect of reglazing for a quick sale.

Not well. The technician resurfaced the tub in the wrong color. We were unable to observe the worker during the process due to protective measures he had in place. When we pointed out the error, he left without payment. The manager offered a discount without repairing the problem. No satisfactory resolution has been offered. We are extremely dissatisfied.

I have an old cast iron bathtub that has begun to rust on the inside. Virginia Bathtub Refinishing stripped the old finish, removed all the rust, and reglazed the entire tub. It looks brand new. The job took about 3 hours to complete. The company was professional and did an excellent job. I paid $390 for the work.

Excellent service, quality work! We called and talked to Oscar; sent pictures via text, received a very reasonable estimate, and an appointment the next day. Miguel was on time and did a fantastic job. Our tub looks brand new. Even received a military discount. Would hire again in a heartbeat, and recommend to friends and family.

I'm very happy with the results of our work and I think working with Oscar gave a nice balance of service, price, and quality. His prices were very competitive compared to other quotes. I've shared a bunch of detail here because I found it hard to make sense of reglazing services as I was shopping. Hope the review helps you. The end results of their services were excellent. The tub and tile look brand new, and the old cracks and chips have basically disappeared. Service was somewhere between good and excellent when you put it all together, just communication was a bit bumpy along the way at times. Oscar stuck with it until we had a plan in place, immediately followed up to get repairs done where the initial work on some of the crack repairs needed improvement, and immediately offered a discount for the inconvenience. Here are a few things to keep in mind. 1) Oscar will provide a quote based on pictures you send. If you have a simple job e.g. reglaze a tub or tile that do not have any cracks, I would expect this to go very smoothly. In my case we had some repairs that needed to happen and the text communication / quote was confusing and took some time to get locked down. 2) There's not a lot of hand holding so you need to get yourself comfortable with how the process works and the results you can expect. It was new for me, so that took some faith. 3) People talk about fumes, needing to get out of the house, etc. I was surprised how little odor there was. They use a fan to vent the fumes out a window. 4) On that front, keep in mind that they will need to run a flexible duct to a window that is not in the bathroom. We didn't know that. It's messy and we had to clean up the room where the fan was. 5) The repair work to the cracks in our tile needed to be redone after the first try. It felt to me like the initial work was pretty sloppy, but I don't have experience with this so it may be the nature of the process that you need to do a rough finish, then come in and sand / shape the repair, and touch up the paint. You might just want to ask Oscar. 6) The guys who did the actual work didn't clean up after themselves (and this is why I only rated "professionalism" as "fair"). There was dirt on the floors, tape residue stuck on tile, fixtures, and the floor, and paint overspray on walls, fixtures, and the floor that I had to clean up. No good excuse for that - just recognize you may need to do some heavy cleaning after they leave. 7) It was all done in a day, then Oscar came back the next day to do repairs. Okay, hope that helps someone out there!

The tubs look absolutely amazing. The work was done for a home I am selling. When my realtor went to inspect the job, she immediately requested information as to who performed the work. I 100 percent recommend this company for the job.

Oscar was extremely professional and did wonderful work. I had work done for the house my parents own up north while I was in Florida. He had no qualms with dealing with somebody so far away and the transaction went smoothly. I have pictures of the work done and I am ecstatic with the work he has done. I highly recommend him to anybody in the Alexandria Virginia area!

The installer came out and I had my first doubts when he damaged the bathroom door paint and only covered three feet around the tube in every direction in my small bathroom. He did have some issues getting the old drain out, but proceeded to refinish the tub after a valiant struggle. As it would turn out, he was the nicest person I dealt with though he barely knew any English and communication had to occur between him, the office and then me. After the 24 hour cure time, during which the bathroom window was left open by the installer, I was able to touch the surface after the installer came back to install the drain and I noticed that the surface of the tub was gritty in numerous spots and the entire bathroom was covered in paint dust that had adhered to the walls, sink, toilet, and fixtures. (After 4 hours of cleaning off the residue) The company did respond to my calls and told the that the grittiness on the tub would fade with use but they would come out anyway, as I had already paid extra for them to replace the drain, and buff the surface the following week. The company texted me rather than calling me the next week and the same installer came that day. He sanded and buffed the surface to such a degree that he had to apply more paint in spots over his previous work, this left raised spots that had a different finish. After use for another week, I noticed that water was sitting in the tub when it hadn't done so prior to refinishing; the paint around the drain was too high. Between this and the notice of two spots that he missed in spot-painting I called the company again. Their brusque response was to schedule a time to do more spot painting but that the different finishes was nothing to be worried about and would fade in time. I'll admit that I totally forgot to mention to them the standing water in bottom of the tub, but they rejected my request/idea for a redo of the job out of hand with a brusqueness that was unpleasant. I went ahead and called a different company to redo the work. My experience might not be typical of this company and if I were simply looking for a quick turn around on the job to sell my home, I would say they did a fair to good job. But as someone who has to live with and look at this work on a daily basis, and who had to clean up after their work, I am not a happy camper. As it happens, an interview with a new company said they would be covering the entirety of such a small bathroom and have to sand it down to the original finish to fix the problems. Lesson learned: if walls are coming down anyway, just get a new tub.

They didn't show up at the scheduled appointment time and they were difficult to get hold of to confirm new timing. Once they showed up, the work was complete in a fairly timely fashion and we were happy with the service. However, we spotted a couple of missed areas afterwards and they didn't respond to my TWO messages asking when they could come by to rectify those parts. We are now left with a couple of areas where we can see the old pink tile color underneath. Not good. It's a fair price, but not enough less than competitors to warrant poor customer service and no after care. This means that their work is not guaranteed as they state it to be.

Prices were the best and job was completed promptly and well. One bathtub reglazed with a chip and accompanying wall tiles. Then 2nd bathroom-just the wall tiles. Looks fresh white and new.
