The service was top notch and exceed my expectations. I would definitely use them again for work around my house. Extremely professional service both with the intake service and actual work.

People please be aware of this company. The owners are very unprofessional and and unethical. They reel you in with statements of being "Christian" and "God fearing" people. They were hired to do a full house remodel. T.H. and Shelia Carr, did not acquire permits to do the work, they destroyed our home, they placed an electrical outlet near 2 centimeters from our shower, he botched a low bearing wall beam, that the city deemed not compliant, he endangered our lives by cutting sewer pipes and allowing methane gas to pour into the house. We we're constantly waking up with headaches and feeling nauseated. Symptoms went a away a day or two after the pipes were capped. Our master bathroom floor is stable. The tile he laid can be easily popped up from the floor. The tile he placed on the wall in areas protrude out more than others. The grout lines are totally uneven. The electrical work he did was botched. We received a violation from the city for this. He never showed up on time and never worked a full week. They pulled a bait and switch on us with pricing. He stated on price came in demo the master bedroom and bath, then quoted another price. When he was called on it, he went outside to get his wife. She stated, the business would lose money if we did it for the price he specified. We were stuck and felt like we had no choice but to give them what they asked for. A bedroom bath that was supposed to take 3 weeks turned into 3 months and wasn't even 50% complete. On top of all of this, they lied and stated they were licensed and insured. We checked with city and county they live in and found out they are no. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Initially, the business represented themselves well. Came to the house, gave us his opinion and quoted us his hourly wage. We agreed at the time, they eventually sent us over a business proposal electronically and we requested that they get started on the work. They (the contractor and his wife) initially told us he could start December 6th. We received a phone call that they had a cancelation and could start sooner. TH started demolition on Nov 27th. The evening of the 27th, AFTER the demolition had been done, he changed his hourly wage. We reminded him of the price he quoted us to which he agreed that he remembered giving us that cost. A short time later his wife came running in and insisted that they can not perform the work at the price they quoted us as the "business would lose money". While standing in a demolished house, what were we to do. We very reluctantly agreed to the price increase and TH reported that this phase of the project would only take 3 weeks. There was one day early on that we got a text from Shelia stating that TH had another job that day but after that day we would have TH 8 hours a day until the project was finished. That was a obvious lie. TH never worked a whole week, was frequently late and even no call, no showed on a few occasions. One time he never showed up, he sent a text message with a photo attached showing that he was pulled over. He never showed on that day so one would assume he was held for some type of legal situation. I could go on about his use of time but that isn't the worst part. Fast forward almost 2 months and NOTHING is completed. The work itself was NOT up to any kinds of codes or standards. As a matter of fact, he did NOT obtain any permits to do any of the plumbing, electrical or structural work. This was not something we knew ahead of time but as a "contractor" (I use that term lightly) he should have know what was needed and taken the necessary steps to do things safely and correctly. TH cut pipes in the basement without regards for our safety. We had to be told by someone else we were using to finish the garage to tell us the pipes in the basement were leaking methane gas. Not to mention the mess left behind in the basement AND the work area that he never cleaned. His poor quality of work was starting to become VERY obvious to us. He left electrical wires exposed, put an electrical outlet right by the shower and did not follow code while moving a load bearing wall. The ceramic tile he laid is NOT flat, even or smooth. His grout lines are horrible, some are thick, some are thin and some don't even exist. The tiles he laid on the floor came up very easily AND there is an open area under the floor that I can fit my hand in that gives on the other side. Nothing is finished or put together. He hung the bathroom lights uneven and the backsplash he put in was hidden by the sink. When confronted with the concerns and the lack of permits and unsafe work, TH became verbally aggressive and his wife showed up the following day with the police to pick up his tools. We have not heard from this company yet. They have NOT responded to us or our lawyers despite their claims of "satisfaction guaranteed". Since he walked off the job and left everything unfinished, We have since discovered that he is NOT licensed to be doing this work in any way or any form. TH and Vision Destiny Design ARE NOT INSURED. They represent themselves as licensed and insured. They are fraudulent and deceptive in their practices. Be careful of what you ready on their websites. They use friends of theirs to give them positive reviews. Pay attention to the negative ones, they are the ones who are exposing this mans true colors. He claims to be Angie's List Certified on his website but at the end of the day that does not mean he has the ability or the credentials to do the work. As with every negative review they have, I am sure they will get on here and reply with excuse after excuse and try to victim blame here. They seem to be good at that but don't worry, I have attached photos to prove my point and to prove how he left our home in shambles. All these photos are AFTER he walked out and took our money. He left us without running water in the bathroom and a master bedroom and bathroom that is unlivable. My hope and goal in this review and all of the others that I will be giving is to make sure what happened to us will NOT happen to anyone else and Vision Destiny Design will not be allowed to hurt any more families.

