Wall to Wall Flooring

I am more than pleased with the work of Vance at Wall to Wall Flooring. Before I called him, I had put in a few calls to other floor people. One never called, one called 5 days after my message and one was gruff and said “it’ll be lot more to haul everything up to a third floor unit.” So I called Wall to Wall, initially because there was a Angie’s list coupon but I wanted laminate and the discount was for hardwood. In any event he came over about four days later. (He was on another job and it’s just Vance and his son, so there was a delay). I like that he said I could buy my flooring from anywhere I wanted, because I said I saw what I wanted and it was on sale. He said he would go pick it up once I did, if I just told the store to hold it. No extra charge! Then once he got going and pulled the carpet he discovered the floor underneath was a web of concrete cracks, and he had to fill those in with a number of coats of cement, and level it, putting him a day behind. Though that work added to my initial estimate, it was very reasonable. He did a great job doing that repair, and even fixed a closet door that was off the track and did a number of cosmetic finishes that really make the floor look wonderful!! He re-stained a pole in my condo and even touched up the stair banister to make it all blend. It all looks wonderful! I would highly recommend Vance from Wall to Wall!!

Very late (3 hours) but did good job.

A pipe had broken in the basement. We caught it quickly, but some carpet had gotten soaked. They came the day after and were prompt and finished the job the next day.

Vance Hawkins started the work on agreed upon date and finished on schedule.  The final bill was the same as the estimate.  We used a diamond pattern in kitchen and brick/offset in baths both of which took longer but neither changed the schedule.  All areas look terrific.  Vance and assistant Mark were careful and complete.  They installed toe kicks in kitchen, brought in some new baseboard staining it and kitchen windowsills to match.  That's just one example (of several) of the level of detail and quality of workmanship Vance prides himself in providing.  He has very high standards. <br /> I can recommend Wall to Wall Flooring without reservation and with enthusiasm! <br /> <br /> <br />

Deciding we didn’t want to do this job ourselves, Vance and his associate Eric did it quickly, efficiently and beautifully. We are completely happy with his work. On addition, Vance also offered re-set our toilets and gave my husband helpful advice and encouragement.

Incredible service at a very competitive price.  Chad actually did more work than he had on his original quote, at no extra cost, just because he said it was the right thing to do...a high degree of integrity!  I would highly recommend Chad to anyone who is looking for the best service and the highest quality of work. <br />

Vance was reliable and skilled, artistic and enthusiastic. He was completely trustworthy. He stuck to his estimate and went the extra mile helping obtain the tile, adding custom features, controlling dust and protecting our home and furniture. A pleasure to work with.

Have used Vance with Wall to Wall for over 15 years.  Work is quality & timely.  Price is very good.

have to say a lot of detail needed due to rocks and platforms and done perfectly without odd resolutions. <br /> had a different flooring guy over first which was recommended from Lumber Liquidators and he recommended some odd changes including concrete in between the rocks of the fireplace and hardwood.  <br /> also additionally done the closet with left over wood and side paneling. <br /> we will see how how it works out in the future e.g. issues etc and responding to it. <br /> Again we are very happy with the "finished product"!! <br /> I thing I would like to mention, you will find a lot of people telling or pretending to be floor specialists. <br /> I wish I knew Vance before buying the flooring, seriously. I had about 4 different guys over and recommendation were all over the place including for the leveling to completely dig out the old concrete and entirely place new concrete instead of leveling it... <br /> Also prior we hire Vance other floor guys recommended engineered floors for the basement and no solid hard wood at all, so our favorite hard wood floor was out of the picture and we had to go with alternatives. <br /> So we bought the flooring but the guy was unable to level it or in summary "do it all"... <br /> So Vance done it all, saved us a lot of money and aggravation. But it was to late after buying the hardwood in May, had it acclimatized to the house for 2 month to return it and buy the original floors we wanted because actually he said it won't be an issue at all to use it. <br /> We will see how this "engineered flooring" will work out and I guess in 10-15y I'll use the real solid hardwood floors, only bad thing I guess Vance will be retired at that time....

Vance was on time & got the flooring down in a timely, professional manner. We will continue to use this company in the future! Very positive experience.
