I cannot thank enough the owner, front office personnel, and employees of this most professional business I have ever dealt with. Most other businesses have put me on hold, worked on their time, charged a service fee just for coming out, neglected to follow up with how satisfying their product and their installation/fix worked for us. As I was purchasing my home, Walter Brown's inspector did not hold back, explained in details as long as it took all my options for what would work within my parameters. From there, they sent out a crew that worked nearly around the clock to ensure all was taken care of without delay. Within a few weeks, they came out to reinspect and ensure everything is holding up and working the way it is suppose to. Whenever I call, day/night Ms. Sarah Edwards answers without hesitation with an uplifting and positive attitude that no matter the situation, she will prioritize it urgent to take care of. They have sent out a team on their dime, to help seal parts of the roof and chimney that were not necessarily under their original contract to handle and even fixed things from the inside to give my family the most assuring home preventive measures were taken and would last for as long as we own the home. A couple of days ago, after a few weeks of strong gusts of wind, the owner himself, Matt, came out to fully inspect, find the plausible cause, and stayed to fix the damage caused by mother nature's force impaling a branch thru a softer part of the roof. Neither Matt nor Ms. Edwards hesitated for one second in the fact that the rest of their teams were tied up, and came out immediately per what my employment schedule allowed for. As stated previously, I highly recommend not to overlook this company when it comes to work that they verbally state they will handle, and on time; they back up the talk with the most professional personnel and satisfying results. None of them have ever mentioned nor even tried to add any additional hidden, mysterious, or additional charges, and were more than willing to see things are done right the first time.

I just wanted to give a big thank you to John Cisna for working with us, answered all our questions and informing us of all the things we needed to know about the process of getting a replacement roof and most especially the price was great and reasonable. The installation went smoothly, George and his team came out early, cleaned up everything and finished it the next day. They were very efficient and did a great job on our new roof. Definitely, I will refer Walter Brown to my friends and family.

This is the first review I have ever submitted for a contractor. However, when a company offers this outstanding level of service they have more than earned a five star rating! After a severe windstorm damaged my roof, I called my insurance company and then researched / contacted several roofers in my area. As a result of so much damage most roofing companies were extremely busy. Walter Brown was the only one who had their staff working diligently to take calls, and somehow managed to fit me into their schedule even though they were inundated with emergency work. Two workers arrived as the rain started and tarped the damaged areas. Everyone at Walter Brown consistently replied to my emails and continued to stay in touch with me as we worked through the color selection and scheduling of replacing my roof. I researched brands of shingles before John Cisna came to my house to discuss the brand that they install. Finding out that they install the brand that I had found was the highest rated brand on the market confirmed that they had high standards both in the products they use as well as in the quality of work that they do. The crew who did the job was absolutely amazing, professional, courteous, and meticulous in making sure every detail of the roof was perfect. They completed the job in one day, and the young gentleman who went through the inspection checklist with me was thorough, and made sure that every detail was addressed to my satisfaction. It was a real pleasure working with Walter Brown Roofing. Everyone including the office staff, owner, management, and work crew were all a real joy to work with. My sincere thanks for a job exceptionally well done!

I couldn't be happier with Walter Brown. They gave a thorough inspection of the roof by walking it, clearly showing me the issues, and explaining any potential problems that could arrive. When we met to discuss the estimate, I was very appreciative that in addition to the estimate, they gave me a worst case scenario cost. For me, that kind of honesty made choosing Walter Brown a no-brainer. On the day of the job, a full crew of over 10 people came and worked hard getting the roof complete. They worked as a team and finished the roof in a day. Also, they answered all questions and did a thorough job cleaning up. A few hours after completing the roof, the ridge vent didn't look even to me, so when the site manager returned to pick up the dumpster, I asked him about it. He didn't like the look of either, called a few guys back, and replaced it at that time. Again, I was impressed that he was willing to re-do the ridge vent and that he re-did it at that time. We've had a few storms since the roof was installed, and no leaks now! This was as perfect as a home improvement project could have been. I've already recommended them to many neighbors and colleagues.

Great! Everyone from office staff to estimator to workman was very pleasant to work with. Had a problem gutter situation that many have tried to fix but they had a new idea that worked great. Actually sent guys out the day after the roof was done to tweak the gutter. Didn't quit until it was right! The guys showed up on roofing day right on time with a big crew. The shingle company hadn't put the shingles up on the roof because of the steep pitch, but they solved the problem by having a crew bring a lift while they were clearing the old shingles. They worked 12 hours on a very hot day so they could get it done in 1 day. Thorough cleanup. Nice guys; happy to have them working at my home. Roof looks great, & no leaks! Pricing was straightforward & very fair; I had multiple estimates.

Crew arrived on time and completed installation of approx 2500 sq ft of new roofing shingle in about 7 hours. Very professional throughout the process from estimate to completion of work and clean-up. Of three estimates received their price was the lowest by a considerable amount. Very pleased and would highly recommend their service.

I called multiple roofing vendors. Most would companies could not be bothered with considering doing a small job. While Walter Brown did not do the original install of my roof, but they definitely did not hesitate to offer to help. I called for an emergency roof leak problem. The owner was very responsive and surveyed the roof immediately. We scheduled an appointment for repairs which was completed timely and effectively. The contractors were very professional. <br />

The work was done only one week from the day that they came out to see the roof for the estimate. <br /> Everything looks great, and I could tell that it was very detailed and fussy work. The new shingles match the old ones perfectly; they are woven into the old ones well, and the valley where the old and new roofs meet is covered with what I think is called a "weave" seam, which looks like a herringbone pattern: extra fancy. I can see at least one side of the roof repair from an upstairs window. They worked after sunset to get the job done in one day, using headlamps. Cleanup was great, with no nails in the driveway or debris flying around, even though they were finishing up in the dark. Since I had more rotten plywood in the area to be repaired than originally expected, and the work took more shingles, the actual cost was understandably $219 more than the original estimate, but again, that was completely understandable and within the range of other estimates from other contractors. They had to fetch more shingles twice. Their written business policies state that this can happen, and it's only fair. They did call to explain this before they mailed the invoice. We have had one heavy rain since the repair was completed, and I am happy that there were no drips from the metal wrap under my porch, for the first time in about 21 years. <br /> I hope that this repair carries me through until the entire roof needs redone in another 10-15 years, and I would have this outfit do the work then.

It went pretty smoothly- they were able to start the work quickly and were on their way. There were a few details that I wanted done a different way, and they were very responsive and cordial in making sure that we were pleased with the end product. There was a mid- project estimate that was higher than what we believed to be "market", but, after reevaluating the situation, a competitive price was proposed. We were very please with the work WBR did on this project and would highly recommend them. <br />
