They got on the job shortly after we were <br /> finally able to connect, however I didn't <br /> see the work they did until a week or so <br /> after I paid Kevin Walker.  Usually would <br /> have held back half until I saw it (and will <br /> from now on) however I relied too heavily <br /> on his Angie List ratings and paid him in <br /> full.  When I finally saw the work, I see <br /> a few shingles not sitting flat on roof and <br /> I see the mis-match where they did not <br /> complete the front porch area. <br /> When I spoke with Kevin about this, <br /> he promised to come out the next day <br /> and finish the shingling but he never <br /> showed up and his phone number <br /> is now disconnected and as you can see, <br /> he has abandoned Angie's List. <br /> Maybe Kevin and his crew were planning <br /> on closing up his business and I might <br /> have just been the "lucky" one who <br /> got duped in the process. <br /> I hope Kevin will read this, and <br /> get in touch with me to make amends <br /> so I can then let everyone know that he <br /> finally came through for me.  Here's hoping!

Reroofed split level roof on main residence. Work was completed very promptly and they did a thorough job in cleaning up after completing the project. I would rehire company to do work on our free standing garage when roofing is required.

     They took longer than expected but that was okay, I pointed out before they gave estimate that I had a persistent leak on back porch under high wind and rain , an I reminded him of the leak when I accepted Kevin Walkers estimate he assured me both times that would not be a problem in the future.  After it leaked the 1st time I called Mr. Walker an he came by promptly an said that the leak was probably in dormer area of the of the roof and he would come an repair it  in a short time but that never happened and I could not get a phone call thru to him. So now I will have to hire someone else to finish the job. Very disappointed with the whole mess.

On 2/18/13 Mr. walker came to my home to give me an estimate.  He walked the roof and checked for potential trouble spots and made a list of all materials needed to fix and repair my roof.  I liked the estimate ( which was a couple of thousand cheaper than the competetors and two major brand stores) and the knowledge he showed about how my roof could be fixed.  On 2/22/13 Mr. Walker and his crew showed up to do the work.  They were only able to finish the shed due to rain.  The foreman asked if he could come back on 3/24/13 (a Sunday) to fininsh the house.  I said this would not be a problem.  On 3/24/13 they showed up at 8:00AM to work on the house.  The roof was finished by 5:00PM that afternoon.  They found some minor flashing damage that was not in the estimate that they repaired at no extra cost.  Each time they performed any work they cleaned all trash and debris from they yard and left it like they found it.  They ran a yard magnet over the yard around the house to get any stray nails they had missed.  They didn't get all the nails up but, that is to be expected with a job this size.  The crew was very professional and answered all of my questions. <br />

I found Kevin Walker to be extremely professional.  He arrived when he said he would and started and completed the work as promised.  I had a couple of questions about the work after he finished via e-mail.  He responded within 2 hours and had a worker to come address the minor issues the very next morning.  I could not ask for a better experience!  I had also gotten 3 other quotes and found his to be the most competitive.  The price from quote to end remained the same also.  <br /> Bottom line it was a very positive experience.  You should have no worries hiring this company! <br /> <br />

An easeful process from initial contact to finish with excellent quality of workmanship, and clean up. I was in Florida at the time I needed to replace the roof on an older home just purchased and the entire process was very professionally handled and timely. Excellent quality and service, did a great job. I would highly recommend them for anyone who needs to replace their roof. <br />

Kevin came by the next morning after I called them and said we had an exposed roofing nail and a couple of cracked shingles. He said he could pick up some matching shingles and be back the next day(Of course this was the day before thanksgiving) his men showed up and took care of it and did some additional caulking as well. I was most pleased that they could handle the problem quickly as I had a big Thanksgiving dinner planned. I would recommend Walker as a roofing contractor. <br />

Contacted  <strong>Walker Roofing</strong> to repair leaking roof at our family cottage at Holden Beach.  Kevin  Walker provided three different job estimates --  re-doing the entire roof with up - graded shingles, re-doing the roof with comparable shingles, or replacing the lost shingles.  (He also provided an estimate for a metal roof, which we had mentioned in conversation as a possible future up-grade.)  We consulted our co-owners -- and they chose to just replace the lost shingles.    Walker arrived when he said he would, did a great job with the roof, and cleaned up completely.    <strong>We would highly recommend him (and have) to other homeowners for his knowledge, skill and reliability.   Top notch work for a very reasonable price!</strong> <br />

