Excellent service, very knowledgeable, great communicator, and I will definately use him again.

Technician came and got the dead system that came with my home up and running.  He replaced batteries, got me into the panel, explained the configuration and setup of the system, tested the panel and various zones with me.  He also provided good explanations on how to use the system.  I was very impressed and will definitely use this company for any future needs.  I was also impressed that I wasn't upsold or pressured to purchase anything additional.  This company is a class act and I highly recommend. <br />

Wainwright Alarm Service Inc. came to my house to install new alarm. This includes new panel, contacts, battery. Also, they ran wires for a future camera system they would locate for me, with my specifications and needs, and install once an acceptable system was found. House was under a big remodel and a new ceiling was part of remodel. Since Ceiling was open, it was a good time to run new alarm wires and run cables for camera system to be installed once a preferred model was found. Since house was going to be painted once new drywall was up, they recommended that I leave new electronic alarm pad off the wall so as not to get paint all over it. I agreed. While Wainwright was suppose to run 8 lines for a camera system, they only ran 7. They said to call them when painting was done and they would run by and reattach Alarm Code entry pad and finish running the 8th line for my video security system. I paid them in full and cash. I have tried for 4 weeks to get them to schedule me so they could complete the job they were paid to complete! I have called many times, even spoke to Dawn and was assured they would be out the next day to complete job and go over the video system they found for my home. They never showed, never called, NOTHING! They were paid in full to do a job that they did not complete! I've left messages many times stating that I just want the job completed that I paid for! I told them I have moved back into my house now, after a 5 week remodel and I need my alarm up and running for the security of my family! The new alarm I PAID for in full cannot be used as I don't have anyway to arm or disarm because I don't have a Electronic pad in which I can activate the alarm. So, basically I paid for a bunch of wires that cannot be used for the purpose they were intended! My messages pleaded with them to schedule me to complete the job they were paid to do so my family would be safe with new alarm installed. They don't care about their customers or they would have finished the job that they were paid in full to complete! I've never been treated so poorly by a company in my life! Terrible customer service! I will now have to hire another alarm company to install alarm keypad and finish installing the final video cable that this terrible company will not/ didn't finish installing! I will be filing a judgement/ lien against this company to recoup the losses they caused me! Does this sound like a company you want to do business with? Wainwright Alarm Service is a horrible company! They won't finish the job you pay them to do! WAINWRIGHT ALARM SERVICE is not a company you can risk doing business with! Why take a chance with this lousy company when there are many other Alarm Companies that will fulfill their contractual duties! I had this experience with this company, why would you risk receiving the same lousy service as I did! It happened to me, it could happen to you! You been warned public, WAINWRIGHT ALARM SERVICE is not a professional company, and I found them through Angie's List!? These people put the security of my family at risk! This is not acceptable! They were paid in full, in cash, and did not finish the job or have the decency to return my MANY phone calls to explain why they could not complete the job! You have been warned. Don't do business with WAINWRIGHT ALARM SERVICE! <br />

My system would arm but opening a door or window wouldn't set off the system.   Joel and Dawn came out the next day after I called and went through the system.   They found several window and door switches that were inoperative.   After replacing the bad switches we found that neither the interior or exterior alarm horns were working.  After replacing those , everything worked great. Joel and Dawn were both great to work with.   They spent over 2 hours sorting it all out.   The cost was very reasonable considering parts replaced and labor..   Would definitely call them in the future if we ever needed anything fixed with our system <br />

Excellent service.  Professional. Honest.  Quality work.  I was very happy with both my experience scheduling the service and the actual work.  The deal they are offering is very reasonable as well.  Will use them again if ever need to for sure. <br />

<p>Joel and Dawn Wainwright provided excellent service!  I had purchased a $30 "Big Deal" that allowed for an inspection and a little bit of labor, but I knew that we had the potential that more work would be needed, as we had not used the system in many years.</p> <p>As it turns out, 13 of the 17 contacts in our home were not working.  They replaced all of them--and kept troubleshooting the ones that didn't repair easily.  </p> <p>We did not have the code to run the system and our system did not allow for it to be overridden.  Through an amazing series of educated guesses on Joel's part, he figured it out.  That alone was worth the price of the visit!  </p> <p>They spent the time necessary to get everything running perfectly--which ended up being several hours.  And they took the time and were very patient in teaching me all the ins and out of how to operate the system.</p> <p>I would recommend the Wainwrights very highly!  They do great work--and did an amazing job for us.</p> <br />

After my parents had an unsuccessful implementation with a large alarm service company, I recommended Wainwright Alarm Service, for this replacement.  The Wainwrights did a superb job, replacing a 16 wired zone system with a newer system that would also accommodate the 16 wired zones.  Despite the fact that some parts of the old system were no longer being produced, for example pool beams on the patio, they were able to integrate them into the new system.  They also added some additional functionality by hard wiring the garage door.  This involved going into the attic twice in September (in Florida). They were on time, professional, neat and clearly very experienced in their field. Being a perfectionist,  I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting a solid, .professional job. <br />

A+. I had put off getting my alarm system serviced. It was already installed by the builder when we purchased our home years ago. Wainwright Alarm was on time and got the system up and running in no time. No gimmicks or games. Very happy. I will  use them in the future for any home security needs. <br />

They came out on time, .and were very friendly. Turned out my system was fine. The fault was my misunderstanding how certain functions worked. They checked the system and answered all of my questions. <br />

This man was really trying to help solve my problem. We need more fair minded people like the Wainwrights. He only charged $30.00 and he probably spent 1 Hour. <br />

All I can say is "WOW".  This husband and wife team is honest, fair, hard working, and they know alarm systems inside and out. <br /> I am the type of person that likes to repair things on my own because I always feel I am going to get ripped off when I have someone come out to fix a problem or make a repair.  I had exactly the opposite experience with Wainwright Alarm. <br /> I called them because my alarm system was malfunctioning.  Dawn was friendly on the phone and listened to my concerns.  She promised a call back from Joel to set up my appointment for evaluation of my systems problems.  Joel called back promptly and scheduled an appointment at a time convenient for me. <br /> Upon arrival, they got right to work at evaluating my problem.  Based on their findings, they believe the system had a lightning strike which had damaged it.  I needed multiple new parts to get the system functioning correctly.  They discussed each finding with me in detail, and made sure I wanted to proceed at each step of the way.  In addition to replacing the needed parts, they had to trouble shoot multiple wires that were not working.  Some had been cut, others were simply damaged.  They repaired all the wires and got the system up and running like new. <br /> After fixing the system, they retested all windows and doors to make sure they were functioning properly. <br /> The end price was more than fair.  In reality, the price was probably too low.  Almost 10 hours of work, climbing through the attic, searching for breaks in wires, etc, and Joel barely had a labor charge on the bill. <br /> I plan on using Wainwright Alarm Service for any future alarm system problems, or for installation of an alarm system in a house I am currently buying. <br /> I wish all service providers could have the same traits as Wainwright Alarm! <br />
