We had VM contracting do the roof on our home a couple years ago and the work was stellar! When we needed the windows replaced we had Mr. Vinney come back for this job. 10 windows and a large bay window. The work, once again, was very well done! Very competitive pricing and on time completion. We will use them in the next year or so when we we do the siding our home! Highly recommended!

Work is basically ok but terrible communication and rather messy, including coming home to find the work crew having taken over my garage as work space without letting me know and leaving a mess for me to clean up. Owner didn’t seem to care and was not communicative of additional costs incurred. I would not recommend.

In short order it was obvious that they knew what they were doing. They replaced the damaged wood. Sealed the opening and reinstalled the skylight. They then further sealed the skylight and replaced the shingles. I feel very confident that it will not leak again. Besides their excellent work, they showed up when they said they would and kept me informed about scheduling. I highly recommend them and I'm getting my list ready for them to do next spring.

Exceeded all expectations. Reached out to 7 Madison area interior contractors at the top of Yelp / Google in late July to get a quote for closet removal along with the possible addition of flooring work. Of the 7 contractors, 5 responded and came out to survey the job. Only 2 got back with rough quotes, a 3rd wanted ~$1k to come up with a quote. VM Contracting's quote and start date matched my rough budget and timeline expectations for the job, whereas some other quotes exceeded VM's by nearly 8x and could not begin work until 2-3 months later. Went ahead with VM and was not disappointed. They started work within ~2 weeks and I was so pleased with the closet work, that we expanded the scope to vinyl flooring & trim across the entire 1st floor. Again, the cost and timeliness were excellent. Would go to VM for any future work without hesitation.
