I have a home owner's warranty that I go through. It is now Oct. 7 and my AC issue has remained unresolved since the latter part of June. When I was able to get them to come to the house the first time, they said I needed a new compressor. This only took about a month to get it replaced (in late July-HOT!) Then in the latter part of August the Air Handler started leaking and they did come and say it had a hole in in and it needed to be replaced. Why didn't they look at it when they were here in July??? Surely it didn't get a hole in it that fast. In the meantime, I now have ceiling damage from the leak. Finally, they were supposed to come yesterday and replace the Air Handler, but alas, no phone call, no text, no people showed up the whole day. When I tried to call them this morning, all I get is an answering machine, which I leave messages on but do not receive return calls. Yesterday, I called a cell number several times but just received 'I can't talk right now'. Later, I did receive a text stating that they had texted me about their people having the flu, but I never received that text. I know they have the correct number because they had texted me to say when they were coming. Sheesh.

"Unfortunately we have no control over how quick the warranty company furnishes the parts. The customers always has the choice to take there cash out and get it repaired a lot quicker. We go through this with every customer we do not furnish parts the warranty companies don’t allow it."

Wallace's Heating and Cooling was the most direct and affordable company. One of the things I appreciated (besides a great price) was the time Mr. Wallace took in explaining how I could get the most value and energy efficiency out a unit for my home. I also appreciated the timely manner in which customer service helped me.

Wallace failed to timely hook up the unit to the duct work which kept my attic air conditioned for three weeks until he finally completed the installation. Then with this last cool spell I went to turn on the heat and it didn't work. I called Wallace to honor the warranty he had given me and he said he would get to me as soon as possible. I never heard from him, so I called another company who came out and told me the heating elements had never been installed. So, $500 later, my heater now works, I will never use this company again and I will take every opportunity to tell about my experience

"The customer was told from the beginning that in order to get the proper seal because his house was built around the unit, we would need to cut into the sheet rock. He didn't want to do that told us to install anyways. So, we installed as asked and everything was fine a week or so later, he started having a small leak so we told him again we needed to open a hole in order to seal it properly he cut a small hole on one side we advised him we should do it on both sides again he said no. A short time later the other side started leaking so we went back and done the same process and finally got it done had he listen the first time none of this would have happened. Far as the heaters when we installed his units 15k heaters were not available and he was aware of this he wasn't not charged for them. When he called in dec i told him we would be happy to take care of his problem as soon as we came back from vacation, we take off the Christmas and new year's week. I also told him there would be no charge for his inconvenience we would do it for free to call me Jan 3rd we would be back in office i never heard from him again. The people he really should be upset with is the company that charged him 500 for the heaters they only cost 150."

After the owner gave an estimate over the phone, he committed to beginning installation of a Carrier 3 ton A/C unit, Carrier 3 ton Condenser Unit, and a 3 Ton Carrier Furnace at 9 am on Wednesday Oct 7, 2020. I called off work to be there. At 12 noon that day, he finally answered my call and he postponed installation to the following Saturday "first thing in the morning." At 1 pm that Saturday, I got a call letting me know that his helper forgot to pick up the AC and to "hang tight". He finally showed up at 10 am Sunday. His helpers quickly removed the existing A/C unit and furnace, and began installing the new unit. I stayed out of their way because they seemed in such a hurry. That afternoon, I left to go to the store. As I was leaving, I noticed the boxes they left in the yard were not labeled "Carrier". The box just said "Made in Mexico." I found him sitting in his truck while his laborers were rushing to get the installation done. I asked to see the paperwork from Carrier, and he pretended that he didn't know I wanted a Carrier. He complained that if I didn't accept this generic unit, he would be stuck with it. He finally agreed to install a Carrier but it would take a least two more days to pick it, bring it to Corpus Christi, and install it. Eventually the unit was installed and everything worked and I got the appropriate warrantee and paperwork. I thought all was good until I went to change the furnace filter this fall. I went to remove the old filter but they never put one in. So my furnace and A/C ran for a year with no filter. I called him in October 2021 to find out what size I needed and he promised to get back to me and never did. I would not recommend this installer.

"When the system was quoted i quoted carrier\rheem and told him it just depended on what was available at the time. We did have trouble getting there as he stated had a tech get sick so that is true. We installed the system " Rheem " not a generic brand once installation was complete, he decided he didn't want that one so i was frustrated because once it's installed, we have to keep it and can't resale as new. He could have said something at any time we were installing but chose to wait till the end. AC units do not come with filter's and should be changed once a month."

seemed friendly@ first but if you have a problem dissmisive, texted again says he will show and look at it noshow went on for 3 weeks had to have someone else come in and do the work(said work was kind of sloppy). no paperwork no warranty. discussed taking bill off from the work i did got hostile. so i cancelled the amex to renegotiate. decided to eat the 200 but i wanted the paperwork and warranty. 1st nasty then said he wanted us to pay cash or cashiers check. HAHA no record of transaction don't think so. figured out how to fill out warranty myself and told him i would call amex and have them reinstate. which I did and told him then he told me he was going to have Beto to come pick up check and if i did not he would file theft of services charges against me ie get me arrested.WTH? Not only is this man a bad contractor but has serious issues. very nice unless there is a problem. I thought people should know about this man before you hire him.

"Customer had a problem that was resolved over the phone but wasn't satisfied with the answer she was given. Then she wanted to take off 200 from the bill because of some work she wasn't happy with from a guy i referred to her. Then she proceed to cuss and fuss over it. I tried to explain that there were no longer paperwork on the warranties it was all done electronically (that's not me that's the manufacturer) and when she disputed the payment i did tell her we would file theft of services on her> Which is normal practice when someone doesn't pay there bill. She did receive a invoice at the time of sale with all the information including warranty info but wasn't satisfied with that either."