We did compare prices and we talked with them at length because it is a really large house. We chose Kevin Walker above all the other architects who do roofing and things like that. The service that he gave was exactly like it said on Angie's List; it was excellent. He had a crew here that were here from 7:30 in the morning until 6:30 every night. They picked up and cleaned up very mannerly and did an excellent job. We've had roofers for five years working on our roof as I was having water problems coming on my roof. Walker Roofing Specialists were on top. Kevin Walker is a real specialist. He does what he says he will do and he gave a ten year warranty. He had surgery during the time that we had the repair done and he was here the next day with casts and crutches. His foreman was just as knowledgeable as he was, and would come down to talk with you instead of screaming from rooftops like many of them do. He could answer any technical question. We had the Mediterranean style roof with really tall points and valleys and they knew exactly what to do and how to deter the water. We were very pleased with them.

Walker Roofing estimated the minor roof repair at $75.00 and actually completed the work under estimate. Kevin Walker was most pleasant. Angie's List had this roofing company as the best and they were. <br />

After several phone calls to roofers in the Leland and Wilmington area with no luck and not even a return call we found Kevin Walker Roofing on Angie's list. He returned our call the next day and came out as scheduled and found the problem immediately. Kevin is very professional, reliable and extremely knowledgeable. The job was completed and the roof doesn't leak anymore! The cost for the job was the same as the estimate he first gave us, which we felt was more than fair. He also gave us an estimate to replace the entire roof, and we will be calling him back to do the job! I would highly recommend him to anyone! We are so glad we found him thanks to Angies's list. <br />

We noticed that we had a leak in the porch ceiling after several heavy rains.. We found Walker Roofing on Angie's List. <br />I emailed Kevin one evening, he responded the next morning,came out for an estimate the next day and was able to fix <br />the two holes while he was here. We selected Walker Roofing to replace our shingle roof after soliciting several bids from area providers. From the initial response to my request for an estimate, the speedy and detailed bid that followed, the prompt answers/updates to the bid and through the actual project completion, Kevin and his crew were prompt, professional and really great. We would definitely choose them again for this type of project. We are very satisfied with the new roof from all aspects (cost, appearance, warrantee and follow up).

Had a great experience, Kevin and his team were very professional. They did what they said they would do in a manner that’s respectful. His crew arrived exactly on time as he said they would. They were efficient, working quickly and cleaned up as they went along. After they were finished, they did such a good job cleaning up, it was like they were never even here. Well, except for the much nicer, much better installed roof. Kevin came by the site each day and made sure to speak with me each day as well. He kept me in the loop and answered questions I had. As I said before, he was very helpful in picking out shingles and what to expect.

The whole process went so well.  Kevin Walker responded to my call within hours.  He immediately assessed the roof problem as soon as he saw it.  He could have easily told me to replace the whole roof and I would have,but he told me that only the leaking half needed replacement and explained to me further why he felt that was the appropriate action to take.  He required no money up front.  He notified me when the metal for the roof did not arrive when expected thus delaying his time schedule.  The next communication I got from him was to say the roof was completed.  It looks beautiful.

. Work was done on time and within estimate. Site was maintained in neat and orderly fashion. Final clean up was relatively nail free. (NO FLAT TIRES) Roof and trim look beautiful.

As soon as we called, they came and gave several estimates for different types of metal roofs.  In addition, they offered us a senior discount. <br /> We spent some time looking around at other metal roofs to see what color we would want and also called the owner, Kevin, many times to ask questions.  Kevin was always ready to help us and also give us updated estimates based on additional items we wanted included. <br /> As soon as we decided to go with Walker Roofing,  They came by with actual samples of the roof so we could be sure of the color we wanted.  Then, they promptly ordered the material.  The very day before the material came, 8 or 10 men came and in one day, stripped off our bad shingles and put a water barrier cover on the whole 5700 sq feet of our roof. <br /> The material came the very next morning and all of the men showed up early and started work.  It only took them a few days to get the whole roof covered.  The crew were real gentlemen and very professional. <br /> It looks beautiful!  We were so happy that we let him keep his sign up in our yard.