The repair process started off rough, they had to reschedule 2 times during due to their heat going out on a very very cold day and then the pipes bursting, which is totally understandable and we were very understanding and were more than willing to work with them. Then during the work there were some concerns about the sink, the counter and some scratches on the new floor. Through this part Ms. Sheila was very communicative and responded timely. The work looked great--- from a distance as the countertop is not aligned where the corners meet. You can push the counter down and is not level. The end caps for the countertop were not installed properly. The sink wasn't sealed. These items were discussed about halfway through and I was assured that they would be corrected and I would be happy. I am not happy and expressed my concerns through text messages with pictures. Ms. Sheila did not respond timely this time, until I messaged her on face book and asked her to please remove the pictures of my kitchen from their site (they didn't ask my permission to post those publicly). She then called and I asked her to text me as I was at work and couldn't talk. She text me and asked me to call when available. I called a few minutes later and spoke to her and her husband and was not spoken to very nice at all. I was talked to like I was stupid and told that they could use the pictures without my permission and they run two businesses and starting a third that they would've gotten back with me at their convenience not mine. It had been 3 hours and she didn't respond, but when they expected payment they got with me "timely".I was told during that conversation that they would check their schedule and get back with me when they could get to me. I paid promptly and asked for an invoice at time of payment and again 3 more times and yet to receive one. I am so dissatisfied with the way that I was treated and all I asked for was what I paid for.

Response from Vision Destiny Designs
"This is the 2nd review that was given on the same job ( the initial was an "A" review that this client gave several days after the job was complete). This client took her time to call me and tell me what a great job TH did, and how " sweet and helpful" he was to her. After the initial job with her front door, this client hired us to lay a floor for her as well, and In fact, did reach out to us about there being a small crack at the top of her door that developed 4 days after our handyman had fixed it .. The client was informed that our handy man would take a look at her door while he was there laying the floor, and she agreed. It took awhile to square away the details of the job, because whenever we would discuss payment with this client. we would not hear back from her for at least 2 days. After we finally got this resolved, We were scheduled several times to lay her wood floor, but got several different reasons from the client's end delaying the start date. first she did not have all of the money, and we would have to wait for that so we rescheduled ( this explains why we would not hear back for 2 days at a time when payment would come up) . Then the following week her and her husband got the flu so she text me wanting to reschedule. I rescheduled her for the following week on Tuesday evening (our schedule is booked out for months during the day, and she knew this when asking us to do the job and she was perfectly fine with it. In fact, we fixed her door at a 5:30pm appointment). We had the entire week in the evenings booked for her for 3 weeks in a row due to her rescheduling (the last week was supposed to start on Tuesday evening). We were turning down other jobs for hers in the meantime, resulting in income lost due to her rescheduling then ultimately canceling for a reason she already knew about. She finally cancelled via text message indicating it was because we could not come out during the day(something she had been aware of for weeks). We have not heard from her since. Then, about a month later she somehow goes on Angie's list and changes her rating from an A to a D. Unfortunately for some reason I cannot post pictures of what the door looked like before and after our handy man fixed it, but I certainly wish we could. This door was a complete mess before it was fixed, and his finished pictures show no cracks what so ever. he had the door sealed as tight as it could be, and she was VERY satisfied with the work done. So much so, she made a special call to the office to brag about the work done, and scheduled another flooring job even after she allegedly seen another crack at the top of the door, as I stated above. Thanks, Management"

This is the worst most unprofessional company i have ever worked with. The only job that was completed was the under the counter lights in the kitchen.this company charges $35 an hour and demandsto be paid everyday. Any mistakes he charges you again. He didn't do the trim he messed up the sheet rock. During this time he took other jobs and be gone for several days. TH has limited skills to the point my husband who has no carpentry skills was having to tell him how to do his job. He started the flooring project in the great room and never came back because it was over his head. The really sad issue is they use being Christians as premise to get work and then cheat you. Below you will see the actual pictures of their work not the fabricated one on the website. My hope is that this review will save others from making a mistake in hiring this company
